Ok ive just made my first time submission!

I spent about 30 laps in total over the weekend in 7 or 8 lap stints to come up with these:

T1: 21.504
T2: 47.203

I've been using an ITR with hugo's settings tweaked to my style for extra umph.
I did those times when the car was at a low HP as well, i kept reloading the game each day, meaning i had to buy my ITR to compete because i have restarted the game and i dont have many credits!
I thoroughly enjoyed my first race though!

Many thanx to Small Fryz for helping me thru my first week.
And to Kent for holding the series.
AND to Hugo Boss for the settings i stole and meddled with.

Good luck everyone!

flat-out
Time submitted, in the Mini.
Even slower than back in week 77 :grumpy:

Edit :
Much slower.

I'm having the same trouble! I have seen T2s of 51.6xx, but can't nail the last corner like I did in Wk77. Also struggling to find a clean lap. Hardly had any time for this race because of a busy week, and going to Tahoe snowboarding over the weekend didn't help much either! Fun though! :)
May try to find a time when I get in from work tonight, but don't hold out much hope. Next week is a write-off too, as I'm in Florida for a meeting from Thursday thru Monday :grumpy:

I thought I'd read that you wouldn't race week 102 in a Mini since you'd already done it 25 weeks ago.
Mini addiction has gone beyond any reasonable level it seems ;)

Wow ya'll !

I spent saturday night from 1am to 3am doing this race and it was fun. :D 👍

Just now I took the time to check out some stats and to my suprise, the TRD Celica just can't keep up with the full mod integra. :(

At first I thought the celica would do fine, but then I noticed that people were posting Integra hp levels at 477hp. :amazed: lol.

So with that in mind I went and fully modified one and sure enough, 477hp without break-in.

After that I had to check the full specs page and my disappointment only got worse. :(
477hp @ 2.0 pwr for the integra
425hp @ 2.3 pwr for the celica :ouch:

Sadly, I only took the time to check this stuff out just now and not on saturday when I ran the race.

none the less, the celica felt great and managed to give me some alright times.

It still can't keep up with the integra, however, I did manage to get a clean lap. 👍
:mischievous:

It will not be a contender this week but oh well, I'm sure it will be a great lap for the celica though. :D

Ow man, I just can't wait 'till tomorrow 👍 👍

Cheers,

BTW: People JOIN TEAM TOYOTA, come on.This week we have a Trueno drift race!!

I just wanted to remind you guys that the original request I made regarding time submissions was...

Time Driver Car HP
#'##.### Name Car HP

Keep that in mind everyone. ;)

It's just nice to see everything being disclosed in a race where the car selection is so open.

My best so far, with the 98 Honda Integra Type-R (487 hp):
T1: 22.875
T2: 50.222

my ITR was about 492 i think, fully modded. broken in, but id have to check that to make sure

Time submitted, With hugo's settings, tweaked a bit, it took me forever to figure out how he was getting the gear ratios the way they were, but even after that I tweaked them a bit and got another tenth or so.

T1=21.337
T2=46.801

I NEVER, not once hit the first or second corner right, if I was as fast through there as the really quick guys I may have taken this one! 👍

the first 4 positions look tight,

1.Hugo
2.Tannis
3.Me
4.bbq0801

i think

Indeed, between the 3 of you, especially you an Tannis, its really going to come down to the last sector! Who knows i was semi-quick through there as well!

its been a good tight race all week!

flat-out

I couldn't resist it! Was going to give something else a try, but also wanted to beat my Wk77 time!

Have clean lap now!
23.996
51.651

Only 16/100ths faster than wk77 time, but faster nonetheless!
Had a 7/10ths quicker lap saved, which is much faster, but there's a definite 3, maybe 4 wheels off when I watched the replay, and I couldn't get close to it again :ouch:

Well guys, I finally made a lap to be proud about (for my point of view, at least ;) :D)

I ran a total of 5 laps tonight, and on the fifth, when I was about to give up and keep my old time that I saved, I figured out how to do the first right corner after the downhill section, after T1 👍

I didn't run any more laps after that, as I knew I would have kept pushing too hard and just ended up being frustrated.

I am happy with it anyway, almost a whole second better than my last clean lap.
Ran the analyzer on both, and I was gaining on every sector except for one or two, where a lost 0.100 seconds at a time :indiff:

I am getting better by the weeks, though... and that's a big plus.
Time in the process of being submitted...

For now, here are the 'T' times:

T1: 0'21.146
T2: 0'47.395
