Same here, they wouldn't put a 4th race for this event to break tradition with the most weekly challenge exclusive special events, would they?
yeah they would GIF by The Hills

Done them all yesterday, it was a quick week also due to me not having that much time in the upcoming days.

1) Sunday Cup @ Lago Maggiore Centro

The Toyota Aqua is overpowered thanks to hybrid power in this tier, stock car with only look cool stuff won by a gazillion. Super boring race though, and a super boring drive.

Parts ticket didn't shaft me, I won carbon brakes for the Porsche Cayman GT4.

2) Japanese 4WD Challenge @ Trial Mountain

Stock EVO X for this one, only some Sport suspensions to close that wheel gap. Overtook Hizal after the tunnel on lap 2 and carried on to a CRB victory, definetly a more fun race compared to the previous one. This car is a beauty to drive.

3) Porsche Cup @ Laguna Seca

The Turbo S gets its revenge after last week, when I lost the race by spinning the car at the last corner of the last lap. This time the stock car won easily, by overtaking everyone's favourite Porsche rival Carrazza on lap 3. No CRB but fun race regardless, won the 150k ticket.

4) Mazda MX-5 NA Special @ Fuji

I was considering buying a stock Roadster TC for this event, but eventually decided I felt like driving my R26-swapped one. Obviously cruised to a super duper easy victory, no CRB because "150m feels too early to brake for turn 1, let's try to brake a bit further".

5) WTC 800 @ Daytona International

Taking this on in the old Skyline wasn't really a super easy task, but still it was a more than achievable victory. Instead I misjudged fuel usage and did the first stint in FM3, having to pit for fuel on lap 4 and forcing me to continue on FM6 in order to only do one stop, and also spun the car once. Regardless I didn't restart and kept on driving, and eventually finished P2 only a couple seconds behind Portilla. Can't complain, it was enough to complete the challenges.

Car ticket gave me an Alpine VGT Race Mode which I already had and sold for close to 500k.
I attempted using the Skyline on Hard Difficulty with RM tires, twice but couldn’t find the right formula. P20 both times after 2 pit stops 😂 I’ll try with top speed gear andj and MT so I can short shift.

All set. First time drives on all of them, I think (not sure about the NSX). New liveries all around, anyways.

I'm 1.1M credits away from having enough for the Alfa Romeo Berlinetta in the LCD, so I'm hoping this week's challenges can get me close. Looks like it could be a fun week.

JGTC again? That's great news indeed! Might however use the non Nismo R32 since I don't really want to tune up my Nismo S-Tune to race car levels, or might just buy a new one since I believe it's gonna be a special pick for this week's UCD. Anyways it looks promising!

I just completed this week’s challenges and while it shows that I have the rewards, I have no tickets in my garage.

Is this weekly challenge waiting until the end of the week to dish out the rewards, or, is it because I changed the time zone on my time today it is not going to award me any rewards?

I wish these special event races were added permanently some are a lot of fun and you wish to race them again. The car line up and their liveries are pretty awesome and nostalgic. And I’ve had some great battles with the AI that I don’t get on other races.

Done and dusted. Normal difficulty.

weekly-challenge-202412w1-r1.jpg

Tsukuba - Suzuki Swift Sport '07 - Aside from the aero to dress the car up, I didn't make any changes to it. I should have upgraded the tires. I couldn't quite catch the lead car and had to settle for P2. Still, got the first ticket.

Willow Springs - Ford Mustang Boss 429 '69 - I learned my lesson and upgraded the tires on this one (SS). I won, but it was a close. I only took the lead in the final corner. Like all these older muscle cars, this one could use another gear at the top end. Fun to drive, all the same. Second check mark activated.

weekly-challenge-202412w1-r3.jpg

Interlagos - Alpine VGT Race - I haven't driven this car since GT6. I love the air flap brakes. Upgraded to RS tires, but I was worried it might not be able to keep up with the EVs. Turned out not to be a problem. I took the lead on lap 5 and managed to build up enough of a gap in the twisty bits to keep the Porsche from catching up on the straights. Second ticket obtained.

weekly-challenge-202412w1-r4.jpg

Bathurst - Bugatti Veyron 16.4 '13 - I upgraded the tires to SS, which brought the PP up to 699, just one point under the limit. The car was too much. I easily got by everybody on the second lap. The biggest challenge was just keeping the car on the track. It was getting over 300km/h on the straights, but can't take a corner for anything. I had to baby the car over the mountain in first and second. Going into third was recipe for going into the wall. Anyways, fourth check mark ticked.

weekly-challenge-202412w1-r5.jpg

Yamagiwa - Honda NSX GT500 '00 - I upgraded the tires to RS and went for a run. I don't know if I've ever driven the reverse direction at Yamagiwa. I'm glad I took some time last night to practice a few laps in time trials. That second chicane is tough to figure out, with the sweeping downhill corner that suddenly tightens up. As for the race, it was a pretty easy win. It took a while to work my way up the field, but they weren't going particularly fast. Final ticket won.

The 6-star ticket gave me 500,000 Cr. Woohoo!

well this way it will need to brake again while going around the turn, and if you are too close and not paying attention, you will rear end it

the thing I can't figure out is why sometimes AI drives like the player does not exist, and sometimes it moves accordingly to what player does, feeling like the "I" of AI is doing something, while most of the time it is like playing in a replay where the player was not there at the time or recording.

there an event at Spa, don't remember which one where Kokubun, when present, turns left in Eau Rouge after the start of the race, every time... what AI is that ???

I just pretend he suffered a mechanical failure 🤣

Almost certainly the time zone change, as has happened to many others.

Okay am I the only one not getting my rewards?
No, it happens infrequently to many people.

Although we don't know why, the one thing you can guarantee will cause it (and the loss of your Daily Workout) is changing your time zone... which you probably did for the My First Gran Turismo thing, as I recall.

So it's similar to how DST results in no Daily Workout if it's the day DST starts or ends?

Kind of, except the issue with daylight savings was fixed. A manual time zone change will prevent you getting Daily and Weekly rewards for the day and week in which you do it.
I knew I would not get the daily reward and don't care about that but did not realize it would impact the weekly. I started the weekly with 3 hours remaining, but remembered part way through that I also wanted to change my system from US Central to US Eastern time zone for other reasons so did that. That actually gave me a hour less to complete the weekly reward, which I did as I really wanted the credits and the car, otherwise I might not have bothered, only to find later that I lost out.

I could have changed the time zone after completing the weekly challenge so this is really annoying.

Some good races this week.
Special event in my NISMO on RM. Easy win. It was over on lap 4.

Used the same car for Interlagos from the last time we had this race. Funny how I had to lower the EMS as I was over by about half a PP. There must have been a BOP since I last used the car. Won by 5 seconds.

Bathurst in the same car I won this race a few weeks ago. 30 second gap.

Kept it in the Ford Cosworth family for Willow Springs. on SS and under the suggested PP. Won by about 4 seconds.

Tsukuba in a project I had put on the side. It had aero, widebody, suspension ,and roll cage but nothing else. lol
Under the suggested PP by 5. The race went down to the wire v an Integra and I won by a second or so.

Pretty easy week with some fun circuits. Willow Springs and Bathurst you can win with cars way under the suggested PP level, Bathurst I was at 660 and won by just under a minute. Tsukuba also was quite easy but those cars are a fun speed for the track. VGT race we've had a few times I'm pretty sure and as usual with those races you have to have a reasonably quick car as the AI starting near the front is usually in the Porsche, Skoda VGT was an easy win with the stock RM tyres. Final race was a surprise to see given we'd already had 3 of them, made picking a car difficult as I'd already used all the JGTC GT500 cars. Decided to use a old Gran Turismo RM style 300ZX which was an easy enough win. Would love to get the Motul Pitwork Z like we had in GT4 as a car again, or maybe an R33 or newer Supra to flesh that class out a bit more.

Cars for the week:
