Yeah I had to retire from the race lads, was a shame because it was a great race, I think it probably would of been a 3 way fight for the win near the end in the GTE class, as we all went for different tyre strategies. But after 1h20mins I was shattered, had to work all day on Saturday :grumpy: no way could I of made the finish. Like memto said i'm leaving for a while to concentrate on the main WEC series, I might be back for the odd race here before the season finishes.

Good luck to all you rising stars, if anyone is struggling with there setup for GTE, you can try my setup just send me a PM, somebody's gotta stop Gadget and Plux from running away with the title :lol:. Cheers all for the good racing 👍

Sometimes a good internet connection pays off as I survived all 3 hours:P


Q: as this is the feeder series, if i wanted to occassionally race in the GTE car instead, would that be ok? dave/memto? I'm a part timer anyway and going forward i'm not sure how many races I will be able to run as it is, but i was curious if i could just pick a car for a given week and switch around? I don't care about the points per se, i'm just here to race with you fine drivers and gain some experience from this well run series. (suck up complete :lol:)

Yup, I decided to take all the pain of the harder tyres at the start of the race so it would have closed up had you seen it to the end but I still think I'd have needed errors from you two to put me in striking distance

It's a shame you have to withdraw. I truly hope to see you in future rounds even if its only occasionally.👍
 
Just to confirm what dave said a few days ago... there is a test session at 9PM BST in my lobby, it is for the WEC so it will be around SPA, but its always good to get track time no matter what track.... hope to see you there!!
 
I should be there during the test,haven't driven the R10 for 2 weeks,so I can work on tyre and fuel evaluation,always good to know how the tyres degrade front and rear round Spa.
 
Spa is a great track for these LMP's
hell, Spa is a great track for ANY car! wish i could be there to practice/test with everyone, too bad i'm 5 hours ahead of behind you over here.

ARGGHHHHH,my connection is sooo crap,disconnected twice and signed out in less than 20mins,I only managed 1 timed lap in all that,1 last go and I'm bailing.Forget it I'm bailing,I progressed with my setup but couldn't get a long enough run to guage if it is good on both types of tyre and tyre life.

Drivers brief will be up at the end of tomorrow with race info.... There will also be a test session on wednesday
 
Is thee another official test for WEC RS Tokyo this week? I could make something later tomorrow evening if there is
 
Hey boys, back com vacation. This is going to sound stupid, but I see the next race is at Tokyo. Route r246? Or is there some Tokyo city track that I'm missing?

I am working this weekend and will not be able to make the race. Pity, it is one of my favourite tracks.:irked:
