So far a t2 of 1'20.155

Couple of wide corners so a bit of time to come off me thinks.

Good combo Kents...

Send my sector times+average speed+speed on finish line+lap time to Kents, curious if he's gonna answer(hope it).

👍 Good to hear, but keep it to the Week 73 results thread ok?

I didn't get any significant running done tonight, shall try tomorrow afternoon, I can probably be neater, I'm trying to control lack of grip through short shifting and braking whilst accelerating atm with some 'interesting' results.

These times were all of week 73 because Kents asked it.Hope Kents will react on it,hope for a return in the series :guilty:

Just curious why? After behaving like a petulant child yesterday, dissing Kents, the OLR series, and saying you weren't bothered anyway, and your name should be removed from the list 'cos you're never coming back, that you'd suddenly appear again full of remorse today.
I think you should send your mem-card replay to Kents to avoid any suspicion, since Omero has already posted all his sector times for you to copy. FEDEX P1 overnight would have it there and back to you in 2 days.
Not enough time for you to compete this week, but enough time to clear your name and get an apology from us all if you've a genuine laptime. ;)

As has been pointed out earlier, this has nothing to do with the week 74 race. Keep it to the week 73 thread.

TS020, Kent will get back to you. Keep the time difference in mind. It's early morning for him now (if he's up at all)

Dude you don't need to bring up all this stuff in the board. It is between you and Kent and whatever happens, happens. I assume everyone else would like to forget about it and continue this weeks race without you bringing up these past events.

Read it and leak salt-water... :D

I hate this car; I hate this track right now; I can't seem to compete with this slippery thing! It's like I'm driving on an oil slick; very treacherous to the slightest misdrive. If we can get under 1'10.000 line for T2 I'd say that we should be able to pwn at the next interboards challenge...

After about 30 minutes only covering 8 laps with alot of burnout time; I pulled this:
33.261
1'21.501

There's still plenty of time to come off; but I still hate the car...

You guys are starting to get down there. So far all ive managed are low 1:20's high 19's. MT has shaved about 2-3 seconds off but my lines are terrible.

Ah, terrible lines, you're skating in my shoes then.

No improvement thus far.

Must. Beat. Blake.

I feel you man. The worst part of the track for me is the area after the long straight sometimes referred to as "the plauge" and several other areas,

Well an improvement today, I got with 17 seconds of my time with the wheel. Grrr, I'm loving the wheel but for this challenge I haven't got enough "skills" to get near my time. I think my time with the DS2 is fairly good so I'll probably end up submitting that.

Who needs traction control when you've got 3rd gear?

After a couple of sessions:

33.688
1'20.401

This is a hmm... extraordinary combo. Talk about a child only the parents can love.
I'll stick to it though, but only because I count on learning a lot from it. 👍

I can't stop topping out at 136mph and spinning out. Its crazy!

with 4 to 5 spins. These are my sectors...

Not very impressive sector times compared to the current leaders, but I did improve my final lap time by a full second in 15 minutes of lapping today, so I'm quite pleased with myself. Just have to keep the car pointed straight when hitting the throttle hard. I found the car was almost a joy to drive on super softs, but normal tires are a nightmare! It makes the Speed 12 feel like a Honda Civic in terms of driving ease!

Still getting nowhere:grumpy:. I might switch back to the DS2 for this challenge.

In theory I could knock off another 3 tenths on my run but that's about it for the moment, so I'm going to sit until on this lap for a while yet. I doubt I'll get another run that smooth in all honesty, I nailed every apex bar one and there wasn't a breath of tyre smoke on the whole lap, talk about fluke stuff.

That car is a natural drifter.

Some things it needs:
5th gear
beefier tires
brakes
"satan rules" sticker

Don't forget a modern suspension!

Ran 10 more laps, and found an extra second in the final lap time, also ran quite a few T1s in the low 33 range, and even managed to pull off a 1'19.0xx T2, over a second gained there comapred to my previous best. I'm catching up!
