Suddenly this makes sense. I haven't eaten like that since I was in college. And that was because after alcohol I could only afford Ramen.
Or not. I eat Ramen pretty much every day for lunch and I lost 10 pounds last time I checked since leaving home.

Yes I am British and work in stone and pounds for body weight. Problem? :P

I think as a general rule the Asian brands that you only find at your international food shop are most often healthier than things like Supernoodle.

With the eggs and chicken the whole gut busting meal comes to about 650 calories. It cost about $2.41. I don't like it because it is cheap. I like it because it is awesome!!!

I spend $7.99 for a bowl of crawfish pho at my local Vietnamese/Cajun fusion restaurant and it is delicious, but I really think the ramen is better tasting.

Exactly! Smirnoff is horrible stuff, because they no longer make it 100 proof like it once was. Well, they do, they just put it in a different bottle and charge you a lot more for it. OK, that his 'harsh' because it is good vodka.

The best vodka made, is made right here in the USA. In Texas, of all places. I'm not kidding! I'm a man who knows his vodka!

Actually, this is the best vodka...

Decided to try the Subway Flatizzas and to my surprise they are actually very good and very cheap! 2 for $5.00! And you can put on ANY toppings you want. I went with pepperoni, green peppers, black olives, and tomatoes. :) But you can put on ANY toppings. I still personally think Subway is THE best place to get fast food. Especially the $5.00 foot long.

Put some little marshmallows in that and I would be in alcohol comfort drink heaven.

I used to do whiskey infused cherries for the wife's Manhattans. Just took up too much time for an occasional drink.

To enjoy St Patrick's Day I made Irish Beef Stew over Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes.

As it only required half a bottle of Guinness, I had to decide the best way to deal with the other half. I mean, I could just drink it, but that's only half a beer. So, I felt that in order to stay Irish, and due to my local grocery's choices in Irish beer, the only thing to do was make a Blacksmith.

Half Guinness, half Smithwick's, all good.

Two for $5.00, I'm there.

@FoolKiller

You are right. The sodium content for that Ramen noodle meal is through the roof.

Nearly 2.7 grams. Over 112% of the FDA recommended daily allowance. In one meal!

I love it, but I will spread it out, and certainly won't eat it twice a day - anymore.

Doritos both the nachos and the salsa. They are on offer in Tesco £1.20.

Yes I know it is full of salt.
