Well I posted a better lap in a stock NSX-R than a tuned one!! But then I tried R390 and quit with the NSX's...lol
CasioExcuse me Mr R34, have you tried the R34 Skyline Pace Car? It's not a bad spin on this challenge actually.
Also, I can't believe I wasted 150,000 on a Mine's Evo, what a waste. It was a second slower then the Jaguar XKR....The jaguar which weights in at 1700kg!
tuff240YAY! I'll be submitting a time this week since my favorite car is legal.
T1: 38.918
T2: 1:26.093
I'm driving this, but in arcade mode.
Edit:
Arcade mode: 152hp/1701kg's
Fully tuned (285hp/1568kg's) in GT Mode it still only runs 30-31's/1'08-1'09's.

kragbeesOne thing I don't fully understand, maybe I'm just being stupid . But if you tune 2 cars to be 400HP and 1250kg, then the power to weight ratio's are exactly the same right ... and then if you put Sport Soft tyres on both, they should be even more exactly the same ... but how can one car (R390) be faster around the track than a NSX for example with the same specs ? Must be suspension or something ? Just wondering ... ??
A myriad of differences, yeah, such as suspension, torque, torque and power curves (where is the power band), gearing, CoG, drivetrain (e.g. RWD will always be faster through corners than FWD, all else being equal), engine type (rotaries are notorious for outperforming their numbers for example), tire size, I mean the list is endless.kragbeesOne thing I don't fully understand, maybe I'm just being stupid . MisterWearySurprise #4: I beat my lap around El Capitan finally
Not once, not twice but three times! My new splits aren't better than I've already posted but I'm getting around the track with some consistency now, I even hit T1 at 0'29.878 once (but promptly forgot Casio's rule about not running into mountains!)
