I have an idea I'd like to throw up just to mix things up a bit. Since we've changed things up from no tuning to tuning and from alternating MCRC and VCRC cars to anything goes I think this suggestion fits right in with that trend.
Ready? Now don't freak out...lol. How about keeping the same track back to back as we do now, but changing the lap time targets and tires from week to week, to mix it up a bit. What I'm thinking is along the lines of this:
Week X: Nurb GP/D Target Time 1:39.5-1:40.0 Tires SS (a fast 450pp SS time)
Week X+1: Nurb GP/D Target Time 1:49.5-1:50.0 CS Tires (maybe a 400PP CS time)
Don't focus on the actual target time I just made them up for example purposes. My thrust is more along the lines of running the same track twice as we do now, but being able to have a slower week and a faster week back to back, for a little more variety in tires, cars and overall speed.
This way if someone isn't too keen on the faster cars, it's followed the next week by the slower cars instead of having to wait perhaps 5 weeks for the slower cars to roll around again. You could keep the times roughly 50 pp apart for example and one week to 500/450 then 400/350 then 600/550. At some tracks like Autumn Ring Mini, perhaps a tighter spread in terms of PP would be more appropriate. No hard and fast rules, you can tailor it to each individual track.
Whadda ya think?
