Feeling super lazy and not very gourmet, so I tossed a potato into the microwave to make a quick and dirty garlic mashed potatoes with crumbled bacon, and hacked up a stored bought herb and garlic roast chicken.

Took a bite from my "long day" sandwich. Just a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with leftover onion and kale. Looks like mush but tastes pretty dang good.

I’ve been trying to price out what food I make would cost vs eating out. I figure this would cost about $12?

And long day meaning I’ll be out in the snow for some time.

For a late breakfast, I'm having some grits, oatmeal, Fruit Loops cereal without the milk and 2 bagels. I slept in and woke up at about 12:30pm.

It's my wife's birthday and she wished for some Francesinhas, so here we are.

It's a shame there aren't any great Francesinha places around where we lived, but it's better than nothing.
Wow, so sweet. Tell her I hope she has a wonderful birthday!! I see the fries and the Coke, hope y'all enjoy.

Eating some cashew butter with some Ritz crackers for a late night snack. I'll have to brush my teeth to remove the sugar off of them.

My bother sent me a beautiful Christmas gift.
Since 3 Floyd’s brewing does not distribute to the west coast, my awesome youngest brother sent me a 12 pack of Zombie Dust. (2nd favorite ipa in the world) and a sixer of Zombie Ice , a double ipa.
I have never had Zombie Ice. I’m not a big double ipa fan. But this is very nice and quite drinkable for a double.
C’mon 3 Floyd’s. Get out here!

Tonight for dinner, me and my mom are having, grilled chicken, pot roast, green beans and dinner rolls. Sounds good, doesn't it?

For breakfast, we had some bacon, Ore Ida tater tots, some grits with no butter, 2 waffles and 2 Pillsbury Strudels.

some grits with no butter
The only reason to have grits with no butter is because you had grits with red eye gravy.

I think deciding to have a bowl of my homemade high protein ice cream after just finishing supper was a mistake. I'm absolutely stuffed.

This is more of a public service announcement than a post, but I won't be touching this abomination of a foodstuff again...

shopping

I thought I'd use them as a fast and simple addition to some breaded chicken I had, but I really did not enjoy them much.

However, something unexpected and quite unpleasant was to follow... the flavouring is a bit like permanent ink - no matter how many times I've watched my hands, face, and various other parts of my body, I can't seem to get rid of this nasty 'wok-style soba' aroma. I shower every morning and wash my hands multiple times a day, and yet I can still smell the damn things on my fingers, on my face, and even in my nose... and I ate them on Sunday evening... four whole days ago.

OMG, no thank you. I will never eat those things.
