Last night was a NY Strip steak sandwich with sauteed mushrooms, cheese, and spicy muffaletta mix.

This morning it's a glass of milk.

Won't be trying that again soon.

I find most drinks in steel cans unbearable.

Moreso when they essentially fill it with cold, still, unsweetened tea. Not the worst taste imaginable, but it's probably the least refreshing thing I've had from a can.

I've got a beef curry concoction brewing in my new slow cooker, and it should be ready in about 2 hours... I've added three bird eye chillis to it, plus some other spices and a tiny bit of ginger, and I just tasted it... man, it's going to be a hot one - the Met Office will probably need to issue an Amber Warning for wind in the Greater Glasgow area tomorrow morning.

Philly Cheese Steak Pizza. I added the green and black olives just to try something different. This was way better than I ever expected. Delicious!!! I will be eating many more of these for sure. The pizza was only $4.50 and cooked in about 12 minutes.

For breakfast today.

Some militant eggs (Shot me in the neck with hot oil), fried, solid and crunchy yolks.
Toast.
A cup of lemonade.
Two Jolly Ranchers.

Frying two eggs at the moment. Going to eat them. Also going to eat a carrot and some chia seeds.

A few minutes ago, I turned over the eggs and some hot olive oil splashed on my hand. It was hot.

Cold streaming water was the cure. It's not hot anymore.

Got some 85°C water over my left hand today. This happened after I almost burned my right hand while turning over eggs.

Eating cheese with jam on at the moment.

Today's lunch, ok I guess.

Followed the directions on heating it up and it still exploded in the work microwave. Didn't lose much of it though.

Oh God... are they repackaged Hot Pots? If so, you're lucky to be alive

Supposedly it's Campbell's own brand of chili. It was ok but not very spicy.

I get this stuff all the time except I usually get the regular can, heat it up at home and put it in a thermos. These cups/bowl were on sale so I thought I'd try one. Not doing that again.

Lucky the lid stayed on when it exploded or I'd still be cleaning it up.

Never had those soup cups explode on me.

Remove lid, remove seal, place lid back on, head for 50% of time, stop microwave, remove lid, stir soup, put lid on, microwave for time remaining.
I follow that guide and never fails me, but it may one day since not all microwaves are the same but mine is a 1Kw.

I started eating dates again. I forgot how good they are.

I've not had a date in ages.

:(

Whoa! Olive overload! Surprising to hear it was so good - I like Philly Cheese steak, and I love pizza, and I like olives too, but it's a weird combo... also, I would probably have about 1/4 of the amount of olives (i.e. I'd use chopped olives as opposed to whole ones), but I'm intrigued as to how that might taste... fortunately I have a superb Italian restaurant near work, and a handmade calzone with ham, mushrooms and black olives is my usual Friday lunchtime treat.. If I replaced the ham with beef, and replaced the mozzarella with a different cheese, perhaps it would recreate this quite well... :)👍
