As you can see it is Gravy and Salisbury Steaks. They are floating in it. But the gravy is good, and goes well over mashed potatoes, or egg noodles.

The price, which was $1.99 for the longest time, has sky rocketed to nearly $2.50 now:lol:, but for three meals it is worth it.

I refer to these as industrial strength Salisbury steaks, because they remind me of the stuff they served in school.
I should post my Salisbury steaks recipe next time I make it. I serve them over buttered egg noodles

Yesterday for breakfast I had grilled cheese and fried turkey eggs.

I forgot to take a picture of the finished sandwiches, but here are the two turkey eggs next to a large chicken egg.

Pizza Monday. I found a pre-made fire-roasted crust that has 135mg of sodium for the whole crust and tried it tonight.

Green peppers, onions, and mushroom.

Can you order it with no bun?

I have not tried at Sonic, so I have no idea. I do not eat at Sonic very often, even though they are an Oklahoma company. If I am going to go there, then I would rather just go to Classic 50's or Sooner Dairy Lunch (both local places to Norman).

I just took the burger back to work, pulled the bun off, and put everything on a plate. I know you can order a burger at Jack in the Box, Five Guys, and McDonalds sans bun.

Talking of which. They crossed the pond and have opened a shop in Nottingham in the least week or so. Are they any good?

I enjoy it enough, but not enough to go out of my way to eat there often. I wind up at closer local establishments instead. However, I do like the simple menu and just adding as many toppings as you want.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It is an American brand and last time I checked I hadn't ever been to America so I don't know.
I have been to Five Guys twice. The standard burger is a double cheese burger, it was pretty greasy but very good. It was a while ago, so I don't remember if the fries (er, ah chips) were any good or not.

It's Five Guys...

Hint: something about Five Guys in your mouth...
Oh right. I thought you were saying it is such a bad place that it was a joke asking if they were good.

3 sweet chilli wraps eaten. That is the most lettuce I will ever willingly eat in one sitting.

The thing about the fries is you get a ton of them. They put the burger in a brown paper sack and the fries are in a cup. They fill the cup up and then dump some more fries into the bag.

From when I was still eating fries, I remember them to be adequate. I would not be a good judge of them now. Fries no longer taste particularly great to me, unless they are smothered in cheese and bacon and have a side of ranch. Even then, the fries are pretty much just a cheese, bacon, and ranch delivery device.

I did wonder how they could justify £5 for a large fries.

Dinner last night was baked barbecue chicken with barbecue beans and I finally got to try the new Coca-Cola Life.

Guilt free turkey hot Italian sausages. Only 160 calories per link.

The onions provide a great mouth feel and more than make up for the lack of fat in the sausages.

Didn't feel like cooking anything too involved so I made rice with bolognese sauce with some eggs on top. Turned out a lot nicer than I initially thought it would.

You should feel guilty for packing your pockets full of Wendy's crackers.
Came with the chili my daughter wanted the night before. It was drive thru. No pocket filling.

In fact, our Wendy's doesn't have them out for taking inside.
