Solid Lifters, everything you put in this thread looks amazing. I absolutely love those chips.

Taking a page out of Solid Lifters' book :D. These oddly taste better than the non-Baked variety to me.

Craving some goat cheese and italian lunch meat stuffed into a stick, like breaded zucchini.

Despite what I was enjoying yesterday, arguably the same thing, but made in the factory, is simply not as good.

They have a decent amount of kick (along the lines of 1st Degree Burn, for any that tried those) but the flavor department is lacking. Of course, they'll still get eaten. :P

I haven't seen those before, and I get free chips out of the back of my girlfriend's dad's truck (he drives a Frito-Lay delivery truck :sly:), they just have to be a day or two out of date. They make some weird flavors.. Those Doritos sound okay but others were just out there.

Racedude, is that easy to get over there, and it what form? Premade? Or in concentrate?? It's not easy to get here - and expensive when you can find it. Sarsaparilla Root Beer is so awesome - plus its good for the health!
There are stores in downtown Toronto, though, that will carry stocks of root.

It is rare to get anything else here than the stuff Coca-Cola and Pepsi produce. Even vanilla soda, and specially root beer. It was canned, so I guess from concentrate, and so stupidly cheap (about US $0.25), I don't even think it was real sarsaparilla. A shame, though, because I love sarsaparilla. At least it tasted like it. I also agree with you in that sarsaparilla is the best kind of root beer ever.

PS: I thought you Canadians had lots of it.

Just cooked some kangaroo fillets with a salad and some lime soda.

Cooked it a bit tough though but my fault.

Haha mite try a kanga wrap like the steak one a few posts back.

I'm curious... How does kangaroo taste like? Is it any good?

My opinion, when you cook it the smell isn't the best, and you have to eat it medium rare orelse it is tough. It's more of a meaty strong flavor, I'd recommend it as one of the best meats to eat due to nutritional value. But spmetimes you just wish you were eating a steak or bacon :)

Just had a Subway footlong and a Dr. Pepper. If Jersey Mike's wasn't so darn expensive I would eat there everyday.

Just had some sockeye salmon grilled over cherry wood chips, as well as grilled sweet peppers and grilled watermelon. The watermelon loses some of it's sweetness when grilled, but since it was also smoked, it has a great woody taste to it, as well as an almost citrusy-sour note to it.

EDIT

Just had another piece of grilled melon, with a brown sugar glaze... Ooooooooooh, damn it was good. Dessert is always good warm with something cold on it(put raspberry sorbet on top, yummy.)

Snacking on some Lavash from costco. It's SO GOOD. It's right next to the tortilla chips and pita chips and stuff.

Just had today two sets of hamburger and fries.. Earlier, I grilled the burger (seasoned with Montreal Steak Seasoning from McCormick's) on the George Foreman and had some Frozen Crinkle cuts that I baked in my toaster oven. After, doing some laundry and some minor shopping, a quick stop at White Castle to get two Bacon Cheddar Burgers, fries, and drink for less than four bucks. :D Mmmmm Bacon.... --- Randy ;)

Cool! You've got it good, all I've got as entertainment while working is my phone :)

Trying Finlaggan scotch. Hugely smokey but quite good and a bargain ($18 for a fifth).

Drinking an Alaskan Amber Ale. I haven't had one in a couple of years and it's as decent as I remember it to be.

Is that an Islay single malt?
