Exactly this is what i would expect, this rumble and vibration from the wheels. It's not in the game.
Of course, that particular Tesla had its interior soundproofing, including its rear seats, removed. Despite the descriptions in the various weight reductions, that is something not simulated in GT.

Did race 5 today at Spa and can't believe i got the clean race bonus, i crashed and went off track aleast 6 times,i side hit a few cars but nothing too hard.
Won by less than half a second on totally worn out IM's,it was an ugly race, got caught with the wrong tires twice, i used the CLK-LM,would have been an easy win without all the screw-ups,

Edit:lol, i just remembered,i took a 33 second penalty early on after the big crash... :dopey:

and I’ll do it “properly” - none of these detuned Gr1/Gr2 shenanigans.
Actually had time at home with the PS5 to do Spa, but I’ll try the remote play hour challenge this weekend ( as part of the 250 GTO grinding marathon).

The Viper and Supra were quite a bit faster in the dry but stopped at least 2 extra times. I managed to stretch out a middle stint in some sketchy worn inters. Deliberately seeking out wet patches to cool and preserve the tyres - I don’t know if that actually works in the game but I always do it.

Just a quick tip ...... the penalty system on world ....touring 800 ( Spa 60mins ) is brutal ...
I was going well 2nd at around 30mins , until heavy rain , so went off as slicks don't work in rain , and I get a 1minute .58 penalty . 😱🤬... seems way too harsh , it means doing half a lap unable to accelerate although you can still move at 5mph , great down the straights when everyone else is doing 160+ . ... Overall result is just quit , no point in even continuing. 🤬🤬

When in rain with slicks, go manual and accelerate on 2nd or 3rd gear to prevent losing the rear. Also get a good LM car that doesn't need more than one refueling stop during the race. Change to inters and keep them until the end.

Well that Spa race almost turned into a fuster cluck. Started off well in my R5. Had a little battle for a couple of laps with Igor. He kept on coming back and got argy-bargy at some point. Worked my way up into 2nd as night fell. Cruised into first and was holding to that with a good lead . I've never driven Spa at night nor a race there with pit stops. Went in for my first pit for fuel in the "middle of the night" . First hit the wall on pit entry. Had to reverse. Went for new RH because radar was still clear. Then on pit exit totally didn't know where the lines were. 6 sec penalty. That still put me in 3rd after serving it. Then a bit after sunrise while in 1st, radar was showing rain coming so I decided to go in for IM's. Waited for the rain, and waited, and waited. Radar showed it just skirting on the outside and barely moving. Damnit! Tires were wearing and I don't think they would have last for the remaining 7 minutes. So back in I went for some RH. Exited the pits now in 5th with 4th right in front of me. Overtook him and next was a backmarker who decided to get aggressive and pits me right at the start/finish line which makes me hit the wall. 3 minutes left and in 4th. 3rd was now 15 secs up. Luckily someone up ahead pitted which put me in 3rd and that's where I finished. Clean race ( but I know I rear ended someone) and 600k. Fun race but crazy! May or may not reattempt it at some point in the future. Stupid weather radar. lol

I won't be getting the all-races-completed prize this week. Started the 1 hour race at Spa in the Jag XJ13, doing pretty well, set fuel to 2 to be sure of a one-stop race. Then came lap 7, went dark and rain started showing on the radar. The thought of finishing the bulk of the race in the dark and the rain was too much for me..... skipping it and looking forward to next week!

I misjudged the rain on lap 7 and stayed out on RM. I almost quit when I crashed and got an 8.5 sec penalty. I didn't want to start over so I soldiered on to the pits for wet tires. When it started to get dry I changed to RM again and promptly went off when exiting the pits because I'd not checked the radar for an incoming monsoon...I put on all the aids to get me to the pits again for a wet tire change. After more than 3 1/2 minutes of penalties I was 44 seconds behind with 3 laps to go. I got to second on the last lap, still 3 seconds behind....and P1 pits giving me the win! I was shocked to receive the CRB!

That wasn't a race , was a freaking adventure 😂

By the way , only ignoring yellow flags you can miss CRB in THAT race , EVERYTHING else doesn't affect the CRB .

@smoothbore12 I like how you put that!
The same applies for La Sarthe 700pp and Sartegna 800pp Griding races with Tokyo being another " story " since yellow flags don't come out but has other things to say goodbye to CRB.
At least PD do us the favour to have different CRB rules in these 4 races otherwise it would be almost impossible to get it especially to rainy weather conditions that occurs random at Spa and La Sarthe.

Also this week's races become very profitable since Spa as 5th event ( guessing that someone leave that last race in order ) leaves in the bank 2.5 millions.
I wish they could keep it that way .

I used CLK-LM '98 for races 4-5 today,799pp....easy 2.6+ million...just pit before the rains at Spa,end of 7 or 8,and it rained hard twice....
same for me.....the CLK-LM......stopped just before the rain on lap 7 to put on "rain gear", which I kept on until the end......
I usually wear "inters", but the weather forecast was showing me lots of yellow spots.....

when it rains a lot, they don't wear out, a little when the rain stops, but they're still good when it comes back and right to the end....
quiet, won by a lap....

I play on "normal" difficulty ....

Stock cars I used for this week's challenges:

1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T 1 '52 / CH 2nd
Celica GT-FOUR (ST205) '94 / CS 3rd
Tesla Model 3 - one make / SH 1st
V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Special '98 / RH 1st (fuel map 6 & weather pattern with minimal rain)

60 minute race at Spa.. not possible to complete with stock tyres/stock car (unless there is a car on Sports tyres that can keep up with Gr.3s)

For this race I used a stock FT1 VGT (the one from Wievers campaign)
I started on stock (RH) tyres and pitted on lap 8 for Intermediate (IM) tyres.
Fuel map 6 all the way + short shifting & coasting at the end.

The AI decided to pit on lap 24 (final lap) and just gave me the win by a 40 second margin.

Another Menu book started, thanks for the heads up @Famine

For anyone who is looking for a car for the Spa 1 hr. race, I highly recommend @praiano63 's tune for the Ferrari Enzo '02, found here. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/praianos-tunes-settings-for-gt7.404868/post-13864211

Only thing I did is change it to RM tires. It still has plenty of grip and you can then bump the ECU up to 90 and Power Restrictor off (to 100)

The car has excellent tire wear and fuel consumption compared to the typical Gr. 3 cars that run the race. I was able to get 8 laps at FM4, with very little tire wear on the RM tires.

I lapped every car in the field for an easy win, and the car is a pleasure to drive.

So here's my selection of cars for this week's challenges :

Someday I'll get me the Copen IRL ... I simply love that sweet little bugger.

The "unavoidable" ... bought the car, raced the car, sold the car again.

My absolute go-to car ... when it comes to Japanese 4WD vehicles at 600 PP.

View attachment 1314930
A safe win for me ... simply hopped in, didn't even change the Sardegna setup.

Hadn't driven the Audi before ... found it to be a great car, and so was the 800 PP Praiano setup.

Looking forward to next week's races now. :D
Praiano's 800 setup for the RS 5 is one of my favorite 800pp cars in the game, and it feels beautiful on Spa. I only took P3 on the Neo-classic race, so I need to try another car I think - some good suggestions on this thread :)

Race 4 at the RBR is a bit of a con. I'm pretty certain the top 3 AI are not running at 800PP

Grady set a lap 6 seconds faster than mine on lap 2 albeit I had traffic and a penalty, running on FM4

I'm not sure if I could even get close to this laptime. This is the 4th time I'm attempting this and each time the AI at the front are doing insane lap times.

In this latest race I came second. Grady only finished behind me due to pitting twice in the last 3 laps  There was no rain

What a credit fest. TRULY enjoyed this weekly challenge! The 1hr race predicted no rain, so once it started training after 30 mins and i entered the pits i figured out my car didn't have intermediates 😪 started over and finished the race with a decent advantage 😎🖐️

The 1hr race predicted no rain
How do you mean "predicted"?

The pre-race weather radar shows you the weather conditions over the previous hour, showing you what happened. It doesn't tell you what will happen, although it does suggest race start conditions and - if any weather shows - what direction the weather is tracking.

Ah, i always mistook that for a weather prediction. The more you know 🤝

Did the Spa 1 hr the other night, and just as I suspected, using a GR3 is more than enough to dominate in this race. I could have easily lapped the second place car if I had paid attention and just stayed on intermediates for the rest of the race. The rain started to clear and the track began drying out around laps 12-13 and continued to dry for the next few laps so I went to RH, but the rain came back on the first lap out, so I had to pit again for inters. Ugh.

Each pit eats up about a minute of time, I had to slow waaay down on the RHs when the rain began again, and I basically idled around the second half of the last lap to eat up the time so I didn't have to run another lap, so I could have easily had 2 minutes on second place.

Regardless, what a fun and amazing race! It's not often that we get to see weather, but here combined with night and torrential rain the atmosphere was just out of this world. In VR the heavy rain started to look like sleet, and driving in standing water made for an awesomely challenging time. It was fun to constantly push traction limits and then up the pace. Driving on inters on a drying line and building back up to a good run is such a rewarding thing.

Here is the whole 1hr race (minus a few seconds at the beginning due to PS5 recording time limit) if anyone wants to check it out.

Did the Spa 1hr today, for the 2nd time in a few days, with the Mazda LM55 VGT (Gr.1), RH and Inters equipped, fuel at 6 for the whole race, rain was so light I didn't even bother with changing from RH. Pitted on Lap 19 (the Mazda can easily give you 20 laps), got a new set of RHs and added fuel for 4 more laps. At the end, I had lapped everybody twice. Easy money 1.5M for clean race, plus the 1M from the ticket. Definitely worth it.

I used the 787B too. Turned out to be super boring because it dominated the field. I lapped about half of them too! 😴

I found it not bad at all .
Usually at these weekly races am aiming to take the CRB and am dealing with them as a new griding opportunity , if i want to give my self " trouble" they are many ways to do it 😂
The " Max verstappen " effect doesn't bother me at all especially when isn't a time race .
