For the Eiger Nordwand – World Rally Challenge Gr.B event, would the Celica and Subaru cars from the Legends dealership be a good choice or should I stick to one of the Group B Spec GT cars?
I tried the Celica stock (normal difficulty) and I couldn't overtake a single car the whole race. Maybe it would do better with some upgrades. I didn't try. In any case, I wouldn't recommend it there. It was an easy win for me in the Mustang, though.

You think I'm going to do this nightmare again? You fool...
Believe it or not, I'm doing this all day long. Trying to get an ideal race with your 700 PP monster N2O WRX which actually is too fast and powerful for such a short and narrow track. In my book ideal would be a runtime sub 13:10 while being perfectly clean.
I failed to now ... and I think I'll soon lose my mind.

Nah mate, I think the most of it should remain private. Sry. What I can tell you is that my kids are responsible, that it's got nothing to do with sex and that it's more about sounding funny than hinting at speed in any way.
Oh, and JOE is an abbreviation of my IRL first name.

Eiger was very difficult as I expected. Oddly I had some trouble at Red Bull Ring in the 787B yet. I ran out of time and haven't raced the other three yet.

What a day at Kleine Scheidegg.

First of all i race on Hard and on a controller...

I hate the Eiger reverse and these esses oh God. You have to go on 40km/h to pass them. I tried many cars but i finally managed a 2nd place on my beloved Audi Quattro group B witl the last tune from Willow it was sticking rather well on Racing Mediums. Had to pit once but all good at last and cleared it finally... Wow the pits are also on a horrible position/place...

Also i had some trouble 😵‍💫 clearing the bac mono race on sports soft. Couldn't do it no matter what was losing grip all the time.
Everything got fixed after I put Racing Soft and managed to win it easily! A reminder that I am on a controller and on Hard difficulty.

I like Eiger Reverse.

Weirdly, and I'm not sure how, I ran out of fuel exiting the final hairpin on the last lap of my race. Even weirder still, so did the lead AI car which I'd literally just passed in the hairpin section...

Tried the Lancer at 700pp and got pretty much the same as you here. Not 100% finished with my tune to share just yet.

Congrats Alex, you've done a brilliant job again - as always.

My WRX had more power at less weight while being full stock otherwise, so results like yours always make me curious what a good setup is worth. And I begrudge everyone who has the knowhow and the will to tune his cars. 👍

My run took many attempts as I always failed being quick while completely without contact - it's been a true relief in the end.

I'm looking forward to getting another carbon driveshaft. :)
Giving a new meaning to "getting shafted". About the only thing that would be better is if the workout roulette gave the (crank)shaft.

One more not-exactly-positive thing about the upcoming Challenges; only the Eiger Norwand European Sunday Cup 500 and the Special Event are not repeats from earlier sets of Challenges. I suppose the good news is there isn't a three-peat.

Are there that many events left that they haven't used? There's what, 210 or so races, weekly challenges have been a thing for about 45 weeks, it wouldn't shock me if they're close to using every race by now (other than the chilli events that they seem to be deliberately not using).

I see my favorite track appears again 🤣 At least it is the forward version. I'm pretty sure I will get a part for a car I don't have or part I already equipped on a car that I have. Either way I will forget I have it 🤣

After watching @Sprite 's video over in the "What am I missing" thread, I tried the stock BAC on SH tires at hard race mode. I did two races, the result below's been the better one :

Reaching P5 needed some luck and AI incompetence, running the car on SH tires resembles a 5 lap practice of patience and car control.
At least I received a CRB ... proud of this !
So I headed back to the drawing board.

Running on Hard Difficulty with SH and no TC. Also upped the camber to 3.0° all round I managed a 4th. I may have hit a podium if it wasn’t for the AI hitting the breaks mid chicane which I then have to artificially slow down for!

Do you have a tune you can share? I tried the race with the stock WRX and failed, would love to try the 700pp version though.
No tune sadly. My setup was stock ( as I can not tune  ) - all I added was a high range turbo, RM tires, power restrictor and weight.
I had N2O on board but I rarely used it ( 3 or 4 times on the straight leading to the hairpins ).

@Sprite

Your latest BAC race result is quite impressive, cool ! 👍

There are 213 non-championship races in the World Circuits section, of which 21 are chili'ed races. None of those, as well as none of the championship races, have been used. That leaves 192 World Circuit races that can be used.

We have had 235 races through the 47 sets. 42 of those sets had a Special Event race (none of which has been fully-repeated), leaving 193 slots for existing events. Of those, we've had 27 repeated races (one, the Autopolis World Touring Car 900, appearing three times...in less than 6 months), 138 that have yet to be repeated, and 27 that haven't been featured (list in the spoiler)
  • Grand Valley Historic Sports Car Masters
  • Grand Valley American Sunday Cup 600
  • Interlagos X2019 Nations Cup
  • Willow Springs Historic Sports Car Masters
  • Trial Mountain World Rally Challenge Gr.B
  • Watkins Glen American Clubman Cup 700
  • Road Atlanta Gr.1 Prototype Series
  • Road Atlanta World Touring Car 600
  • Brands Hatch World Touring Car 700
  • Le Mans World Touring Car 700
  • St. Croix Super Formula
  • St. Croix World Touring Car 800
  • Lago Maggiore X2019 Nations Cup
  • Lago Maggiore Japanese FR Challenge 450
  • Monza World Touring Car 800
  • Monza Hyper Car Parade
  • Monza Ferrari Circuit Challenge
  • Sardegna (Road Track) X2019 Nations Cup
  • Dragon Trail Hyper Car Parade
  • Dragon Trail X2019 Nations Cup
  • Red Bull Ring Hyper Car Parade
  • Autopolis Super Formula
  • Autopolis World Touring Car 800
  • Autopolis Japanese FF Challenge 450
  • Fuji Super Formula
  • Tokyo Expressway World Rally Challenge Gr.B
  • Tokyo Expressway World Touring Car 600 (wet - the high-paying one)
Had all of those 27 races been used, this would be the first week of repeats, assuming no chili'ed races.

Ready to go. The MINIs and Nova will be first-time drives.

I don't mind Eiger as a track -- forwards or reverse -- but I have to say I'm getting a little tired of seeing it in these Weekly Challenges. Otherwise, the choice of events looks fun.

Parts are worthless to me. I hope for a car that I don't already own, but there are only 25 of those left and a bunch are 20,000,000 ones, so I know I won't get any of them. I'll be happy if I can sell my duplicate for more than 500,000.
