Breakfast at an average hotel. Not bad, not great. ^^

Warm sandwich with hot Italian sausage, griddled peppers (green bell and cubanelle) and caramelized onion cooked with minced garlic and ginger. Crusty Italian roll, one side hit with whole-grain mustard and the other with vegan mayo, then griddled where the sausage and peppers previously lay. Sport pepper and pickle relish on the mayo side.

Fries tossed with malt vinegar salt and then more minced garlic and parsley.

Point "Apricadabra" apricot ale.

...

My much better half is out of town until Sunday.

:P

Let's say that I'm going to have a few nuts today. Besides that, whole grain bread with seitan curry,

Cream of mushroom soup.

Also these:

:odd:

I mean...do they taste like candy corn but with a sour edge or are they just shaped like candy corn? I haven't had candy corn in ages, but I seem to recall they have a slightly overly-sweet, mild caramel flavor and I just can't imagine that being made sour.

They are a slightly sour, sugar coated, fruit flavored candy corn. Certainly different from traditional candy corn, which like you said, has a bit of a caramel type of flavor.

It's cold so I figured I would try doing grilled cheese (using Muenster cheese) on my Pizzazz and it worked better than I thought it would. Also had some Progresso Tomato & Basil soup along with it.

Kids talked me into another burger for supper. I should have toasted the buns longer but an additional hit of brown sugar was perfect.

I make a killer meatloaf but wanted to try something different with it this time around.
So, I made a meatloaf stuffed with mashed potatoes.
It turned out fantastic!
I think this is the way I’ll make it from now on. I only needed to make gravy and broccoli to complete meal.

Leek soup. As always, my homemade soup tastes delicious. Also made Leek with a butter sauce, which is only butter (real original organic farm butter made as the did at least 70 y.o.) with spices.

After writing this post, I'm going to get some Kefir with Krunchy pur. Or whole wheat bread with some stuff on it.

I had whole grain spelt spaghetti with delicious homemade spaghetti sauce. Added some cheese too.

  • Whole grain rice.
  • Chicken filet
  • Homemade sauce de Provence.
The very first time I attempted to make this sauce. A little bit too generous with the spices but overall, very good sauce.

Went to an Indian restaurant where I had a "Hyderabadi biryani" (I had to commit that spelling to memory) that was just exceptional. I mean really, really, really good.

Lamb and rice in a clay pot sealed with dough. Had a great chili and peanut accompaniment as well as a yogurt and onion chutney that was a little less good but worked with the dish.

Kalyani lager was...unpleasant; I should have gone with something more familiar but oh well.

We ordered out from an Italian place tonight.

I had a garlic and cheese panzerotti that was bigger than my head. I managed to eat half of it.

Also some "Italian nachos". Deep-fried pizza dough pieces, covered in mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce.

No pics, will try and get some when I tackle the leftovers.
