For Luxy:
You have to remove flat-out Mini's time of 2'57.xxx from the leaderboard because it's a hybrid, just clearing this out. Very nice idea and keep the good work :)

1:22:996
2:27:936
3:34.xxx

I have to wait a minute everytime just to see the times, i just fall asleep and forget the whole thing. Other than watching the replay is there another way to see the T times?

Here are my CLEAN polyphony 001 T times, i give anyone a pat on the back if they can run a clean half decent lap in the F1, the hilly s bends at full throttle doing 280 - 290kph, is not an easy task, let alone keeping 2 tires on the track (apart from jumping).

T1: 1:02.772
T2: 1:52.613
T3: 2:45.083

BTW if anyone has some half decent F1 times, dont be afraid to send em this way 👍

I did some laps earlier today, and made progress with all 3 of my cars (Mini, Z06, and F094/S).

My current best T3 in the Mini is a 4'02. I'm gonna run some quick laps in the F1 car now. Splits will be posted.

New splits from the F094/S: 1'02.872/1'51.492/2'43.220

I've pretty much gotten used to the car again, so now it's just a matter of refining my setup and smoothing out my driving in this beast. I figure I could easily shave 10 seconds off my lap time by the end of the week.

And to the people running modded Le Mans cars: What top speed are you guys hitting? I'm getting up to around 215mph with 790hp.

Well well well, only tried today two cars because I wasn't in the mood for driving the Evo. Here are updated clean laps

GT-One Fully Modded
1'03.435
1'57.259
2'51.671

Mini Cooper
1'39.162
2'49.164
4'01.200

It's gonna be hard for me to beat that lap on the Toyota, man I was scared at the end of screwing the lap and that could have cost me some tenths of a second. And CFM is kicking our behinds with his fast T3 under 4 mins :dopey:

I'll try and see what can I do with the F094/S, I tested it very quick this morning before leaving school and sincerely, it's a tough challenge to get a very fast lap with this F1 babe.

I really respect the dude that has the best time at this track with the F1, wow that's just plain smoking!

I don't think Luxy will be running this week, he'll be busy typing new entries in all week.
Heck, he might even have to take the week off from work. :D

Glad I passed it off to him after seeing this week! :scared:

Seriously though, great job Luxy! 👍
We all appreciate it.

Well it doesn’t look like I’m gonna a have time to run more then one car here this week so I’m shooting for a insane 4WD record.

Best T3 2’57.5 The slalom is murder tho. . and the hill section is a pisser! :nervous: The funniest part is tightest corner after the snake section. . I’m sure guys in minis will have faster sectors there then I. Basically, I have to put the car in park, get out and lift the ass over, then get back in and drive away… :dopey:
Setting the front springs higher than the rear did the trick.

I guess that's only funny if you've driven it. :dopey:

Just ran teh S.S. Trueno, full tune NA, on sports...

T1 - 1'33.257
T2 - 2'45.484
T3 - 4'00.130

I don't know how much I can run around this course... big massive turns kill me... my own weakness :D

That, and something like ADD on drugs >_<

I will try the hand brake  . The car be very fast around turns by either using the brakes and throttle full on, or precise throttle control only. . and I mean precise! Having some trouble with just the X button ATM. Be easier if I was used to the sticks. Missing rumbles is instant death with this POS. . you just can’t slide this sum***** around. “Point ‘n shoot” is the only way!

Ran my first laps on this track today, and brought out the F094/s, and came away with a 2:43 T3, with a bunch to come off. Still havn't fully learned the track yet.

Ok after some laps in the F094 I came clean with ermm, I think it was a 2:44 T3, but my car is almost at the limit of reducing the HP, so no F1 for me this week.

I gotta admit, OB, you're doing a heck of a job on that Escudo, I can't believe yours is about what, 4 or 5 secs?, to my GT-One. I myself can't handle the 4WD beast. Again, nice work 👍

T2 in the R390, cant quote an exact figure (did it 2 nights ago) well into the 1:56-57's I think, had a go in the GT1 and while T1's were similar, T2's were completely different...

F686/M

T1: 1'04.538
T2: 1'56.888
T3: 2'52.816

In a very slopy, yet somehow totaly clean run. Lots of path correction going on here. It's verry hard to use the F1's power-on oversteer on those long corners, and I just cant get my speed down for those last few roundy's. Their's much more in this car. But I dont know if I can find it.

p.s. Any word yet on weather or not we will be allowed multiple final submissions?

I think the Formula cars shoudl get there own thing... I have none :P Street cars in another, and purpose builts in another... maybe another for JGTC?

Anyhow, just ran my MR2 GT-S, full tune on T8 tires... still sliding around corners... forgot how slippery this was compared to an RX-7... but so fast... topping out at 185 MPH (Almost 300 km/h)... its a fast beast, just needs some down force :D

T1 - 1'23.809
T2 - 2'29.229
T3 - 3'34.108

And I know I have seconds to pull out of that... BUt soo many cars to run... got some more great ideas :D

When tuned, the escudo can get around corners much better. It’s also more fun to drive now. I’m down to T3 2’56.900 and can see 2’55.x coming. I’m down in hp @ 1843hp so there’s a few second left off my total I thinks.

I tried the Escudo when I first got GT3 (3 years ago) and it's serious lack of turning made me park it and never drive it again. Until recently when I was determined to get a decent time for it on Midfield. It's basically the only "fast" car I have never run there (my favorite track). I did a few searches on all the forums for settings for it and came across Doohan's thread with settings. WITH settings it is STILL very challenging to drive. I have found that challenge entertaining in some sick and demented way. Enough so to the point where I would say the Escudo is one of the best cars in the game. You must be both exceptional at tuning and a great driver. If you can harness that beast in the slight, then you are a true GT3 freak.

Hats off to you Jake for doing it on one of the most difficult tracks and graciously sharing your settings. 👍

For everyone else... you don't know what you are missing! :mischievous:

I taught Doohan everything he knows J/K. . :dopey:
We started driving the car way back when an escudo time was queried. After some time in the car I realized its full potential and noticed I could hang with cars such as the Denso Sard on many tracks, even in tire wear races.
I don’t particularly enjoy the physics everywhere, but it’s more exciting to drive than many other cars in the game. In some respects the escudo functions like a motorcycle when comparing to cars. Bikes follow different lines and are generally slower in tight turns. The difference is made back in acceleration.
Probably the most fun part about CS2 is around the hill section. I feel like I’m riding a Suzuki Hayabusa on the exiting left turn. Flat tracks are less agreeable. Tracks like Apricot hill and Laguna are more suitable IMO.

“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” The Escudo is sure one ugly duckling!

Made a few adjustments to settings and things are getting better. Did a clean lap with plenty of silly mistakes and the times I got were;

Car Poly 002

T1 1.04.376
T2 1.53.796
T3 2.48.678
👍

Alright all you fellow 'Modded Mini' drivers, I got a solid 3 hour session in tonight. This should be the run I submit this week. I had that little bugger begging for mercy by the time I got done.

1:36.856
2:46.168
3:58.030

So close to my goal of 3:57 T3, I might as well call it a day.👍
Maybe tomorrow I'll see if I can beat Flinx's arcade Mini time, looks like a tough challenge.:mischievous: Good luck everyone, whatever you're driving.

P.S. I'm looking forward to seeing Jake's Escudo run. That thing should be off tha hizzle ma nizzle.

Ran some laps in the Mini and the Z06 this morning. 4'01 for the Mini, and 3'45 for the Z06.

Considering how many times I see one name on the board... tuff240... in a row :dopey:

I need to get some time this evening... so I can do that :sly:

Almost tempted to get an Escudo now... just because... yeah :D

regarding mutliple submissions...

I'm still thinking it over.

Problem is, I am also at a dilemma regarding statistics.
That's right, stats.

Thing is...
This week (if included) will throw off the dynamic stats as well as the overall stats.

With great d1 drivers like cfm spending all that time on the mini it would be wrong (IMO) to short him on a stats page just because a slower driver spent all their time in a P001.

So for now I am really concerning myself with that problem above all others.

Now back to the other question... Multiple entries.

ATM I am really torn up on this one.

Input from all of you could be the deciding factor so please give me your opinions. :D

Till then,
-

I didn't use the Mini this week to look good on a stats page...no special results are needed on my account. I say just allow multiples entries, and list ALL the results from fastest to slowest, and only use the fastest time from each driver for the results tables such as the dynamic stats page and whatknot. Maybe even disregard the division system just for this week, since it's kind of a special event. Maybe in parenthases next to the time, just type the car info and division rank also. Say I posted 3 times for this week. Post my fastest time in the results table in red, then all my subsequent times down the list in black.Do that for each driver. That way it will be easy to read for those updating stats pages and whatknot, and will still be a nice huge impressive list of runs to look at in general. Just an idea to consider.👍

LOL ... It is starting to get a bit out of hand ;) Oh well, I don't mind. Just wish I wasn't so busy IRL this week. I'm glad you guys like it. CS is a pain because I save all the times in milliseconds (i.e. 1'00.555 = 60555 milliseconds), but after you get above about a minute and a half, it's tough to figure out the milliseconds in my head, so I have to use a calculator, which slows me down.

Anywho ...

I did step away from the computer long enough last night get about 5 laps in on the Full-mod Mini. I decided to go with that first, until I get to know the track a bit better. It's actually more fun that I expected ... a blast even :D Best I got was, with lots to come off.

1'39.738
2'50.343
4'04.107

Hopefully I'll get a lot of runs in this weekend.

Got into the F094/S, having fast laps in this car at this track is very challenging, one mistake and boom, press start, right, X, left, X :dopey:
I just did this clean one:

1'01.742
1'48.423
2'38.762

I could have made a lil better because I lost some tenths on the 90 degree turns section and also maybe a whole second on the S turns before the finish line because I still don't know what's the best way to go through them at a constant pace.:grumpy:

Till night, I'm having lunch and heading off for classes. :)
