Local racetrack food.
Garlic parmesan chicken tenders and seasoned fries.

Chili dog (I promise it tasted better than it looks)

Cool chilidogs and fries, I got a jumbo hot dog a couple days ago with chili, coleslaw and fries as sides and some iced tea.

Before “The Power of the Doctor” aired, I ran out to the local A&W and got myself a double cheeseburger, fries and a root beer. Then I got logy and slept through an hour of the show.

Had a weird craving for a Chicken Caeser Pita for the first time in years, so I picked up the mats and made a couple. Not bad for a first attempt! Well... to be fair, it's kinda hard to screw up pita bread, chicken, romaine lettuce, dressing, and parmesan cheese. 😅

Really upset that the sandwich artist didn't push the contents into the body of the sandwich very well. Contents expelled from the body upon unwrapping the sandwich. What a disaster. Also, they dropped my cookies on the floor. (Yes, they gave me different ones than the ones that fell.)

I'm pretty sure the artist was high.

Wendy’s Pub Pretzel burger combo while I watched The Addams Family last night. The drink is some Rick and Morty promotional tie-in lime drink. I don‘t know Rick and Morty. I’ve never seen an episode of the show. But I enjoyed the drink.

This was lunch, a couple of hours ago. It's called Posta Barrosã and it's made with veal (raised in special conditions, etc., which makes them extra tasteful). There's lots of olive oil and garlic involved as well.

I've been hanging with some North-American clients (with whom I had this lunch) and they did say it was one of the best meals they ever had. I can agree with that myself.

That wouldn't be difficult...

That looks and sounds amazing!

I had a hankering for a good old fashioned skanky Glasgow kebab last night and so I went to 'McDonners' (which, ironically, is about the closest takeaway restaurant to my local branch of McDonalds) and had their doner kebab. It hit the spot, but it does come with a two-drink minimum requirement before daring to eat it. There also seems to be something of a recruitment crisis in the UK at the moment, as several people who has served me lately have been spotty teenagers with a 19-20 year old 'supervisor' explaining to them what to do, which is fine in an electrical shop, but not so great when they are literally making your dinner/doner.

This kid seemingly didn't speak English either, but had at least mastered 'salad and sauce?', although rather dumbly he put the salad on top of the kebab meat first and then added the sauce to the salad. Also, the mayo that I requested wasn't garlic mayo, but mint, so it was a bit of a bizarre kebab, but it was at least a trip down memory lane - albeit followed by a few trips to the bathroom today.

I’m gonna join the general population and say that looks divine. I don’t recall ever having veal (or venison) but I’m sure it wouldn’t last long on my plate.

Today I treated myself to a pizza at my favourite Italian. I needed something to line my stomach. It was as good as always.

After filling half my recycle bin with beer cans this week, I’m now craving a doner, and the one place that I know of locally does a mean deal for around £3, can of pop and all. Thanks @Touring Mars for the cravings.
I wonder if it’s still open at midnight…

Came down to the Algarve for the weekend, where the weather's still warm.
Perfect opportunity for some fresh, grilled seabass and an ice-cold gaspacho.

Also ate 1/4 of a grilled sea bream (not pictured).

Edit:

Rosemary + lime and avocado + lemon ice-cream.
