Firefox 2.0 :) Just upgraded from 1.5.0.1 (I think that was the version)
FF is great, my old crappy IE got infected with spyware and some other tracking device, and I could not access the GTP Forum page :yuck:.
So I started using FF more and more :)

Yep, I have Firefox 2.0, I've used Firefox for over a year now, and i would never turn back to IE. I think FF 2.0 is a BIG step forward from 1.5, but all Firefox versions have been good.

I use Firefox.

Another reason Firefox is better than IE, my mom download AVG 8.0 Free Version on the other computer and ran a scan, It found 20+ Trojan Horse Viruses.:scared::scared::scared: They ALL got through using the security holes in Internet Explorer which we rarely use. Lucky for us AVG got rid of them. That computer runs WAY better now.

This is one hell of an old thread there bud.
I was 99th vote for Mozilla Firefox.
I use version 3.0 now.

I quite frankly don't like Firefox, simply because pop-ups arent blocked and tabs aren't automatically made after typing in a new address, but that's exactly why I use Slimbrowser, because it covers both these problems and on top of that, there's a skin that matches the desktop skin i use...

Mac-simulated Windows 👍

I'm #100! I use Firefox 3 final also for Linux.

@SolidSnake15: Spyware took down my patrents old xp down but I went into safe mode with networking to download and burn Ubuntu onto a DVD to install.

I use firefox but (cant find topic for browser problems) it keeps on crashing a lot when i search something on google. 99% of the crashes are on google and it happens multiply times a day? anyone have this problem too?

BUMPITIY BUMP
(Well not really a bump cause I'm adding something)

Released yesterday was Internet Explorer Beta 2, and I have to say after a day of using it it's not half bad. You can now Undo Closed Tabs (like in FireFox), and has a few other features that look quite handy which I haven't had had a chance to play around with, like 'Porn Mode'. It's only crashed once on me so far, but it can restore sessions as well so it's not that big a deal.

If it's a big improvement over IE I'm not too sure as yet, but I'd say it's definately worth the upgrade when it comes out as the final product.

One thing I'm digging at the moment is the colour coded tabs, where say, you can search GTPlanet and when you open up another Tab, both tabs turn green. Go too another site, open another Tab on it, and both of those turn a different colour (Purple from memory), it's pretty handy for those who troll a few forums and sites at once.

Updates to come.

Chrome for me as well. Everything about it is so good. The UI is nice the webapps are nice, it is very fast, very stable. Chrome is amazing.

Judging by the OP date, and how much things have changed since then, I think we should create a new poll to reflect the usage of today's browsers, rather than have them skewed by the results of yesteryear.

I agree. An updated poll is required.

Ever since switching to Mac OSX I have been using Safari. At school I use IE, and try to use Chrome as much as I can because IE is horrid, but Safari all the way. I like the set up and simplicity about it. I cant stand firefox! It's so slow and useless! And it seems every time I do open it, it has to do some silly update!

I use Firefox 3.6 on my desktop and Opera 10.1 on my laptop. I find chrome annoying, IE 9 just plain crap and Firefox 4 ugly and unreliable.

I used to use Firefox, but I switched to Chrome a while ago.
