This is the problem with words.

The organic/non-organic semantic battle has raged for ages - but AFAIK - I think most agree that organic should mean no artificial fertilizers, or any other artificial products were used in the making of the final product.
Then there is the problem of genetic manipulation . . . :dopey:

There's probably nothing naturally 'natural' or organic around, I would think . . . maybe somewhere deep in a rain forest some wild miracle berries.

Just had a bowl of old-fashioned beef stew - rutabaga, radish, carrot, celery, the works . . with crusty buns.

Don't . . . even . . .

They were bread buns.

With the sun out and it being in the mid 60s, it's nice enough out to turn on the barbecue for the first time this season, so we did hamburgers with fixings and a salad for dinner.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza last night.

The small section on the side with tomato sauce on the edge of the rust is plain cheese pizza for my daughter.

I have almost managed to get my sodium-free, rising pan crust pizza dough perfected. This one rose well and had a good mouth feel (soft and chewy), but was slightly bland on flavor.

That's a coincidence, I'm having the last pieces of a Buffalo Chicken Pizza for lunch. Mine was a DiGiorno frozen pizza that I made over the weekend. Rising cheese stuffed crust. Added some extra Buffalo wings sauce for an added zing.

My buffalo sauce was homemade, so there was extra, and we would spoon extra on top and then drizzle some ranch dressing over it.

Mine was from a bottle, can't remember what brand it was. Been in the fridge a while and used it up. The pizza already had enough ranch dressing on it as it was.

Bagels with smoked salmon, mustard and some drops of lemon juice and olive oil.
Have another one waiting with mayo instead of mustard.

And a beer.

@Adamgp

I you like their Salisbury steaks, you will like these. There are four larger meatish patties and I think the gravy is better.

Not bad.

I also have a warning for you. If you are a McRib fan, do not be tempted!!!

I'll give those beef patties a try next time, and thanks for the warning pork "ribs".

Anyhoo, lunch was a can of chili and a bag of gummy bears.

Well then. I ate Zatarain's brand red beans and rice Monday. I like to use Cajun seasoning on my sausage. Have you tried this or jambalaya with these? I use them for pigs in blankets on Christmas.
My beans and rice was Tony Chachere's. I have never tried those, but I'd be willing to bet the turkey sausage would go just fine in this kind of dish.

What do you use for the bread in pigs in a blanket?

I have made those with full sized Nathan's Famous hot dogs, american cheese, and Pillsbury crescent rolls. They were quite large, I used two of the dough triangles to cover each dog.

Crappy weather and rain between grilling days, but not today. Fired up the grill and made some lamb loin chops, served with some bread and a salad. Healthy and simple.

Not as healthy part: had a beer while grilling the lamb.
