Some excellent racing tonight as always. I had a look at the two bumps we had in the last race Sag. The first one it looks like I understeered a foot or two and pushed out a bit off the line. The second one it looks more like you cut across my front towards the apex of the corner. In fact, the front of my car slid to the right (towards the apex) a couple of feet from the impact. I thought at the time both were must minor contact but PD must have did something with the weight differential because while to me they just felt like a little bump, it was obviously a little more catastrophic for you...lol..sorry about that.
I echo Track's thoughts too Ferrari. Find a car you are comfortable in, that you can push hard and still have good control of. Anything that oversteers a lot for example, is going to lead to inconsistency and often a shunt under pressure, and there's usually pressure on you from start to finish in Parity Racing....lol. Cars that are more neutral in handling usually will do well.
When it comes to qualifying, you have to remember that the PP targets are kind of artificial and we don't really pay attention to them. Stuff that doesn't affect PP can really affect lap times, like drivetrain upgrades, custom tranny's, LSD's etc. A fully tuned and a stock version of the same car may run the same lap times but the tuned one could have a much lower PP because of the upgrades that don't affect it's PP level. Some guys prefer stock, some tuned, you have to find what works for you. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it.
