Lunch was a lovely Francesinha:

Pineapple moonshine margaritas.

About to throw some sweet Thai chili chicken thighs on the grill with some sweet corn.

Woof! :)

Solid - now I got to go looking for those pizza pringles; need to crush them over my cheese pizza.

Breakfast today:

About as boring as it gets; Vanilla yogurt, blueberries, and honey.
What I wanted was a huge steaming dish of bacon and eggs, hash browns, grilled tomato, toast, marmalade, orange juice, coffee . . .

Got to have it soon. Must fire the cook first. This health-kick is killing me.

Why can't I like more than once. If I am ever on the left coast again, I will make a point of going to In 'n Out. Looks to me to be the best burger chain in the country -well except for White Castle.

edit: I can't stop staring at this burger!

@Solid Lifters, is that a Thousand Island like dressing I see, oozing out from under that awesome tomato slice?

It's a very sharp but awesome tasting 1,000 Island like sauce that the In 'N' Out like to call "spread." They also give out an extra packet of it when asked. Fantastic stuff!!! Best burger sauce of all time, IMO.

Oh, there are In 'N' Out Burger joints in Texas, now!!! Four around Austin area, one coming soon in Killeen and about a dozen and a half around the Dallas area. http://www.in-n-out.com/locations If I were you, I'd venture out to find one while in one of those cities.

McDonalds Brazil Burger.
Seems the UK and US does not get it

A tender beef patty packed with beans, corn and capsicum. Add the tangy tomato salsa and soccer ball bun and you’ve got a goal!
Is what maccas say about it but it is quite nice.

Had this for dinner last night:

Stir fried noodles, steamed baby bak choy and whole shrimp dipped in soy sauce.

The Australian one is good aswell! I had it Saturday night.

Was very tired all day. Didn't do a damn thing but rest and watch F1 and Indy 500. Made a frozed dinner. It was so horrible, I had to add cheese to it. It was still bad, so had to rinse my mouth out with Cookies 'N' Cream ice cream.

For dinner I had curried rice with chili sauce and soy sauce and salmon. It was actually really nice. Almost ended in disaster though after my mum asked me why I need to open a new bottle of chili sauce and why couldn't I use the open bottle of sweet chili sauce.

Yep. My first In N Out Burger experience was somewhere in the Dallas metro area.

Why have you waited?
That is a fantastic question to which I have no good answer. Usually I go through a gallon a day in the summer and a bit less in the winter but for some reason I just haven't brewed any since I moved. Problem solved today, though!

In a pinch, even McDonalds has some.

I was PLANNING on having some of those overly processed, rib shaped blobs of meat that are frozen in entirely too much BBQ (so damn tasty) on a bun (ie - homemade Ribwich) but my kids had other ideas and ate all 6 of them. Now I think I'll hit the wife up for picking me up a burger whilst she's out shopping...

And I'm on my fourth glass of tea. :D

I had a tofu curry.
I don't understand why my mum hates tofu. The meaty firm stuff isn't great but soft and silken tofu is lovely.

Memorial day dinner. Ribeye steak, rice, bell peppers, and fresh mushrooms. Seasoned the steak with a little Mrs Dash. Cooked in George Foreman grill for 12 minutes. Still one of my favorite meals and it was on sale. Chased it with a few bottles of Oberon.
