It's not the greatest, but with a name like that I just had to try it.

Bought a tub of Ditka's BBQ beef (frozen) and made a sandwich.

The BBQ sauce was way too sweet for me, I'll stick to the Italian beef,

Three piece catfish, ceasar salad and a loaded sweet potato from Texas Roadhouse.

I thought I would try out McDonald's all day breakfast.

I ordered a "sausage McMuffen with egg and cheese", and a hash brown.

I got:

And these guys want $15.00 an hour.

Probably why McDs is going automated in areas that win the fight for 15 battle. Cause why pay 15 dollars when a machine that wont complain can still give you this same image :D

Okay, it's from a few days ago, but I still think about it. Skillet for me, amazing pancakes for the lady.

Did you make that yourself and if so, what is all in the skillet. It's for research purposes...that will later be turned into consuming purposes

The-milwaukee-burger-300x224.jpg

Live above a steakhouse and saw something come up on my Facebook the last day along the lines of 'Burgers to have before you die' which featured something known as the Milwaukee Burger.

It's utterly fantastic, the thing is about the size of your head and comes with a plate full of chips cut straight from the potato. It comes topped with bacon, sausage and a runny egg as well as the usual lettuce, tomato etc.

It's a shame it would cause a heart attack if I went again.

I've got a little baggie of Virginia peanuts that I'm snacking on though (toasted/salted). Why are they so much better than regular peanuts?
I bought a can of Virginia peanuts because you your post. I have never had them, wow, they are way better than regular peanuts. Where have these been all my life?

I just want to clarify what this means, as I have seen it used in different ways before.
There are these "fryers" now, which work just with circulating hot air to simulate traditional frying.

Some of them work by adding just a table spoon of olive oil, but you then have the option of not using any oil at all - which is the case of these french fries you see in the photo.

I've been using this a lot recently because we borrowed it from my brother for a week - we're still deciding if we buy one ourselves.

The one we're using is this one.

And this is completely different from anything I was thinking. I need to look into that.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Things do get very crisp and with a texture very close to actual frying.

Of course there's some difference in flavour (you notice that it is "lacking" something), but they at leasst taste more natural and I bet I could mistake some people with it.

The biggest problem is that food has to be eaten right away. Anything more that 10~15 minutes and all the magic disappears, just like that.

How long does it take to cook a batch of fries? The way my family is I've had to reheat my food before they finally listen to me and decide to eat.

It takes quite a bit more than regular frying. This small batch, for example, took 10 + 5 minutes (it is recommended to remove the basket and shake the food a bit somewhere at the middle).

Right now, at 4:45 in the morning?

Ricecakes.

My parents have started buying me these to snack on because apparently eating two tubs of Ben & Jerry's ice cream on the same day is unhealthy and I keep leaving the refrigerator freezer door open when I go down at night to retrieve it.

Anyway, back to the rice cakes, I've never eaten something so dull in my life, its like consuming several discs of cardboard and sawdust that have been bound together with nail varnish. My tongue is flopping up and down craving sugar and all I have to give it are these:
