So what're your plans for it?As of 9:48 AM Eastern (1:48 PM GMT), I have finally reached the credits cap in the game after nearly two weeks of hard work and and a lot of bouncing around in a Quattro.
I am going to be as frugal as possible. I will spend it on some things and earn it right back doing random races. So what're your plans for it?
Yeah, I know about that. I'm checking literally every carThere is a good amount of information if you go into your garage and then far right - collection I think, then clicking on your cars. Not near PS so can't check exactly how/ where, but I'm sure you'll find it.![]()
Did do some more daily races though. Not really a fan of Race C but really enjoying Race B on Interlagos. I'm using the McLaren loaner car which just feels really nice to drive.
I found that out the hard way. I did music rally while it was installing the game to my harddrive. I turned off the PS5 before it finished doownloading and I went back the next day thinking I would just have to sit through the intro but no I had to do music rally againBe warned, Music Rally doesn't save either if you're offline.
It was going to be the thing that gets me through my occasional internet drops or the server maintenances. Why bother though.
Thank you!Worry not, they will still talk to you. I was afraid of missing them too, but after I finished the game I brought my Corvette there and still had the dialogue option. Unfortunately, it seems that a good chunk of cars have no dialogue at all...
The Café is the first place I go for every new car I get/buy and to be honest, it's been quite a while since Chris had something to say to me...
Switched to a wheel last year. It’s honestly one of the hardest things to do. It’ll come faster than you think though.Continuing getting used to a wheel. Did the race in the 911 cafe event at Spa. Still need practice using both feet to drive so I quit out, drastically reduced the power of my 911 and was glad to have done so when the rain came. By going slower I was able to go faster.
I did another 3 hour endurance run on N24 last night, victory achieved!

It was a weird one. Second place was not far behind coming on the final lap. Ricci pitted and the timer reached 0 when he was getting fuel, so the game finished him when he left the pit. So I ran the final lap alone as was the last to finish the race

RNG didn't include the Pug L750R Hybrid this time, McLaren VGT is easier to catch.
The AI is so weird. On that final 'victory' lap a lapped R92CP flew by while an SRT Tomahawk set the fastest lap, nearly 40 sec faster than my fastest lap. The catch up boost is out of control!
Here are some of the highs and lows of that race with all the beautiful vistas
First a bit of following the AI, then passing a XJR-9 that kept braking early then speeding up as soon as I come alongside. What a troll! Followed by a 787B that pit manoevers me on the middle straight ugh.
Then it gets dark, really, really dark. I was curing the weak headlights of the Sauber C9, driving more on feel than on vision, muscle memory to the rescue. Then at the end of the lap I realize I don't have my lights on 🤣 driving around with city lights
Next passing a lapped car at night, those blue lights are really bright. Don't get too close to the car ahead, blocks out all the light apparently. Then the rain hits, heavy downpour at night. The AI didn't see it coming as usual so easy pass to first. Ricci got he boost though after changing tires, quickly catches up and barges past. I pass him again while he's getting fuel, but he simply rubber bands back over and shoots past again.
Then as I'm closing on him I touch the kerb in T1 which alters my path off the dry line and I lose all traction on a still wet section. Spinning like I'm suddenly on ice. Do not go off the dry line after changing back to normal tires! It takes a couple laps before the rest of the track dries out.
I catch back up, pass Ricci on the straight but he makes his way past again at the end of the straight on my outside, the AI does use softs while I'm on hards to make 5 laps on one tank. Ricci spins out in T1 and stays behind the rest of the lap, where he pits and I drive the final lap by myself.
Fun race, I want to do another one tonight but need some sleep as well, choices...
The loaner McLaren is really nice to drive isn't it! I think I might actually buy it when the loan ends.Edit: well done on your 5th! 👏
I've just done exactly the same, also with my loaner McLaren. Three races and not punted off once. Nice change from last week at Daytona.
Definitely is on rails. I tried the BMW M6, but it was too much of a beast to control. I could do okay time trials (close to the 1:34.0 I managed in the McLaren), but I knew in a race my careful right foot would be compromised by adrenalin. The loaner McLaren is really nice to drive isn't it!
It happened to me as well.Tried getting into the Manufacturer cup twice and failed both times. 6PM and 7PM UK slots and got an error both times whilst sat in the pit box. Not sure if this now means I can't do the rest of the races... bit of a bummer if so!
I got held for ages at the start of Qualifying in the 6pm Manufacturer Cup too. A few people gave up and left, but it eventually released everyone with just enough time to get a single lap in. Qualified 8th from that and managed to finish 2nd in the McLaren GT3.Tried getting into the Manufacturer cup twice and failed both times. 6PM and 7PM UK slots and got an error both times whilst sat in the pit box.
