Are they really that bad? I mean i though Ketchup Chips in QC was bad...

No, no, they're not bad. In fact, they're pretty good. But my point is... it's just like eating a BBQ flavor. There is nothing bacon or maple about them at all. They taste like BBQ chips, only more boring.

I really ought to figure out how to make some maple-soaked pigs in a blanket chips (That's breakfast sausage wrapped in pancake, not that boring sausage in crossaint crap). Now that would be good.

Gluten free death by chocolate cookies. I can't even tell they don't have the glutens.
According to South Park your junk didn't fly off and explode, that means no glutens.

I'm still trying to determine why gluten is bad.

Kind of like these, without the stick?

No, like, you take a pancake and cut it into strips. Then you take some smoked breakfast sausage and roll it up so it's covered in pancake. There's an amazing jewish/bagel/breakfast place around the corner that makes the best pancakes and sausages for this application. All pre-packaged crap doesn't hold a candle. Now, we need to take all those flavors and apply them to potato chips.

Had a ton of food for the Superbowl.

Spicy pork tamales.
Mini Cuban sandwiches.
Lobster rolls.
Deep fried SPAM sticks.
Buffalo, Sweet Chili/Sriracha, and Syberg's chicken wings.

I don't think I need to eat for a while.

Tried a miracle berry tablet, then downed a plate of lemon wedges. Followed it up with some limes, and goat cheese. 10/10, would flavour trip again.

Pancake Pantry makes something similar, but they don't cut the pancakes into strips.

My issue with it is that there's no bacon to accidentally get syrup on.

Anyway, last night dinner was Chicken Tetrazzini.

Made my own interpretation of the frittata:

Chorizo, bacon, onion, mushroom, potato, radish and of course, egg. All chopped and cooked together on the stovetop, then finished in the oven.

Ok, you had me up until radish. RADISH!?!

Other than that it looks great!

Teacakes. Because I am British.

Edit. I burnt them :(. Still ate them though. Nice.

@FoolKiller cooking the fish over the rice is brilliant. You're not wasting a bit of the fish flavor.

Was the rice raw, or cooked, or instant when you stuck it in the oven? I have seen raw rice baked with other meats, but never fish.

It also keeps the fish from drying out as the rice is basically being steamed, due to covering the dish with foil while baking. I took the foil off and had to wait about half a minute for my glasses to clear.

I used instant rice in this recipe, as it was one I found online and that is what it called for, but I think some parboiled rice would be better. The vegetables were frozen in a bag. I think this would go better with things like onions and peppers as this was Italian seasoned.

One change I did make was that the recipe called for tomato slices on top of the fish. I didn't have any fresh tomatoes, so just added some seasonings instead; salt, pepper, paprika.

I would also like to try this with a more Cajun flavor. Do rice and beans with some Cajun seasonings on the fish.
