I know this looks like the beginning of a race... but it is in fact the finish of the first race.

I just want to say, it's AWESOME that you took a pic and edited it like this. Fantastic.

IMO the second race was 2 laps of frustrated carnage mired by impatient banging... then 2 laps of trying to settle down... then a 5 lap race could begin. Bit of a shame we followed the best race I've been in with one of the worst starts I've ever been in.

Welcome to reverse grid. That's why I DNF heat 2 on Tuesday as people that were either faster in general or had a more broken in car had to pass all slower traffic by the end of the first lap. I don't fault anyone in particular as this just seems to be the philosophy of GT 5 online, no matter how clean the room is.

Seems im missing out on great racing ill be there on Tuesday to see if i can get some points 👍

Off to a New Years Eve Party, Happy New year to all of my fellow GT5 Friends and Racers!!! Be safe and catch you in 2012!!! :)

R1600Turbo
Possible practice room open tomorrow. (or today )

Today would be perfect hardly had any running so far in the car in part from a few laps offline :tup

Drive your hangover away:

...done...

must have added new servers, I usually get 1472-6118-* never seen 4710... :embarrassed:

I can run a 17.722 without draft.
Best I could do was a 17.3 with draft EDIT: Wait, was it a 17.6? I'm not sure.
I think we can expect to see the fast guys running high 16s.

Only the alien of the aliens will hit 1:16 without a massive draft to tow you to the finish line. Best I've hit the timing lines at are 28.2, 52.1, 1:17.5
Don't think I can go any faster without a bucket of luck.

My best was 1'18.4, best sectors added together would be on the fringe of a 1'17. There's still time to be found for me, especially in the first sector. Nailing the first two corner complex is a tricky proposition at this track, very easy to make the car go sideways on the entry to turn 2 and lose valuable momentum.

I'm sure the aliens (Mav, ta, Forced, etc.) will get into the 1'16s. That's what they do, surpass your expectations.

TnjF set his brake bias to 3/4, It worked great for me. I went from 18 to 17s.

That would be a cool online series, fastest of the fast.

Thanks...Damn it!:ouch: Guess thats what I'll do next time I'm on! Gives that few extra HP on the car. EVERY bit helps in this series!👍

Oil change is worth 10HP on this car, and makes quite a big difference actually.

Break in the car too.
Enter it in that 200 Miles at Mazda Raceway B-SPEC event.
Should have 208HP after that and oil and engine refreshment.

I know, I noticed some cars were a bit quicker on the straights. Made me think I purchased a lemon!:scared: Also, my lap times were a bit off from everyone elses on here. I'll try doing some more laps with the oil change now.

;) Ehh, I have my moments :) thx for the compliment though. Through Aderrm at the top of that list. Lots of guys are sick fast in this group. A lot of times it comes down to the course, and who has it more figured out than the other. 👍

Tha-Ghost is the "Tha-man" on this track right now with 1'17.2xx. I can run a million 1'17.6'ss, but PB is still a '17.40, with a theoretical '17.1 or 17.0 on best sectors. I do believe 16's are doable with a perfection lap. But that would be FLYING.
