A few quick lobby races this morning, even got a 1st. Bought and modified a few cars, RX7 FD, MX5 ND and Viper GTS. A few random races to built some credits, then switched off to play some GT6 and GT sport.

Completed the Porsche cup, menu book 32 and I think the WTC 600 is next...not sure what car I should be taking for that one guess we'll see. Visually customized a couple of cars the E92 M3, Porsche 911 GT3 997...i can't save for nothing lol as I keep spending my credits just as fast as I'm earning them! 😂

Prioritize high HP cars that have space to "tune up" with racing Hards or better. Did so many attempts of the WTC 600 with the preorder Yaris that I ultimately had to tune down (completely forgetting the HP is not good comparatively). Game recommends the Ford GT I think, but you'll have no room to tune, and at the very least you need space to throw on IM tires for Red Bull Ring, which will bump up your PP from Sports Hards.

I ultimately settled with the Alfa 8C Competizione. Struggled a bit with the weather at RBR because it never REALLY went to Inter conditions, but did very well at Suzuka and Dragon Trail. You keep those two races clean with a car that is fast you'll make up so much ground.

Started up a new profile late yesterday, and when offered 20k to buy a minicar I backed out. Hope I`ll not get banned for this but I bought a microtransaction giving me 250k so I was able to buy the -70 Plymouth Super Bee while it was still in the "shop". Not the sexyest -70 Plymouth but it was a lot more fun as a starter than those FF-microcars.

Won every starter race easy off course, but it needed a tuneup to be more compatible. Ended up tuning it for the PP550 clubman cup; 425hp, sportstyres, 5sp + aero. Man I had some good races while tuning it. Took some time to make the suspension soft and forgiving while still in control, but after some 360`s I ruled the Clubman race with the old piece of iron.

Just paused now after finishing the 22th menu

football5599; go for a AWD (like the "used" Mitshubishi Lancer), put on wings, pump it up to ca400hp, sports suspension, medium sportstires, reduce weight stage 1.

Woah. I was not expecting to see it as low as 3 million (I'm using the word "low" very loosely here). Well, I guess I know what I'll be posting in here tomorrow then.
Well...I blew a considerable chunk upgrading/tuning a few cars from the UCD, so this definitely won't happen. Not this time, anyways. :P

Besides that, I finally finished the rest of my licenses. All golds on B through IA, but man, the Super license really toasted me. Admittedly I was a bit impatient since I just wanted to get it done, though I did manage to gold S-2 at least. Silvers on everything else, but I'll come back later to get them all to gold. I'll be putting off S-10 for as long as I feel like it.

(Prize Car Spoiler) I was stoked to see you get the Audi R8 Evo just for completing it. Now I'll see how it stacks up to my FT-1 GR3's lap time (6:34.xxx on RS tires) on the 'Ring.

Raced in the GT Sport A race with the Mini. Went on YouTube to copy the first tune I saw, came 2nd multiple times which is good enough. Now working up a JUN Hyper Lemon livery for the R33.

More of the Ranch. :banghead:

Then completed/won:
  • Circuit Experience Fishermans Ranch
  • Circuit Experience Mount Panorama
  • Circuit Experience Broad Bean Raceway
  • Circuit Experience Tokyo Expressway East Clockwise
  • Circuit Experience Tokyo Expressway East Counterclockwise
  • Autopolis WTC 700
  • Fuji Speedway WTC 800 (holy hell, I’m awful in rain (loathe it), thought I would fail to win this as I hadn’t even made up a single position in three laps but AI seemed to mess up their pit strategies)
... and bought the Porsche 917K ’70 :nervous::confused::ouch::lol:

Started building my 98 Nissan Silvia, already did all the Aero and a nice livery.

Also got my daily workout 4 star roulette ticket and I got....yes you guessed it, 5.000 credits! Has anyone made a ''this is worthless''- meme with the roulette tickets yet?

The Maserati GranTurismo is what I used for WTC 600, the nice thing about it is not only will a 600 tune work for the WTC but you can also use it for the Euro championship as well should you want to go re-run that a time or two, and there's way more than enough headroom to upgrade it for the WTC 700 to go kick some Gr.4 cars around. It's a bit expensive but you get a lot of opportunities to use it, so it can be a good investment if you're the type that likes using the same car for as many things as possible.

Today I put down 450 miles and bought an Enzo Ferrari. Most of that 450 was running H.S. Ring in the Gr.4 Toyota to gather the remaining 1.5m to buy the Enzo. I got side tracked on some 600\700pp races in the Evo X and C7 ZR1. Ran some Ferrari and GT-R events as they pay a bit and break up the grind at the ring. I now have bought the F40, F50, Enzo, and La Ferrari. I just need 3.6m for the FXX K before the 19th when the invite runs out.

Hey I’m trying to decide between the Enzo and the Laferrari by tomorrow for my invite. Does the Enzo handle better? Can’t decide which way to go lol

Picked up my first win in GT7 during the Nations Cup first race, got 3rd in Qualifying, nailed the start and got stuck into chasing the leader, got by with a beauty move into turn 1, and wasn't more than .5 of a second ahead of 2nd...good way to end the day

Got the silver at S-10, that was also first finished lap in this hell license.
Was driving extremely slow whole backstraight (before chicane) bcs I don't see where dry line is...
Don't know will I be able to gold it, whenever I have good lap (or not), I spin at that part.
Yup, 9/10 times I fail eau rouge, when I do get through I fail somewhere else and if I get to the end of a lap the high speed corner always gets me unless I go so slow that I get silver :( Haven't got gold yet either, all the other licenses were pretty easy compared to S-10.

Yahoo , no need to worry about missing this when i'm away on Holiday in a few weeks .

Went from 19 Million Plus CR to erm not a lot .

Also it took me from Level 34 to Level 44 in one instant

Slighty broke now , oh well this is the car I was after my number 1 wanted so happy as as hell .

Might even take it out on a wet circuit . I heard Spa is quite nice :dopey:

Mindlessly lapped Daytona oval a few times this morning to see what my daily bonus would be - 2,000 credits from a 1* ticket, wonderful.

I've barely spent anything the last few days and I'm only up to 2.8M credits so haven't got the Sauber yet, and now seeing another 18M credit car in the showroom. 🤯 I've worked so long getting this much cash, I'm no longer even sure I want to spend it on the Sauber.

Maybe it's time to face up to the fact that I can't be arsed to grind the Ranch for all eternity so I should just focus on buying and tuning low end stuff until Kaz deems us worthy to grace us with some decent races. When they eventually arrive, I'll think about getting myself a Gp.2 and work up from there, and maybe be able to add the McLaren F1 to my collection some time in 2027 (or abandon the idea entirely if a more rewarding game comes along).

An accurate simulation of the frustration of never being able to afford the car you really want and looking on longingly from afar, while absolutely not having a chance to drive it for yourself. Is that what he was going for all along?

Finally finished the 3 Porsche races. Have to admit had to change the difficulty from Hard to easy for the 1st time. I just couldn’t catch that lead car in time for 1st. Spent loads on upgrades and messing with the tune. Just had to move past it lol.

Dirt races are really sucky... But this is what the game is about, yes, chasing the rabbit, but also putting the moves on the other cars and simply enjoying the car, the sounds (notice the subtle squeals when on the limit) and the best track in the world..

Cutting through!

How are you getting YT videos? Do you use a capture card or is there a way to direct upload?

Me? Trying to podium the GT Cup Gr.3 race (4 chili peppers) at Daytona. It's been kicking my ass.
This is one of my favorite races because of the challenge. I've probably done it 25 times and won maybe six, mostly coming in P3 (not counting the first time when I came in P13!).

I've had the best luck with the Jag Gr3 car. That car you can leave it on max fuel for the whole race; pit on lap 5 to refill and be good to go. Thing is, the AI don't take tires, so you'll either have to go with the same set or try and make up that lost six seconds. I've done both but I am not good at tire management so I usually take new ones. On a good day I'll be up into P1 by lap 3-4, pit on lap five, take tires, and have to fight the top few cars again (which makes it really fun). Often the top two will drive away from me and I'll get P3 but that's it. Sometimes, though, i am able to catch them.

Won it ~4ish times in the Jag, twice in the Vette (fuel mode 1 on teh oval and 2 on the infield), and have tried many times in the Ford GT '18 but you have to nerf the car so much I've not been able to. Also tried a few times in the Viper GT-R but I have to run fuel more 5 & 6 the whole race to keep it a one-stopper so it really kills the performance. Going to keep trying. I do love the challenge.

Its the PS4/PS5 that does the work. I start and stop the recording on the Controller.
To share it i have connected one of my YouTube accounts with PSN and from there i can share it.
I usually share it as hidden and add the description etc via YouTube and set it online when it the encoding is finished.

Last night at N24

Sharing this way provides the best quality vs using the app that lets you edit on the Playstations

Trial Mountain Cup 2 x 2 lap races no restrictions apart from using a American Car , but no limits , less than 9 mins for both , 2 x clean races plus the cup prize nets you 100,000cr .

Will give this a go today. Might use my Gr3 Viper just because.

Another good one is the Schwartzman (I probably butchered that spelling) around the Ring. I bought the 911 GT Road Car so it's a cake walk. I think it's worth 60k with clean race. So not a ton, but not bad for ~ 7.5 mins and to break up the monotony.

I think it has to be a roadcar , I use the Camaro ZL1 1LE 2018 , which you can win via the books menu , full tune soft slicks , just way over the top and your in the lead by the end of lap one

Raced it now; got 20g for even a "dirty" win (x2) + 60.000 for the cup.

Did my first engine swap. A 964 911 engine into the Beetle. removed the bumpers, added the large wing, tow strap and put it in the livery editor. Decided to put a decal that reads "NO FEAR" on it, as you'd be pretty fearless to drive such a lightweight car with almost 450 ponies after swapping then tuning.
