Wouldn’t be the festive period without Irish Cream. Normally it would be Baileys but this year I bought the missus a bottle of Five Farms small batch Irish Cream. It’s expensive but worth it.

Tried the Samyang 2x spicy buldak fire chicken ramen the other day. I've had the 1x spicy before and I've wanted to try it since it came out a few years ago.

Added two fried eggs and blanched Napa cabbage to go with it.

The noodles were spicy. At first couple of bites, I was thinking that it's not bad at all, but it builds and builds. Only good thing is the spiciness fades fairly quickly.

I just found out that a 3x spicy version was just introduced, so now I've got to try that one too.

This afternoon I was frying two Turkey filets. Went back to browse GTP. After a looooong time, I went back to the kitchen (before I opened the door I remembered) and immediately smelled something was wrong. Needless to say that one side of the filets were very "nicely fried". I already ate mine. :D

It's actually the only alcohol free beer that I buy at the moment. Brewdog Punk AF is probably the best tasting and most realistic, but it upsets my stomach and it always fizzes up and spills everywhere when I open a can - so there's something not right with it.

Last night I had a (half) bottle of sweet wine and it was very nice indeed:

However, I was shocked to discover that it has over 3 times as much sugar as Coca-Cola (!?)... at at 8% ABV, it has 60% more alcohol per unit volume than a premix can of Jack Daniel's and Coke.

Not shocked enough to not drink it though.

Whipped up a bowl of tom ka gai (coconut milk soup with chicken), with a plate of rice, and a side of hot-n-spicy pork rinds.

Thai comfort food to cry into as Albon gets demoted to reserve driver. Why you not faster, bro?!

Just had a 290 calorie chocolate bar a coworker just gave me for Christmas.

I'm thankful, and now full of chocolate.

I put a chicken Kiev into some Samyang spicy noodle soup last night because I've spent myself into a hole. Taste of the thing was not particularly offensive for some reason and I'm ashamed to say I'd probably do it again.

Bagel (onion and cumin seed) with cream cheese, fresh ground pepper, medium pepper jelly and salt cod. Also a cup of Irish Breakfast tea with cream. Good separately but not the best combination.
