Time submitted. Never came back to this, so my 1'20.401 stands. Lousy time, but I have been racing, ergo I submit.

See you next week. :)

Well, I hope you gomers had fun with the donut-mobile! ;) The few laps I had time to run resulted in times good only for a laugh. Good luck to those of you with nards enough to pull this one off, and see you all in week 75.

:)

PS - Dear Carol Shelby,
Have you ever heard of brakes, you smacker? They're good.
Love,
Capn' Geech

PPS - I kid, I kid.

This thing is exasperating.
Out of control at 50mph.

I carried too much speed into the bus stop and lost about a ½sec.

Still plugging away.

Nice combo. Love the car, especially in it''s stock form and Seattle is ok, I've grown to sorta like it over the years.

Only managed one 20min/12 lap session. I'd rather go play outside (run or skate or surf) than play video games in the summer....

T2 1'21.571, realistically I could have got it down to the low 1'20.xxxs, maybe high 1'19.xxxs if I had "one of those laps" if I spent some time on it but it was a fun combo none-the-less.

hitting the redline was sorta odd though!

until next week. The more it rains the better my times will be (more time I am stuck inside)!

Unrelated....well kinda. Has anyone in here actually ever driven a base Cobra (a vintage one or one of those neo kit cars) "in real life"? I know we have some racers on these boards. I wonder if any of the weekly racers can compare the GT3 stock "feel" to a base real Cobra "feel"?

i got a pretty bad headache right now so i could not improve all that much, and i messed up pretty bad on the last turn.
Time submitted:
T1: 32.507
T2: 1'17.566

i know i could have gotten into the 1'16 cause i saw a few 31.9 T1's too bad i couldn't hold on the whole lap. great race guys.

Same here, though for me it's softball and bicycling, plus some necessary yard maintenance. Anyway, just one session on this:

33.8 1:20.74

Hated it the first few laps, but then started having some fun with it, though keeping the rear end off the walls was a bit of a trial. :grumpy:

Results 5 minutes off. :D
Talk to you all in that thread.

Later.
btw, good racing everyone. 👍
