Do you have a pay to win Gjallarhorn?
Did you do the content that is exclusive for the deluxe package?
Did you buy the €120 euro edition?
Destiny is the most expensive F2P game outside warframe and it's filled with fomo and micro transactions nudging. I played it for years and GT7 is like a free buffet in a Michelin Restaurant compared to D2
Err . . . no it's not.
1 - "Do you have a pay to win Gjallarhorn?"
No, and Gjallarhorn is the only example of a "pay to win" weapon in the game (which was just something extra purely for the hardcore fans), and even then you'll still hardly get to use it in end-tier PVP and PVE due to heavy ammo being hard to come by (as it should) because Bungie actually bothers to balance things. It's very easy to take the only example of a "pay to win" weapon out of context to try paint an entire game as such, then completely and intentionally leave out the fact that you still have to complete a lengthy 11-part quest to unlock it in order to suit your cynical pro-Warframe narrative.
2 - "Did you do the content that is exclusive for the deluxe package?"
No, because it has no impact on the gameplay progression or mechanics + you'll be able to unlock it for free later down the line via random world drops (which is how I got a lot of meta-tier exotics like Chaperone, Polaris Lance, Outbreak Perfected, Thorn, Gravaton Lance, Le Monarque, Crimson, Last Word, Ace Of Spades, Telesto, Forerunner, etc)... also the current meta is legendary Fusion Rifles a.k.a "Foop Guns" which just so happens to Main Ingredient which drops for EVERYONE in Vanguard, including those playing the free version. ...and before you even bother bringing up Dead Man's Tale and Hawkmoon, go look at what Xur is giving for free every week.
3 - "Did you buy the £120 edition?"
No, because it has no impact on gameplay progression or mechanics, and buying the "normal edition" has no impact on someone's ability complete the campaign, become a cracked PVP player and complete Vow Of Disciple. The meta for Vow of Disciple are actually the legendary Fusion Rifles which you can get via random world drops through either Vanguard or derping about in Cosmodrome... kinda awkward for people who got the Osteo Striga.
4 - "Destiny is the most expensive F2P game outside warframe and it's filled with fomo and micro transactions nudging. I played it for years and GT7 is like a free buffet in a Michelin Restaurant compared to D2"
Complete and utter lie, and you know it is. I've been playing D2 since launch and there's currently no "fomo" on micro transactions because they are confined to cosmetics (which most people don't really care much about), unlike Genshin Turismo 7 which puts actual end-game progression behind a paywall. Also, you are never at any point nudged into microtransactions outside of the dedicated page for it in the "director" menu, which requires users to flip three pages to the left. Lastly, anything that's obtainable via microtransactions ends up being obtainable for free a few months later via either Eververse engrams that drop randomly or by earning Bright Dust from Seasonal/Weekly challenges (which are free).
Lastly, paid content has no impact on a player's ability to be good at the core of the game's content of PVE and PVP. Go have a look at the most used "meta" weapons currently, the vast majority of them can be unlocked in the free version of the game, the only ones that come via paid expansions are Funnelweb, Reckless Endangerment, and The Noob-Tube (Gjallarhorn).
Nice try Warframe fanboy, if you're salty about being trash at Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris (even though you've clearly never played it based on your nonsense narrative), maybe get good or go play Astro's Playroom instead?
