Yeah, next week just make it all processed stuff.
Then maybe baked stuff.
Then maybe the odd celery stick.

We'll have you on fruits and veggies in no time at all. :)

Wow never had Chick Fil A? Their sandwiches are great, but the Deluxe doesn't travel very well. The veggies turn to mush. Same with the fries, they get soggy and limp quick, then tough. They need to be eaten as soon as possible.

The regular Chick Fil A sandwich comes with only a pressure deep fried chicken breast filet and two pickle slices. It travels much better. You can ask for mayonnaise packets.
The chicken and the bun were the only part of the meal that I actually liked. Like you said, the veggies and fries were horrible.

If I ever go there again, I'll just get the chicken nuggets or the chicken patty on a plain bun. Didn't like the pickles at all. I have much better ones at home, which is where I eat nearly all my dinners.

I think if I lived in the US, I'd probably be quite a bit larger than I am :D I'm one step closer to working in California over the summer, so I may well get to test out some of these food establishments once more...

Last night my mates got a sharer plate of 50 'ghost chilli' chicken wings in the pub, and let's just say I'm still paying for them this morning. Without going into too much detail, my guts are not happy - my stomach is growling and I'm not even going to mention the rest. Apparently the barman in this pub once ate a whole plate of these wings himself for charity - all I can say is he's a braver man than I am.

Speaking of which, I've got to go... I may be gone for a while. If I'm not back in an hour, send out a search party.

The regular sandwich is better, especially with mayo added. I also pulled the pickles off the sandwich and ate them separately. I prefer to eat the fries with barbecue sauce regardless of the state, be it soggy or tough.

I had a pork and fennel sausage with chilli along with a continental sausage, rump steak, chips and veggies last night. Best dinner ever. I LOVE the taste of the pork, fennel and chilli sausage! If you haven't eaten one, please do!

California food places are the best of all different worlds. Choose a type of food and you'll find a company that can make it the best in the region or the country.. Usually, you can say that about the coastal areas of America.

Okay, this post acted very weird before and is no longer visible, other than my edit where it looked to have double posted.

Dinner was Wendy's crispy chicken sandwich, with my own bread replacing the bun, side salad, with my own vinaigrette, and a baked potato with butter and sour cream.

Drinking my dinner tonight.

I picked up a growler (64oz) of Boneyards RPM IPA. Fantastic craft brewer from Bend, Oregon.

And then, I got a bomber (24oz) of Stone Brewies ENJOY BY 3/14/15. A beautiful special release IPA by Stones finest.

Man, I am a spoiled man living in craft beer nirvana.

'Man! That great Tuborg taste.'

Went in for some pork chops, came back with a chunk of heart, slab of liver, and tray of jalapenos.
Sauteed the liver with nutmeg, allspice, finely-sliced onions, lemon, pepper and salt - everybody loved it; just disappeared.
Same with the heart - chillied and sizzled, was a great bite with the South African red I bought to go with it.

Wondering now whether to stuff and bake the jalapenos, or to pickle them.

It's not necessarily a drunk thing. For those that don't know, I'm having semi major surgery on Wednesday; total hip replacement. My pain pills don't even touch the pain right now. Plus, I'm rather nervous. Plus plus, I can't drink for the next month or so. Therefore, it sounded a win win win. Now if I lived closer to @TB and his Angry Orchard and wisedom I'd be a happier man.

I went to Shiro's for dinner a couple of nights ago and did the omakase dinner, which included:

First was a piece of marinated cod.

White fish course

Salmon course

Tuna course (I ate one of the pieces already)

Final course, with shrimp, geoduck, herring, egg, mackerel, roe and rolls.

It also included miso soup that's had dungeness crab simmering in it.
