Not at top driver, but I get silver on 95% of the two-week races, so I never have issues with the weekly's. But this F1 race got the better of me. I tried it on hard, normal, and easy and lost every time. I tried FM3 + RH + no pit, and FM1 + RS trying to pit on lap 7 like the AI does, and still no success. It's also just terrible how the AI will outrun you no matter what time you get. I'd run a 1:28 and the AI would run a 1:27. Same race if I run a 1:27 they'll run a 1:26. Insane really. As I usually do in this situation, I cheated for the win, and will go back to it when the perfect tune/strategy is figured out. No earthly reason a weekly race should be this hard.

At least give me a chance, let me qualify. But no, GT sucks. For a game that touts how much of a racing simulator it is that won't give you the chance to qualify with an F1 car, I'm just LMFAO. Simulator my arse.

So the next special challenge - 205 or Unimog?
I know which one I'd rather have. I'd even drive it round the evil Nord.

Horse Thief Mile, Unimog, 20-car grid, Rolling Start, 25 laps.
Horse Thief Mile mentioned.

I know it's kind of a meme circuit in this game, but for a lot of the slower cars in this game the track is very fitting.

It also has a very unique way of destroying your shoulders for wheel users

the "easy" solution to the F3500 race @ monza:

1. Learn to cut the first corner with full speed(maybe lift off when wheel on grass a bit), avoid those cones, could make your fly if hit, dangerous. Should be easy to avoid hitting AIs at that speed.
2. You'll get a 4.5-5.0s penalty by cutting the corner, but clean track to race with, and should be easy to do 1:28-1:30, good enough to win.
3. During penalty time, stay to the right side of the track, keep off the racing line. You don't want to loose time being hit by overtaking AI, let them go, we will win.
4. Tire, use RM, soft will wear out during last lap, regardless of taking less corners.
5. Fuel Map 2-3, mostly 2 should be just okay, 3 will give you some punch (turn to 1) in the last 3 real laps.
4. NOW, strategy, cut first corner from lap 1, you'll be ahead and behind the leading group, with +/- 5s interval. Until they pit on lap 7, we don't pit, and that will give you a easy 5s+ lead, stop cutting the track. Hold your lead for 3 laps, and it'll be a relatively easy win.

Man the snow event and the F1 event was really fun! After driving the F3500-A I really wish we got each era formula one race car.

Picked and dressed.

Already gave that Abarth a try at Red Bull Ring, which is why its PP is higher than stock. Had to do some upgrades to win that one with this car.

Nice to see that the tickets are all cash, too. I'll take that any day over roulette ones.

For the first 'challenge' (Red Bull Ring Short), we can use any Road Car with no other restriction......? Also for Gr.B, we can use Gr.B Road Car (with racing tires) too?

My version was similar.

RH + FM3 + no pit

1. Cut the first corner full speed (5 second penalty)
2. Cut the second corner will full throttle lift (2.5 second penalty)
3. Stay to the right in the penalty area.

Rinse and repeat running 1:27 to 1:29.

If you're on EASY you'll win by 30 seconds. If you're on NORMAL you'll win by 7-10 seconds. If you're on HARD you still won't win...even if you mimic the AI's RS + FM1 + pit on the 7th lap.

It's a fixed race that only the top players can beat correctly, or someone gets lucky.

Interesting week thanks to a few new things, and a really fun Gr.B race. Sunday Cup Classic could use a little balancing, if the 356s start up front you need a reasonably fast car, if they start near the back they'll get stuck for a lap or two and you can win in much lower PP cars. I liked the weather and time of day though. American Sunday Cup wasn't great just because I hate that version of Grand Valley, made even worse by it being in reverse. Turbo Sportscars is a good combo, lot of stuff you can use and just a fun track to drive with cars around that pace. The 205 race was good fun as the AI isn't that fast so you can bring a completely stock car which is really enjoyable to throw around there. Final race was the highlight for me, I really like the Gr.B cars on tarmac and around Trial Mountain the NSX was an absolute dream. Very easy race ultimately due to the AI being so slow on a few corners and using way more fuel than they need to but I was having so much fun driving it didn't really matter. Tyre wear is brutal, only could do 5 laps on RH but the fuel will last a long time if you switch from map 1 to 6 when you're at high RPM in 6th.

My lineup when the races go live for me, I sense a ridiculous good time in the Unimog incoming. Also, that 205 is the second one I bought as I wanted to create my own Rallye and thankfully, managed to get the exact Horsepower and weight numbers (Something I tend to struggle with when doing my car builds)

From all races what make the difference for me is Alsace with that very good brand new 205 .
Very good " base " to invest making it even better .

As about Unimog is an opportunity for everyone to extend his imagination making crappy things interesting .

I chose 205 and I'll leave Unimog in wonderland for another time ( perhaps) .
Difficult times for experiments right now 😂
