I have the replay actually. Will look at it in a minute.

Edit:

Lap 1 - this was kind of a chain reaction deal, starting with me and bk. Not really anyone's fault, the ricochet effect is what spun Stig.

Lap 10 - I don't see a problem here.

Lap 17 - Pro, you were a bit far back to try and make that pass. Try not to do this in the future.

Lap 18 - This type of stuff is NOT okay in my series. I don't care what is going on between two drivers, it is never okay to purposely take someone out. Deal with it after the race, not during.

Do NOT let it happen again.

I'm running a 1.06.251 as my best, with consistant 1.06 times. What you guys getting on Clubman Stage 5?

I'm a 1.05.297 after a fun practice (I like this track). I'm sure the aliens( really fast drivers ) do 04s........

I hope, I would need a major line change for 3s......

I realize that this series brought out alot of new guys due to the nature of the car, however I wasn't aware it was gonna be amateur hour. You know I've always been a clean racer and I reserve the right to react when I've been hit that many times in two races. I know its a tight track so don't try to tell me contact is going to happen. Again, I've been around for a long time so I know that.

Thanks for posting the time :). On another note, does anyone have any really funky coloured paints they want rid of? Will swap for a car if you got some nice ones! I like really bright colours & chromes.

Lap 10: I was trying to outbrake von stig.

Lap 17: I tried to outbrake von stig again.
Unless it's an enduro, and you're many-many laps into it and really good at preserving tires (or are on fresher rubber) OR running in a series with a forced ABS=off, you cannot expect to outbrake anyone. It's called a dive.

The only reason he was making a pass on the outside on the last turn is because I wanted to hit him. Look at my lap times. Make no mistake about it - I was pissed.

R1600turbo has seen the replay and don't see a problem with my move on lap 10, it was not a dive.

I agree my lap 17 move came from a bit far back, but I didn't hit u and pushed you off the track and passed u. I knew it was a mistake and I backed off.

U just admitted to purposely hitting me. If u want to purposely hit ppl, go to a dirty room. Thats all I have to say. I didn't even see you in race 1. Don't put all ur anger of getting hit on me.

I know where you are coming from, and I don't agree with some of his moves. BUT, there's no excuse for taking someone out on purpose. It might be okay in other rooms, but not mine.

End of discussion guys. This series is supposed to be for FUN. Don't take it so seriously.

I bumped you. Only once and completely on purposes. Turn 1 you stole my line while I had corner rights and kept the position. I was like oh YOU know better. Gave you a lap to release my spot and you didn't. So I gave you a lil extra push opening the door for me to drive under.

I don't do that kind thing all too often. But when I feel my spot was robbed. I am gonna take it back. LoL I also didn't mess you up anymore then the outside groove. I am super clean and have great control over my cars. Just lil off pace dang it.

You got the pass back a lap or so later and clean as a whistle. Which truly is your normal style.

Had a blast yesterday.

Do note my bump on Stig here was ever slow slightly. If he didn't know I was there he would of thought he came in a few mph faster then normal.

Blatant taking out is in a whole different league then giving a guy a slight nudge to open the door and take your spot back.

Basically Causing a guy to lose position or noticeable time by being rough or dirty is where the lines get drawn.

Laying fender on another while mid turn can be awesome. Just don't shove/push people of track. Again causing time loss and or position.

We were doing very low 1'03s in my pre-season testing. But that was on the SH tires. So I'd figure if you can get into the 1'04s on the CS tires that should be about right.

When I read you were in the low 3s, I nearly had a heart attack.

Then I read "on the SH tires"...... :dunce:
I think I can dig hard and get lucky 4s, I'm still high 5s on average.

I think I got some practicing to do haha. Just bought a headset too, testing it now. Sony Wireless Playstation one :).

Just so you know, we don't use mics. :)

Anyone know how to turn on the rearview mirror? been looking, can't seem to find it.

Rear view is only available in the cockpit/bumper views. If you use a different view, zoom your map in. (Mine is on "2")

Review of headset... not impressed sadly. Keep hearing these weird glitching noises that sound like transformers while playing online. Take them back tomorrow. It's ok in single player, but there's no point having a headset for that.

Edit: Thanks 1600. It was more for playing online in general though I got them, found I was struggling a lot. I don't think it helped that it took half an hour to find someone who would talk. Then when I found them, they were a jerk.

Just get a good bluetooth headset for your cell-phone. It will work with the ps3. I picked up a nice plantronics one with fancy noise canceling and stuff and it works great. (except then I got a puppy who likes to bark which makes it less than great; but she's super cute and the headset still works on my phone so it evens out)

I use a phone BT earpiece. I hate wearing full headphones and prefer the sound to come from the speakers. Downside: you can't turn the volume up on your speakers very much unless you want others complaining about your engine sounds. Upside: if there is too much chatter and you are trying to concentrate, you can just pull the earpiece and focus on the race.

Made the headset move at Christmas. My kids got me the Tritton AX720's. First week I was on and off with them. Liked them just wasn't used to them.

Now, I use them almost exclusively.

Draw backs. Simulated Surround. I lose some ambient noise. Tire noise, wind, bumps are all rather quiet on them.

Researched this and found the AXPRO is full Surround with multi speaker in each ear piece. This should resolve the softer sounds.

I use a full surround system. Pretty decent set up. So if you haven't used a good system or use a in the box type surround. The AX720's prob be perfect otherwise AXPRO's.

For wireless. Which is neat till your batts die. No thanks. Give me a wire and know it works 100% when I want.

Other bonus is no outside noises interfere. You can crank these stock cars volume up and actually here the revs very well. Helps me for throttle control.

Oh individual volumes for game and chat on lil remote makes it nice too.

That's my mini headset review. Used BT ear piece before with solid results. As mentioned your Stereo may be loud and interfere with others. A BT with a mute feature is awesome here. When you need to speak. UnMute. :)

Gents, can we do a quick run down on what folks are using for a driving wheel here? And does anyone have any tips for the DFGT or G25/G27 as far as setting them up in the options menu. I am just curious what folks are using (not suggesting one wheel is faster than the other, just curious.) Please share any feedback you have.

1) Forcednduckshn - DFGT - Force Feedback 8

Thx Guys.

P.S. For what it's worth, I am buying a G27 (finally) and should have in my possesion soon. I am on my second DFGT right now. Already, I feel it beginning to "wear out" a little.

Yeah, the call button on my bluetooth will connect/disconnect it nicely so if I need to chat I just hit the button. Should be something that works on any hardware even if it doesn't have an actual mute button.

2) Owens Racing - T500 RS - FFB 6-10 depends in car and track usually 8

Thx Guys.

Thx Guys.

I have never raced this car with my DFGT because if some taps me on corner entry I tend to spin or loss time in an awkward drift :dunce:

I do T/A with it with this car, I have the FF set to 7. Stock pedals. And I set the power steering to OFF, I can't drive with it on to save my life.

3) cicua - G27, FFB=1 (maybe 2 or 3 for light cars), PowerSteer=on. Anything more and much wrists and shoulders start hurting after a few hours of wrestling. G27 is really heavy, has only become slightly better after they added official support for it.

Thanks for the reviews guys, very helpful :). Does anyone want to race on gt5? Add me on PSN, just make sure you say your from gtplanet 86t series!

Only one of three i have would auto connect other two BT's had to bring up XMB. :(

Also no power steering here. It's dulls the feel to much.
