Did you actually read his post? Jay wasn't questioning the physics system at all, he was just saying people voted for realistic physics because that's important to them, not something they think needs improving. After all, you asked us what's important, not what needs improving. So then, I ask you - based on what we have seen of GT5, what is wrong with the physics system? Does it need to be improved from the demo we have seen thus far? We can't debunk the new physics system until we have played it ourselves - hence the poll and why these things [before the game's release] are important to any of us.

As for me - realistic physics are important to me because GT has been about proving a realistic driving experience for a large range of vehicles. I also voted for cockpit views on all vehicles, because it wouldn't feel right to have some cars with cockpit views and others without.
You miss "Anything that PD delivers is most important to me" option.
1- Realistic Physics
2- True-to-life Sounds
Realistic physics is definitely the cornerstone of the GT experience, but the sound needs to rise to the bar of professionalism that the physics set. After that, it would be internal damage, cockpit views, accurately mapped unique tracks, and then modeled damage.
If I could run up and down a track in a monster of a car and hear the rumbling roar properly, I'd never leave my TV.![]()
