What did you do in GT7 today?

You can't turn off the music, and good luck hearing your car over it! I had to switch to automatic transmission just to stop missing shifts because I couldn't hear my engine.

I tried the second one and left it at that. The rest is locked, oh no what shall I do.

I did a couple arcade races on N24 instead, WRX with different weather presets. The AI doesn't seem to equip rain tires so in the wet you finish a minute ahead of the pack lol.

@GTSdude1109 I had to disable my internet connection as the game doesn't want to start at all when connected. After a long time an error message pops up that the server can't be reached, then it goes back to the endless black screen with spiny icon bottom right. It never seems to come out of it. Turn off internet connection in the settings and it starts.

Be warned, Music Rally doesn't save either if you're offline.

It was going to be the thing that gets me through my occasional internet drops or the server maintenances. Why bother though.

You don't. Nobody can play. The servers are offline, and this game is "always online" meaning you need to be connected to the servers to play even the singleplayer mode.

I see that now. I at first saw that people could at least play some Arcade and Music Rally but then looked at another thread and everyone was having the same issue as me.
It has just now loaded to the World Map/Music Rally screen as I was typing this.

Saw a a person above that had to uninstall then reinstall because of message “unable to launch game or app”.

Almost 24 hours now. Unbelievable.

Luckily I didn’t have to do that as it eventually connected while I was responding to a post here.
Doing some laps on Deep Forest. I’m not very good in the technical part of the track and just getting familiar with the entire track again as I hadn’t raced it since GT4. I skipped the PS3.

I appreciate the info on the internet connection anyway!

Nothing the Server is down for maintenance and it’s still is as I type this over 9 hours after I first tried to get on line.

Something must be seriously broken(other than the mean correction if prize money) they need some major time to fix it!!!!!

To my surprise, I was able to save the replay.

Oh wait, there’s no way to actually view the replay. So who knows if it was actually saved.

Updated to 1.08, launched the game, see that it is online, see that I still can't progress though the cafe menu books, closed the game.

Updated, did my daily mileage, got a 3 star ticket that gave me 10k.
Did the Le Mans 800PP race in the Red Bull Jr for an easy win and 70k credits.
Bought the only car available in the UCD that I didn't have.

Finished (golds) IA and started S license.
Drove 4 tracks to gold and stuck on rally one - i see that one will frustrate me...

Finished the Café menus, grinded money, and tried golding the 24 hours mission. Also took 911 GT1 for a spin at Nordschleife.

Out of money and no way I’m grinding a dirt track with incomprehensibly inept pendulum-turn physics and traction. Not sure how to progress and get my hands on a couple nice race cars…

And got my iA license too.

Dirt races are really sucky... But this is what the game is about, yes, chasing the rabbit, but also putting the moves on the other cars and simply enjoying the car, the sounds (notice the subtle squeals when on the limit) and the best track in the world..

Well after a enforced lay off , I took the Yellow B'stard and introduced it to the 600pp Championship .

With the newer update ( you know the one that works ) I actually slaughtered the AI in all 3 races .

My 930 Tune and the 3 races has me grinning like a lunatic and remembering what Gran Turismo was about .

Turning a rather scary ill handling turd into a excellant track toy .

Oh and finally did my first Mission thingy with all Gold and won a Willy
