I just opened a practice session at Twin Acres in the club lobby. It will probably be open for an hour or two. Feel free to join
Edit: Track guide
1. Bonnier: This corner is sharper than it looks, in part because the road bends downhill. Brake hard and turn in fairly late to avoid running wide on exit.
2. King's Curve: This corner on the other hand is faster than you might think. It's quite long though, so don't turn in too early.
3. Kitty Hawk: This kink goes over a crest. It won't provide much difficulties, but the 427 Cobra might get a little air.
4. Fangio: My favourite corner of the track. It's situated at the bottom of hill, so you have a great view of it as you approach it. It's important to carry as much speed as possible on the exit as it is the start of a long high speed section.
5. Lotus S: A fast S-corner. The Cobra Daytona can take it at full throttle, but you need to be decisive and hit the apexes right.
6. Montgolfier: Named after the famous balloon brothers, this hairpin inflates towards the end, continuously increasing in radius. You can take an early apex and accelerate out of the corner, but be careful not to overcook it. Throttle control is vital.
7. La Scala: These corners, beginning a climb towards the stars, is kind of similar to Eau Rouge of Spa, but perhaps a little sharper. Aim for a late apex at the final turn, otherwise you might run wide out onto the grass.
8. Pinball: Two quick uphill kinks left and right. Just go full speed through, but remember to line the car up to brake for the following hairpin.
9. Galilei: At the top of the hill, this hairpin bends away from you slightly. Hug the inside of the corner and you'll be fine.
10. Sherwood: A fast slalom through the woods. The Cobra Daytona can take this section at full speed (not sure about the 427), but a bit of weight balancing might be needed. Start aiming for the next apex about one turn in advance, otherwise you'll be late.
11. Newton: For this high speed kink you'll want the G forces on your side. I doubt that it's possible to tackle this corner at full speed, but theoretically, if you hit the apex just perfect, then perhaps... To be on the safe side, brake a little before turning in.
12. Belvedere: If it was a Sunday drive, you might want to stop here and admire the view of the landscape below. This is a very tight corner, you'll probably take it in first gear. It's also slightly sharper than 90 degrees, so don't go on the throttle too early.
13. Mille Miglia: Another great view of the landscape from here. Save it for photomode
This corner is deceitful, looks like a fairly easy turn, but if I had a dime for every time I got on the throttle too soon and spun around here, I'd be able to build this track in real life. Conclusion: Better crawl through this turn as if you were driving on ice.
14. Trebuchet: This corner, named after a type of medieval siege engine, will catapult you back onto the main straight. You can take this turn at a fairly high speed.
