Entered they Veyron in the Sunday Cup .

Lapped the entire field

It's not my fault , someone invited me to buy it , so I had to test it .

Also............

Earnt around 2.5 Million CR doing various championships

Only have just over 18 Million CR , feeling broke :dopey:

Only have just over 18 Million CR
Impossible!

According to everyone grinding.

Anyway, just driving some cars because they are fun to drive. I do that a lot.

Its not , I had nearly 19 Mill before the 1.07 hiccup , today I bought a Veyron for 2 Mill and did a few championships all day sort of ring around the roses . After upgrading the Veyron I still have over 18 mill CR left .

Just bought the Mercedes Sauber C9 from the legendary dealer.

Holy baby Jesus, I lazily visited that dealer expecting nothing new and what do my eyes spot? A freaking Sauber C9 Group-C car and on top if it - affordable! I bought it before I even knew what was happening. Heck, these days you have to seize the opportunity right away because it could be a glitch or something Polyphoy immediately patches away. :P
The C9 in GT Sport just cost 1.000.000…

Got gold on the 700 PP championship where I only had silver before, completed 4 tracks experience, 4 missions and did a couple of custom races on Tsukuba best motoring style. Oh I also got gold on all licences where I was missing it (the dirt ones mostly where I onlly had bronze because of tires) and Trial Mountain where I had only silver). Now I need to finish the S10 in gold, I only have silver so far but I made a few mistakes and I'm not far away.

Not much.
I can't upgrade my cars with these payouts. I'm struggling to keep those 200.000 cr I have (if I get a bunch of sets of racing tires my money's all gone).
I did a couple of offline races just for sake of "completing" the unnecessary offline events that give you nothing, and I tried the Gr.3 5 lap Suzuka Race. A lot effort for 75.000 cr or something like that.
And a couple of daily races on Nurb GP that gave me something like 5.000 or 7.000 cr each.

Then I closed GT7. Fired up BFV. 30 min later I went back to GT7 and while I was on the map I moved the cursor around and thought "why the hell am I here again? There's nothing fun to do". So I closed GT7 and I'm back on BFV right now.

This. I did this today. They really shouldn't let me do things like this, but they still do anyway. 🦊

That Maserati is quite the beast, too. Another car that can trample all over the Gr.4 crowd with the right setup. Pretty sure I can make it viable for Gr.3 too.

I'm starting to hate the game. I was doing championships over to grind for credits for the Sauber C9, to do an endurance race with GR.1 cars, driving the oldie myself. Yet the more I redo the campaign races, the more I start to hate the AI.

Apparently a 548pp Subaru BRZ cannot win the 550pp Clubman+ race at High Speed Ring. The AI cars are definitely driving 650pp+ card down tuned to 550pp LOL

Taught/teaching myself to drive MT, think it's paying off for most tracks, do have the occasional brain malfunction though & end up in completely the wrong gear!

Nothing. I played Destiny 2 instead, a game where the developer understands that it's possible to include a non-predatory microtransactions that's based purely around cosmetics and allows you to still organically progress through the game unlocking content as opposed to Genshin Turismo's pay-to-win Pokemon with cars.
Do you have a pay to win Gjallarhorn?
Did you do the content that is exclusive for the deluxe package?
Did you buy the €120 euro edition?

Destiny is the most expensive F2P game outside warframe and it's filled with fomo and micro transactions nudging. I played it for years and GT7 is like a free buffet in a Michelin Restaurant compared to D2

Received a 6 star ticket from Daily Workout, won half a million, gave in to temptation and bought the Zonda R that I’ve been lusting over ever since driving it in one of the licences / missions.

I’ve made rather easy work of the 800PP Touring Car races in the Zonda. But it doesn’t feel anywhere near as glued-down as when I drove it previously 🤔 I wonder if something changed with a patch.

Err . . . no it's not.

1 - "Do you have a pay to win Gjallarhorn?"

No, and Gjallarhorn is the only example of a "pay to win" weapon in the game (which was just something extra purely for the hardcore fans), and even then you'll still hardly get to use it in end-tier PVP and PVE due to heavy ammo being hard to come by (as it should) because Bungie actually bothers to balance things. It's very easy to take the only example of a "pay to win" weapon out of context to try paint an entire game as such, then completely and intentionally leave out the fact that you still have to complete a lengthy 11-part quest to unlock it in order to suit your cynical pro-Warframe narrative.

2 - "Did you do the content that is exclusive for the deluxe package?"

No, because it has no impact on the gameplay progression or mechanics + you'll be able to unlock it for free later down the line via random world drops (which is how I got a lot of meta-tier exotics like Chaperone, Polaris Lance, Outbreak Perfected, Thorn, Gravaton Lance, Le Monarque, Crimson, Last Word, Ace Of Spades, Telesto, Forerunner, etc)... also the current meta is legendary Fusion Rifles a.k.a "Foop Guns" which just so happens to Main Ingredient which drops for EVERYONE in Vanguard, including those playing the free version. ...and before you even bother bringing up Dead Man's Tale and Hawkmoon, go look at what Xur is giving for free every week.

3 - "Did you buy the £120 edition?"

No, because it has no impact on gameplay progression or mechanics, and buying the "normal edition" has no impact on someone's ability complete the campaign, become a cracked PVP player and complete Vow Of Disciple. The meta for Vow of Disciple are actually the legendary Fusion Rifles which you can get via random world drops through either Vanguard or derping about in Cosmodrome... kinda awkward for people who got the Osteo Striga.

4 - "Destiny is the most expensive F2P game outside warframe and it's filled with fomo and micro transactions nudging. I played it for years and GT7 is like a free buffet in a Michelin Restaurant compared to D2"

Complete and utter lie, and you know it is. I've been playing D2 since launch and there's currently no "fomo" on micro transactions because they are confined to cosmetics (which most people don't really care much about), unlike Genshin Turismo 7 which puts actual end-game progression behind a paywall. Also, you are never at any point nudged into microtransactions outside of the dedicated page for it in the "director" menu, which requires users to flip three pages to the left. Lastly, anything that's obtainable via microtransactions ends up being obtainable for free a few months later via either Eververse engrams that drop randomly or by earning Bright Dust from Seasonal/Weekly challenges (which are free).

Lastly, paid content has no impact on a player's ability to be good at the core of the game's content of PVE and PVP. Go have a look at the most used "meta" weapons currently, the vast majority of them can be unlocked in the free version of the game, the only ones that come via paid expansions are Funnelweb, Reckless Endangerment, and The Noob-Tube (Gjallarhorn).

Nice try Warframe fanboy, if you're salty about being trash at Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris (even though you've clearly never played it based on your nonsense narrative), maybe get good or go play Astro's Playroom instead?

other than the veyron, what expensive cars have you bought from hagertys or by invitation or just in car dealers?

Daily mileage, got a 4 star ticket that gave me 5k. Yay!
I got a 4-star ticket too, and it got me a....drumroll.... semi-racing exhaust for a McLaren.

I really don't care about the daily workout roulette tickets anymore, I'm done with that crap.

Ha, I do the exact same thing. I'll open the game and look at the dealerships, knowing very much they aren't updated. Then I'll let my dog have a little fun while I move the cursor around the screen. Shut it off. Repeat a couple times when I have time. Here and there I'll do a few races telling myself I'm going to grind credits but I always give up within 15min.

Had a blast the first 3-4 days though, lol

Finished off the Gr.B Rally Menu challenge, managed to do decent at Hammerhea - I mean, Fisherman's Ranch. What can you catch in the desert anyhow? Cactus perch?

Spent the rest of the evening tuning a Ferrari 308 racer to try and win another 308. :D

Gonna finally eat a very late supper.

I like how you decide to go for the personal insults just because I called your absolut bluff, just after you confirmed everything I said is true. Enjoy farming that bright dust fellow guardian.

It almost feels like hanging out in /r/destinythegame again 🤠
