Have you ever had eaten rabbit?

Also, like duck, when you grill its little head the tiny brains turn to pâté and make an excellent, if rather small, treat to put on bread or a cracker.

Pig brain isn't my cup of tea but I don't mind the smaller animals' brains providing I've cooked them myself in the skull.

@Touring Mars, I'd have said the same thing before I lived in China, but sometimes when you're absolutely plastered on cheap whiskey and the only place to eat is a BBQ rabbit vendor you start to experiment and sometimes find something you like. ;)

I was expecting that.

Today was boiled codfish (ours is different from the rest of the world) with boiled potatoes, cabagge, chickpea and eggs and then garnished with olive oil. Sublime

Chicken tikka sandwich with Jalapeno Fire Doritos, two of my birthday chocolates, mug of coffee and a pint of blackcurrant and apple squash. That does me for lunch.

I just had smoked sprats for the first time.

They tasted very similar to sardines, but I think they have a meatier texture.

I liked the small size of these. I hate peeling back the lid on a tin sardines to find four giant dry tasting fish.

I just had a handful of bacon flavored Pringles. Never again. The after taste remined me of eating charcoal ash. Horrible.

I have to agree. I want to believe these things taste like bacon, but nothing has come even remotely close. The two worst things I have ever tasted were bacon flavored. Vodka and these chips. I am cringing just thinking about them.

Bacon flavour vodka can't be as bad as Tesco value vodka. That stuff makes me throw up after one mouthful.

Oh god. My wife bought me a bottle of it. I had it for weeks, dreading it. Finally, after a few beers, I got up the courage. One shot and I never tried it again. It was worse than you can imagine. She kept it and loved it for bloody mary's. But that's the only way she would drink it.

Haitch, it's so much worse than any cheap vodka. It was far worse than the $5 750ml bottle I once bought.

Pro tip: If it is a normal food/beverage product that has been "bacon flavored", kill it with fire and run. @Chrunch Houston is right, just buy bacon instead.

I don't know guys, bacon salt mixed with some ranch dip works pretty good. I also use it when I cook green beans.

The new thing I want to try is a bacon olive oil that I just found out a store in Louisville carries. That could really allow me to stick to my diet while still getting a bacon taste. I'd use it for grilling, marinades, sauteeing, everything if it tastes good. So far the oils I had a chance to try were good.

@Chrunch Houston Apples and pork is a way to prevent the meat drying out. The pork chops in that recipe, if made using loin chops, don't need a knife to cut. It comes out fork tender.[/USER]
