On the Plus account, I took the 800PP-tuned Corvette Gr.3 (on racing hards) to Spa for the 1-hour race. Before I entered fuel-conservation mode at the end of lap 5 because the rain was a bit slow in coming, I turned a sub-2:20 lap and caught up to the leader (Portilla and his Viper). I turned the fuel management mode to 6 to make it through lap 7, kept contact with Portilla, and the rain came about 2/3rds of the way through that lap.
Surprisingly, Portilla didn't come down pit road, which was his downfall. I did, and slapped some heavy wet tires on along with a full load of fuel. None of the other front-runners came down on lap 7 either, which meant I took the lead before the end of lap 8, and stretched it out to nearly a minute before I spun off on lap 11 to lose, at the time, about 25 seconds.
I stayed out a lap too long on the heavily-degraded wet tires, as I lost the lead coming into the pits at the end of lap 14 to take racing hards and fuel. Fortunately, everybody else had to make a stop, and despite staying with FM6 to save fuel, I took the win by close to a minute.
I then detuned it to 730PP to do the last European race I hadn't done, the Gr.3 at Spa. That was an easy win. I took the usual low-cash insult on the 2-star marathon roulette for 5,000 Cr.
