Parking it, guys. Couldn't go incident free for long enough to even wear my tires out. Sorry Adam about our run in. I hit the wall and was trying to stay out of your way, but the damaged car just took me where it wanted.

WEC Rising Stars Round 5 Points and penalties
Lap2 - TDZDave - Memto - Racing Incident - NFA
Lap2 - TDZDave - Jonny - Avoidable contact - 60 seconds
1. TDZ, a very silly incident that should not have happened, races you will know are not won in the first lap could have taken the other car out easily
2. TDZ, another example of a lack of understanding of the car you are driving, there was space for the two cars to get through the corner, but you attempted to take the Apex of the corner when the other car was already there, the other car could not have moved over any more and a very silly crash resulted.
Because of your accumulation of penalties and questionable incidents within the WEC and WEC rising stars, we request that from now you drive GTE.

Since the races are on Sundays now, I should be able to make them.
I'm pretty sure these races will be over by Midnight GMT, so unless my schedule radically changes, which it has done a lot for me lately, I should be showing up for Laguna Seca, ready with the R10.

Was not happy with my performance at SSR5. Having had a look back at the replay, for sure I made a few too many mistakes, but my main problem was that I coimpletely forgot about the split tyre strategy in this series, and ended up qualifying, and running the entire race on the harder 'Medium' tyre. I will ensure I don't make that mistake again at Laguna!!!

Circuit: Laguna Seca
Laps: 90 + Pace lap
Weather: Sunny
Circuit Rules:
+) Race Start: Rolling start like normal, pole sitter will accelerate away at any point when they reach the grid slots and when they do so I shall call green over the headset for the rest of the field.
+) Pit Entry, lines into the pits will be monitored and dangerous entries into the pits will be awarded penalties.
+) Pit Exit, Please do not swing across the track when exiting the pits, there may be someone coming up behind and it will be a very big accident if you do so.
+) GTE cars, HOLD YOUR LINE! there were several incidents with LMP1 cars and GTE cars due to a failure to do this, If you are going to move over make your actions clear very early, I can appreciate getting out of the way can be difficult, BUT! that isn't your job, It is the LMP1 drivers job to get by you cleanly without contact, and due to people trying to do the "right" thing its caused more issues then needed.
+) Driving with damage, If you sustain damage during the race go at a pace which will not cause you to drive erratically, you will lose more time by trying to rush back to the pits and possibly cause an accident.
