Last night I grabbed some calamari salad at the sushi stand in my grocery and put it on some rice.

The meat was almost completely covered with liquid when I started it. Then I dumped a bunch of mushrooms on top, By the time it was ready there was more than enough liquid.

I think London broil is just too lean to make a juicy pot roast.

Ding ding. London broil is supposed to be broiled or grilled before being sliced thin and eaten on sandwiches or tacos or something. It's completely the opposite cut of meat for slow cooking.

On top of the cut of meat used, I am a big fan of searing all sides before roasting/slow cooking a large hunk of meat.

There's two kinds of people: Those who prefer the cream, and those who prefer the cookie.
And then, there is me. Oreos are the most overrated cookie out there. I once took a couple low sodium, sugar-free chocolate chip (OK, so the chocolate had sugar) cookies and a couple of Oreos and set them side by side. I first tried a straight bite into each cookie. Chocolate chip won. I even split the Oreo, eating crème and wafer separately. Still preferred the chocolate chip. Then I dipped them in milk (after all Oreo is "Milk's favorite cookie," right?) and that was when chocolate chip delivered a killing blow.

If Oreo is all that is available then I'll eat one. But you put it on a table with numerous cookies, and it will only win out above the cookies with raisins, cranberries, or similar in them.

Agreed. A classic chocolate chip cookie kills an Oreo every time.

Also agreed, fruit has no business in a cookie.

So these showed up in the vending machine at work:

I ate the first one fresh out of the refrigerated machine and wasn't terribly impressed. There wasn't nearly as much of that tasty, tasty Butterfinger flavor as I was expecting. I was then called into a meeting before eating the second one so it had time to warm up. There's the Butterfinger flavor I was missing!

It still doesn't replace the classic Reese's for me, but it very much wasn't bad, provided, obviously, that you like Butterfingers.

I also agree. In fact I just ate a huge, soft, fresh, chocolate chip cookie with my lunch. They actually had it stuffed with large pieces of Hersheys chocolate bars in place of the chocolate chips.

I will also have to try one of those Butterfinger cups sometime.

Doesn't anybody like Nutter Butters?

Dinner with my tante. She likes St. Patrick's Day dinners here in America, so I always make one and invite her over.

I have tried that coke life.
It is OK but you can taste the stevia as an after taste.
I am a lover of normal coke, but I am sure I can get an acquired taste for the life.
I am surprised they didn't try and use the synthetic sweetener which cant be absorbed by the body therefor giving you 0 calories.

Been away for a while staying with the sister.

Friday night I had deep fried bacon for a starter, and a ribeye & cheddar sandwich with tater tots.

Last night was a variety of homemade grilled pizzas.

Plenty of leftovers, of course. :)

Breakfast yesterday was a recipe I found on either Facebook or Google+. It might have come from a GTP member, but I can't remember where I got it. I just know that the temperature settings were in Celsius, so it came from outside the US.

They are supposed to be made in a muffin pan, but since I was just making enough for me, I decided to go with these ramekins.

Dinner was Panera Bread's Roast Turkey Avocado BLT half sandwich and a small classic salad with chicken and BBQ Ranch dressing.

Coca-Cola Life is supposed to be all natural. Nothing synthetic allowed. Not sure how that applies to a caramel colored beverage, but that's the marketing-based reasoning.

Would make more marketing sense to have the lowest calorie count as many people are starting to watch what they eat.

Dinner was a big family reunion feast. London Broil steak, cheddar sausage, jambalaya, rye bread, carrots, peppers, and sauteed string beans.

Dinner at my ma's and tante's house. Pork loin chops, mashed 'taters and corn on the cob. Vanilla yogurt for dessert. Wasn't half bad for my ma who can't even make a bowl of cereal. :)

(Sorry, no pics.)

I guess being hungry and not eating much of late has made me enjoy bad foods? Hmmm... Or, maybe ma got one right, for a change.

(2) My impression of GreenCoke is that they took as many calories out as they could without affecting the flavor. I prefer it to regular coke, but I'm still into diet. I've really been on a Coke Zero tear lately. Vanilla Coke Zero is pretty good.

Anyone like those Tyson frozen panko chicken breasts from Costco? I just opened the bag I bought on sale last month. I got them because they were a great deal, but I was sort of dreading that "tyson taste" that all their breaded chicken seems to have. These were surprisingly delicious. Quite good, actually. I think it's because they're raw. All their pre-cooked stuff must be fried in some big nasty oil pool, thus carrying that bitter greasy flavor. The panko, on the other hand, is nice and crunchy and totally neutral. They're great.

Finally after seeing the GTP community post this Screamin Sicilian pizza many times, I decided to try it out. Cooked for 19 minutes. Probably go with 17 minutes next time. I actually cooked mine without a pan. The pan is only there for cutting the pizza.

Without a doubt, easily THE best store bought pizza I have ever had. Ate half the pizza the first night.

I got a 1.3lb sirloin from the Farmer's Market last week and last night I cooked it. I threw it on whole to help maintain juiciness throughout and then divided it into four steaks after it was cooked. I also threw some corn and foil pocket potatoes on the grill.

And someone wanted to be a part of this:

They already have Diet Coke and Coke Zero.

Diet Coke has a problem: People are attacking it as harshly as they do sugar-sweetened or corn syrup sweetened sodas.
Why you should stop drinking Diet Coke.

Plus, Diet Coke sales are falling.

You are suggesting they market something they already have, is losing sales, and is under attack. The goal of Coca-Cola Life is 100% natural and as @Omnis states:

I request Coke Zero at restaurants. Slowly but surely most are starting to get them.

As you wish.

Since 200C translates to 392F I did 375 for 25-30 minutes.

Ultimately, place your favorite omelet ingredients in the muffin tin, beat eggs with milk, pour over the ingredients in the muffin tin, and bake. I'm pretty sure there is no set receipt here, just whatever you like with your eggs.

Mine had: fresh pepperoncini, fresh diced tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh diced onion, cheese, and bacon.

EDIT: I just realized my screen shot has the name. Anyone we know? It could have been linked by someone else on my friends list.

On the subject of Coca-Cola Life, I definitely enjoyed it.

What was interesting about my experience was that, although I did not know what it was about beforehand (I didn't bother to read anything), it did instantly taste more "natural" to me. Good stuff.
