A friend of mine mentioned this to me a couple nights ago. I have never heard of it and decided to try it out. It was fun to make and turned out delicious!

Dinner was leftover chicken cordon bleu, sweet potato and white corn on the cob.

Had a snack with the Booger Machines, when they came home from school, of tortillas and the last of my famous jalapeno avocado dip.
 
Last night we had pan-fried and herb crusted Hake with my Mrs AT's fantastic asparagus and parmesan filo tartlets.
 
Brunch was an onion bagel with chive and onion cream cheese and a can of tuna.

Dinner, since I wasn't hungry or willing to cook, was whatever the boys made. Big Booger made ramen noodles, without the season packet, with a can of pork and beans. Since he didn't finish it, I ate the rest for dinner with the last 1/2 cup of coleslaw. Reminds me of my college days.
 
Being a great happy mood today - even if its bad for me (because of type 2 diabetes) eating a few Oatmeal Creme Pies, about 4 of them.

that sushi looks so good, my mouth is watering....

for now I'm eating some baked chicken and potatos with vegetables (green peppers, red peppers, onion, tomato), and some salsa (more red and green peppers, avocados, tomatillos, and jalapeños lots of them - fresh ones not from the cans)
 
Lunch was a pickled beef tongue sandwich with duck fat roasted potato salad at The Sybarite Pig in Boca Raton. Freaking delicious. Washed it down with 5 Golden Rings ale from The Bruery and had their Oaxacan bar for dessert. Man, that was good too. It's like something between a brownie and a fudge bar with some ancho chile and other spices, topped with salted caramel with a side of rum caramel and applewood-smoked sea salt.
 
Had Red Baron's "Best" and n iCehouse. Now sippin on some Bkack Crowb. Gotta love the 6% ABV from one if the big 3 beers. As for the pie, pretty freaking tasty for a rising crust pizza! Normally I don't go for "Supreme@, it was all the store had of that model, err flavor. I like meaty pizzas. Black Crown isn't bad considering who makes it. At least they are trying to make a decent beer. Some Bell's Two Hearted Ale would be preferred.

Trying chicken Madras for the first time. It's a wee bit hot, but not much more than any other curry I usually eat.

How a 200 calorie late night sandwich snack turns into 725 calories!

Bread = 50 calories x 2
Low Sodium Ham Slice = 25 calories x 4

Total = 200 Calories

Seems sensible enough, but...

New loaf of bread. Can't use the first two slices! They're oddly shaped or too thin to use for a sandwich. Eat them plain. 100+ calories

Have to eat an extra slice of ham as a pre-sandwich snack! 25+ calories

While I'm at it, some swiss cheese will go great on a ham sandwich! Three Slices = 300+ Calories

Well, if I had a slice of ham as a snack, why not a slice of swiss cheese?! 100+ Calories.

Total = 725

I. Need. Help. :(
 
Went to an outdoor event yesterday and guy I know who's Mauritian had a food stall there - so it was free Mauritian beef curry for me! :drool: Ate way too much so skipped dinner.
