Smoked ribs at 10:30PM on Wednesday, had the ribs for lunch. Dinner was at Outback Steak House and then a fireworks show in town. Before dinner, Despicible Me 2. Funny movie!

So, no pic of the dinner, but I got a shot of the ribs. A little too 'crispy' but wasn't burnt, though it looks it. That's concentrated smoke!!! Very smokey, crispy, juicy good!

A couple of skin grafts and that will turn out fine. :P

I saw Despicable Me 2 last week - good movie, just not as good as the first.

As for me, I made Salmon and lemon garlic cous cous roasted in individual parcels.

Yeah, the ribs were too crispy this time. But, were still juicy and good. Extra smokey, this time! The smoke ring was so large, there was no ring! It was smoked 100% way through!

How did you see DM2 a week ago when it was released on the 3rd? It opened early for you guys? Funny, I thought it was released first here in the USA? I loved it! I liked it every bit as the first one.

Must have been released earlier here. We went last Saturday, I think it opened on the Friday.

Brunch was dinner leftovers from the 4th. Outback Steak House porterhouse, bloomin' onion and butter bread.

Dinner was leftovers, of sorts. Leftover smoked beef rib with Dutch potato salad and pasta shells and cheese.

My 3rd plate of Nachos. One after taking nap, had some before going to work, and had my 3rd 2 hours after getting back from work.... the only thing I miss [not food related] was not wearing my Beavis & Butthead t-shirt.

Made a beef chilli on Saturday which was way too big so I'm finishing off tonight.

Yesterday I made a huge BBQ for some friends and family including smokey chicken wings, chilli prawn skewers, Aberdeen Angus burgers, chorizo spirals, lamb kofta kebabs, corn on the cob, greek salad and my personal highlight, beef ribs. Oh, and plenty of cider! :D

That's not chili! Now, this is chili!

No beans and not a single tomato!

Had a late brunch with the boys. Burritos with hot bean dip, and the works. They have water polo games and we'll eat dinner afterwards.

Diabetes? :P

OK, OK, I made a chilli con carne. Better? ;)

Tbh, that was literally as everything had been thrown together and it didn't look so chunky after it's 3 hours or so of simmering.

Actually, mine is a chili con carne. Your's is more like a chili-veggie stew. But, I know I'm being ridiculously over-critical.

It does look great though! That's something that would go great with biscuits or even better yet, cornbread. 👍

Had a late dinner that Big Booger made. Another one of those damn 'Cheesy Skillet' things the Boogers love so much. I only had a little bit. Can't stand that stuff. So, a lot of leftovers for them for dinner tomorrow. It's going to be too hot to eat and make somthing, so their set.

Stuffed paprika in tomato sauce. Stuffed with pig meat, not maggots (In case you didn't know). I already sent the manufacturer of that canned food a *really* nice E-Mail, I can't wait for the reply.

I had 5 in about 6 minutes. That was only last night.

Hmm. I read a thing on the slaughter houses that house those pigs. It's enough for me to stop eating bacon.

Knowing the hygiene standards of the whole freaking food industry would make die from starvation in a matter of weeks. Ignorance is bliss.

A mixture my grandma made of left over ground beef. Potato, added vegetables. I'm eating with a mixture I made of blue cheese dressing and horseradish sauce. Washing it down with diet coke.
