I’m a mead drinker (normally traditional mead) but just picked up some cans from Gosnells. 4 flavours so will give them a try but I’m not expecting to like them.

nailed it... it’s a drink for those who like things like flavoured fruit alcohol drinks. Not my bag but I’ve got another three cans so...

nailed two more cans tonight. The Citra Sea was ok, fesh with a hint of hops on the after taste.

The sour was again quite fresh and had a tang of kombucha and grapefruit.

Turkey, mashed taters and cheap stove top stuffing smothered in gravy, garlic green beans, sweet rolls with honey butter, cranberry sauce and green olives.
Delivered that same meal to my in-laws. Left it on the porch and said our hellos through the windows. Then we delivered a pie to my bro-in-law.
A good day was had.

For my first post here, the Thanksgiving spread for this year:

In no particular order:

- Blackened Salmon
- Garlic Shrimp
- Crab Cakes
- Steak
- Mashed Potatoes
- Broccoli
- Peach Cobbler
- Ice Box Pie

Basically, me and my sisters decided earlier this year we were gonna do something very different so we planned that out. Absolutely worth it (and the nap that came afterwards)

Last can, this was the best off all four. The first three are more on the front of fizzy, sweet alcoholic pop. This, despite still being relatively sweet, is more akin to a larger shandy with a honey note. Not bad.

Made a turkey soup with the thanksgiving leftovers.
Also tried a “pilgrim pumpkin pie” recipe.
It’s a custard baked in a pumpkin.
Waiting for it to chill for 6 hours before I dig in, making sure to scrape the inside of the pumpkin for added flavor.
Hope it doesn’t taste like ass.

Highlander Grog Coffee.

Have been drinking this at work for about 2 years. Love it.

Has anybody here had it?

I had my first and last cheesecake in Chicago. I arrived late afternoon and my American friend (girl) took me downtown Chicago to have cheesecake. Problem was, I had jetlag and cheesecake and didn't sleep that night at all.

Cheesecake is delicious.

My wife made pumpkin cheesecake for thanksgiving. Never again will we have pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving.

Finished off my Thanksgiving leftovers with a bowl of: Garlic mashed potatoes with bacon, turkey, gravy, and buttered veggies (zucchini, yellow squash, and asparagus).

It’s called “The Sticky Maple”. A biscuit with a piece of fried chicken breast, and pecanwood smoked bacon, served with maple syrup and a side of sausage gravy. And it’s my new favorite breakfast sandwich.

I'm assuming where the nutrition facts usually are it just says "you don't want to know"?
According to the restaurants website, all of this is over 1300 calories not counting the soda.

This is what I imagine a redneck Monte Cristo to look like.

Seriously though, that looks really good. Not sure about the mix of gravy and maple syrup though. Do you dip the sandwich or... how do you do go about the gravy?

I pour the gravy all over the sandwich and go at it with a knife and fork.
