It was towards the middle-end of the race. Right after you had a spin (or maybe just a veer into the wall) at turn 1. I didn't see the actual incident, just you were waiting there right after I hit the apex at turn 1. Maybe I made a mistake and it was someone else?

I think it was me Tati, Sorry :guilty:

(1) I think I had a lot of damage and my car was uncontrollable, so I couldn't get off the racing line without spinning it, and maybe would of caused a crash if I had tried, would it better to risk a crash or park it? my best plan was to park it imo, I didn't save the replay so I may be completely wrong.

Lap 10 - RichyB28 - dangerous driving with damage - warning (1)

How am I suppose to get the car back to the pits then, I'm sure my Audi R10 don't have wings that come out of the side, should we just quit if we get heavy damage? because my car was undrivable after 1 crash I had, it would not drive straight at all, even at 20mph I was struggling to keep control. can you review this incident please.

You didnt get a penalty for it, so its not anything serious, you dont need to get so defensive about it... Yes you had damage which is hard to control but all we did was point it out as something to think about... we would reconsider it is there was a penalty, but there isnt.... everyone got damage last night and still managed to carry on, so please dont go on thinking this is some personal attack, you just ended up in some situations which ended in questionable out comes, that is all!!!

Ok I accept it, its just on these street tracks there isn't much room to get out of the way if you have big damage, especially in the last sector leading up to the hairpin at Tokyo, if we was on a normal track I could of got right out of the way (in the run off areas/grass/gravel). Maybe that should be considered on the street tracks before the dangerous driving penaltys are issued, but its cool I tried to get out of the way as much as I could, it is very hard when you've got major suspension damage (that is why I wanted a review), but no problem maybe some of that was dangerous but I couldn't do anything else. I was trying to get back to the pits to continue the race.

We understand that which is why it was a warning, just something to keep in mind rather than anything particularly wrong

I just re-examined the OP... Were my white line offences coming out of the pits or on-track?

Coming out of the pits mate, it's always stated before a race What the situation with the white line is as different tracks require different approaches, some tracks it's pit in and pit out

Ok, I get frustrated when I see my name next to dangerous driving on GTPlanet, as I take pride in being a clean and fair racer, I believe the dangerous driving was caused from the damage not me driving dangerously, a review would of cleared my name maybe, seems a little harsh from the stewards as I didn't cause a crash, but nevermind let's move on to the next round.

Yeah I thought I got penalties there on a couple of occasions. Last night I thought it was while on-track, but then I saw the two wheels on the kerb rule and guessed it couldn't have been that because there isn't really anywhere where that's possible!

Tbh mate I think you did very well for your first outing, the way it's run you will find your driving progress very fast haha but there are a lot of rules and regs to keep everyone in check

Thanks Memto. :)
I am a big fan of SSR5 so I think I can run well there, and at Laguna there is at least some run-off!

Yea the run off's seem like a distant dream lol, I need to figure out the sweet spot with the r10 so I can take the fight to the guys in lmp, as they are top drivers in the feeder and wec

What times are the classes expected to get at SSR5?

All I changed on my R10 was LSD and gear ratios,my setups suits this track much better as my setup hates slow corners,it has terrible traction, but mine suited this track, mediums were also decent too.I was expecting you to be right up there and you were at the start(I started on mediums)until once I looked at the replay and discovered you were on softs.

Yea I was so far off the pace it was crazy, hoping to get some good testing for the next round, I don't seem to get on well with the r10

I had practice just before I joined the lounge for only 20mins for I was surprised to be up there,as much as I love SSR5,I'm expecting to struggle as my traction issues should show up there,my result put me right into the thick of it in LMP standings, only 8 points away, the next few months I'm quite busy so I can't practice much, but I should be attending the races.I'm also really surprised that I only got damage on 2 occasions.

Yea you ran an almost perfect race, was pretty clear cut as a win for you, but oalithgow kept you honest all the way through, big congrats to all it has to be said

Whit all respect to this series stewards i would like you to explain to me how to avoid the "wite lines" you penalized me for.. also I've did my best to enter and exit the pits properly eaven have some trouble entering the pits on several ocations because my car was damaged and was dificult to mantain it on a straight line. So i demand a re-evaluation on that part

every time i exited the pits, i stayed on the rigth side til the end of the white line of the pit exit, just before turn 1

Also, how does the point sistem works here? It says (10, 8, 6, 4...) and 1 for pole/fastest lap...
I've see i had onley 3p for the race, and where's the bonus for fastest lap?

From the replay you were crossing straight away over the line with your left hand side wheels, then popping back in,what I did sometimes was lift once I regain control so I stay within the lines, at my first stop I was very close to crossing over,I thought I did,but a couple of looks on the replay shows I didn't cross,it was close though.

Like nin said you just lift off at the first part and straighten the car up, I won't review it as its the most clear cut penalty

To you 3rd place in the race due to the avoidable contact which means you got 7 points, in your first race you got 6 points, so overall you have 13 points

6 points for 3rd, 1 point for fastest lap,

PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THE CHANGES!!!!

due to conflicting times with the N24 car selection series which a lot of drivers in this series will be part of, the rising stars series has been moved to sunday time slot, I know that this is affect some of the people taking part but it has been moved to sunday as we have more americans than we do australians running in the series.... I do sincerely apologies to anyone who is affected by the time change but in order to keep to a majority demand the times had to be moved.

All changes are as follows with the countdown clock changed to the correct time.

MOVED TO SUNDAY THE 15th

Thanks for amending this Matt. As you know the N24 was the priority for many of us before signing up to this excellent series, and it's great that both can be accommodated and supported with this switch.

For me the switch to Sunday (rather than Friday) actually suits me better anyway.

I won't be able to make Sundays, since I'm very busy for quite some time the days I can make it are Friday and Saturday,is the main series changing days too?

No the main series is remaining in the Saturday timeslot.

Ah mate I'm really sorry to hear that... Unfortunately with another series running on the same days with about 7 drivers in that series we have to move it.... But if more people can make Fridays than Sundays I shall move it over
