Houston, we've got a problem. My GT3 disk went berserk and refuses to work (must be the stress cracks from 2 years worth of playing...) so i'm not sure if i'll get a lap in or not, depending on when i can replace it. Bummer, i had just gotten myself a Sharkport and was eager to try the Diablo.

Yeah, actually the xport is just part of the process.
How it works is, the xport will let you copy game data files (garages) to your pc as a saved file.
Then a download you can get from one of the members here at the gtp, called mks gt3 garage editor, will allow you to open your garage file with a program that can do anything with any of the cars.
It list every part and with that, every part can be replaced with any part from any other car. This program will also allow you to put one car in a garage spot instead of another.
What I do is buy a car that is crap, then replace it with the car I want...
The editor will also let you put in all the money you want, up to 900+ million dollars.
The main thing of importance that the xport can do is replay transfer...
You can save your best lap and then download it to the pc, then to the net. Then we can dl it and confirm your time... if you plan on racing with the weekly for any time, I would suggest you get one. They really are the best and help a ton.
btw, when you put up a replay, it also removes any doubt about your times, and that is really important if your planning on racing at the top level.
good call, i've hardley run ne clean laps, looks like i'm gunna be handing in a pretty damn average time(scince i only have like 3 choose from )o well i geuss i'll just keep tryingOriginally posted by IDAFC21
track w/ walls + high powered race car = little patience for me.
I think im just gonna hop in a civic and enjoy the sights.
Do you have any clue of what times the F1's can do on this track? I'm at a 1'07.6 with a F094/S ( Poly 001 ), and I'm nowhere close to the faster drivers which are under the 1'06 mark... So please do not say you can get times comparable to the F1's. Only track where the F1 can lose is Test Course.Originally posted by Jpec07
My advice, take a few runs in the vertigo, so you can get used to the course in a car that normally would kick the Zonda's butt. Then, get in the Zonda and try your hardest to tune it to handle just like the vertigo (using Max E's settings for the vertigo, of course). once you do this you should be running times comparable to those you would obtain in an F1 in no time.
Yup 👍 I'm PAL and my Xport v2 works like a charm (Which is why I only 728 million creds left)Originally posted by bushtrees

Speaking of road cars I found the C12S to be the best on this track if you can handle it decently. RGT a close second. Speed12 and XJ220 were just too slow. Didn't try the Espirit 350 though.
