What did you buy today?

Today, I bought a TTS and promptly tuned it to APR Stage 3 levels and then bought a Golf R, painted it Lambo SV Atlas Orange, and APR Stage 2 tuned.
 
WEDSSPORR Celica. The car is by far the best handling car "out of the box" that I have found.

Took it for a lap around Nurb and set a personal top 10 time. It drives like it's on rails. Currently trying to get a higher top speed out of it without killing the character of it.
 
The Schulze Motorsport GT-R, its not as fast as I thought it would be though, and a BMW 2002. It was the first one I remember seeing, so I had to snatch it up.

I love this thread... unfortunately I won't be able to contribute to it anymore...

I usually don't critisize PD, but thanks to them and its marvelous update, my file got currupted... So no new cars for me. This is the third time I'll be starting GT5, since the last time it was thanks to my old PS3 dying on me... I need a break form GT5... I have no choice but to play Dirt for my petrol fix. (tried playing NFS Shift again, but I forgot how horribly crippled that game is)

I hope GT5 XL doesn't get delayed too much. I'm so looking forward for it. That way I won't have to download too much of an update 👍

I had the same thing happen. You should try backing up your save file to a external hard drive. I had a few blu rays die on me and I just backed up the files, deleted the data off the ps and then loaded everything into my new one. Didn't lose a thing. It's possible they created a patch so you can no longer do this but if not definitely worth it!
 
4th FGT - in 1969 Brabham-Cosworth colours (Dark Green base and Yellow stripes and wings)

I've completed the collection of GT by Citroën cars by getting the "Road Car." Got one in this metallic red color. I basically bought a bunch of cars to move closer to that magical 1,000 car mark. I am at 999 at present. A certain race car in my current Used Car Dealership that I don't yet have will mark as a car I will have as my thousandth car. All I need is to win a Seasonal or two. While that damned Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car is still on my wish list in GT5, I figured to spend my current finances in GT5 on (this race car) and get back to 1M Credits to try again getting that R390 GT1.

The main highlight, though, is that I got the GT by Citroën "Road Car."

Caterham F1 - gah you put me off it now!

Got a nice Silver and Black FGT... a Mercedes from the 50's or a Porsche from the early 60's maybe. perhaps a McLaren before they got loads of Vodaphone ugly on the cars

Just got my third Diablo GT1 - Have to use one of them in the SuperGT Seasonal.

About to get my second FTO LM - In Red.

Just got it, What a great livery - the crimson really works will wit hthe castrol/bridgestone and Mitsubishi logos.
Also got a E Type Shaguar in Opalesence clearcoat blue.... but it looks an evil shade of black to me.

1 - FGT from the ocd - finally found a colour i really like
2 - brand new Bugatti Veyron from the ocd - the black and red one (best looking one in my opinion)
3 - every alpha romeo from the ocd

...the Nissan R92CP!

This was my car in Gran Turismo 4 that I used for the big time races. I found myself racing this car more than I did the Toyota 88C-V (commonly referred to as the "Minolta Toyota"). This car is just scary fast. Now, it's part of my GT5 stable. I can now breathe easier knowing I've finally cleared the bloody "Car Collector" trophy.

You mean the R92CP, right. If you still need that R390 road car, I have like 3 or 4 of them. I just cant trade for another 7 days. I will send one free.
 
Yeah, R92CP. I changed my initial post. Feel free to gift me one of those R390 GT1 Road Cars because the wait-and-see thing is getting ridiculous. Just be sure one hasn't been modified or anything.
 
I just got a Ford Falcon XR8 race car, a Mazda 787B, and a Ford Fusion Nascar (2011 model). I also am gonna buy the 155 TI v6 touring car from the OCD once I finish the seasonal event and win the level 8 prize car ticket. I have the 155, but I need a new one with no miles on it.

The whole TYPE-R line from Honda. These little 4 bangers are quite a lot of fun to drive. Not what you would expect from any econo-compact.
