ok, i edited all of my posts to "..." in light of the fact that Mr P. tapped the brakes, my view on heinrich's sector time has changed.
while i still am personally quite sure he mowed the lawn, the evidence no longer merits a conviction beyond the shadow of a doubt.
i too merely lifted through the s turn on the 5th sector. i flamed through it though and still was not as fast as heinrich's 5th sector even though i went into it faster.
HOWEVER, this does not mean it was impossible to pull the time in the sector that he did. had i been aware that Mr P. had tapped the brake, i would have gone about it differently, and without the benefit of my own replay, his were the only sectors to go off.
now just so it's nice and sparkling clear, i STILL think he cut the grass there but now instead of 100%, i'm only 50%. he could possibly have just gotten lucky and gone through the sector as fast as humanly possible. i just don't think that's what happened. i THINK he mowed the lawn.
but thinking and knowing are two different things, that is why i have changed my stance i heinrich's run.
for the record, here is a comparison of heinrich's sector 4 and 5 on his run and mine from my 1'41.177 (which actaully appears to have the tiniest off on the inside coming out of the kink at the top of the hill):
sector 4: H - 5.666, M - 5.590
sector 5: H - 5.600, M - 5.731
in comparing heinrich's run with mine own, again there is a considerable disparity between our sector 5 times. i did not hit the brakes slowing only to a minimum speed of 147 mph wth full throttle after the lift (which reduced my speed only 6 mph) i screamed through after doublessly going in faster than heinrich (as indicated in his 4th sector time). while i find this doubtful and still believe there was an infraction on heinrich's part, this now falls short of proof in my opinion. i is no longer a smoking gun and i'll only move forward with a smoking gun.
