What did you do in GT7 today?

I finally got the 1.27 update downloaded. My internet is incredibly poor and the always-online is awful when these updates are 1GB+.

I won a Bore Up S for the 2003 Audi and accidentally deleted it. I also won carbon ceramic brakes for a Hyundai in a parts ticket and another AMG A45. Awful day back.

Played some GT7 and I was so bored I couldn't even blink - then I took my F1500 and wanted to random laps at the Nürburgring, hit a couple wrong buttons and suddenly I was at circuit experience with the Mercedes GT3. Yeah why not? Golded everything on my first try, only the full lap I had to do twice because I slipped in one corner and got silver the first time. Got almost half a second off of the Gold time, I think thats not bad, the million credits isn't bad either.

Bought an S800, a Dino, a '95 Integra and a 911 RS CS (993). I then drove the S800, Dino and Integra back to back on Sardegna C before wheeling out my MKI Golf GTi and 911 Turbo (930). It was fun to compare them all on the same track. I then took the 911 RS CS to Catalunya and drove it on the short course. After that I bought the MKIV Ford GT and the LM Race Car Spec II, driving them on Watkins Glen and Laguna Seca respectively.

I retired my T150 in favor of a T-GT II. The difference in feel is night and day, though there is a vertical flex on my desk with the T-GT that wasn't there with the T150. At least it doesn't want to slide off the desk.

On the Plus account, I used the Scirocco Gr.4 for my Sarthe grind. The 3-star marathon roulette yielded a 2011 Renault Megane R.S. Trophy, which I hung onto as I only had 1 before today. I also grabbed the Ferrari 500 Mondial out of Hagertys.

On the GTP account, I used the Corvette Gr.4 for the Sarthe grind. The 3-star Wheel of Despair was its usual stingy self, giving the low-showing 10,000 Cr.

You don't have to use the same car over and over again. There are so many options.
Any road car above 640-650 PP, gives you an easy win. The closer to 700 PP, the easier the win. AMG, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Ford, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, etc. No need for tuning, only the Intermediate Tyres set. Adjust the Fuel map accordingly (usually 5 or 6), and go!
I used a 700pp s2000 and lost... I came in second... I was probably 5-10 seconds out but had to drive basically flawless to win with that specific car... The s2000 is just not good enough and I'd assume some other cars are not too even if you bring it up to 700pp

On my second account (still learning wheel, it's going great) I finished enough Menu Books to access Sport Mode. Went to St Croix, grabbed the WRX, and jumped into some sport mode races. Started last or 2nd to last in both races I did, finished in the top 10 (up 4 spots was my best) and started feeling comfortable with what I can make the car do on a wheel compared to controller. Give me till New Years and I feel like I'll be starting to chase my controller qualifying times.

Onward and upward!

5 daily workouts, all resulting in 3-star prizes of 5000cr or 10000cr which is pretty unlucky... the odds for that at random are rather low at 0.058% :guilty: I just want those special parts damnit!

I entered Daily race A qualified 2nd and was taken out on 1st lap which is expected because these are mostly cavemen. I entered Daily race B and the game froze while loading the track. Which was annoying because I had about 12 minutes of qualifying.... I entered Daily race C and was taken out on the first lap to last place and fought my way back to 2nd place on last lap. 1st spins out and I'm about to pass and I get error ce8588tirjebsskiblah blah blah... 😑 I'm guessing 1st "spun" because he got disconnected too. What a joke this game has become. It's almost always a negative experience now.

I finally finished my last video of the year! Wanted to make a showdown of the blacklist cars from the first Need for Speed Most Wanted, then i had a better idea : recreate the race entrance for all of them! Took me like 2 week. It was pretty hard to find some spot, while trying to not use them twice. I managed to make every ones in Tokyo to keep a urban theme, and i'm really happy of the result.
So, here's my Christmas gift for community. Have a good end of year everyone and see you in 2023!

I ran Sardgena with the 787b. got 10k from a 3* ticket. Bought another Celica. Got a set of BBS rims for Valkryie and did testing with it. Love that car. I took my modified C8 to Sardgena for a time trial and realized I still have some work to get it setup right

On the GTP account, I had flashbacks to the first part of the GT6 WRS qualifier with this week's WRS time trial. I then lapped the bottom half of the field at Sardegna with the Aston Martin DBR9. The Wheel of Despair gave the usual low-showing 10,000 Cr., but at least it was a 4-star Wheel of Despair today.

On the Plus account, I ran the Porsche 911 RSR at Sardegna, The all-car 4-star marathon roulette gave a Tundra, which I hung onto because I only had one. I could have had a C8, or I could have had a safety car (Renault and Toyota) or one of the BRZs. As I have the 2021 Toyota GR010 HYBRID on the GTP account, I bought the other Brand Central car I don't have on the Plus account, the 3,600,000-Cr. 2016 McLaren McLaren P1 GTR. That leaves the GR010 and 30 Hagerty's cars worth 267,350,000 Cr. That's right - my entire garage (424 unique purchasable/soon-to-be-purchasable cars, 36 duplicates of those 424, and 3 pre-order/25th Anniversary cars that cannot be purchased) is worth just under 24,000,000 Cr. less than the 31 cars I don't own.

As it was after midnight GMT, I went back to the GTP account to buy 2 1981 Porsche 911 Turbo (930)'s for future engine purposes.

I fully upgraded my yellow Evo V and took it to Road Atlanta. Then I fully upgraded my Mitsubishi GTO before taking it out to High Speed Ring. Not completely satisfied with the exterior, I gave the car a widebody and a bigger rear wing so it was bit more "race car" and sure enough, it was. The car handled Maggiore really well. I then drove my BMW M3 E30 Sport Evolution on Sardegna C. After that upgraded my Mustang Boss 429 a little more and put a modern livery on it before taking it to Willow Springs. I then drove the Jaguar F-Type R on Dragon Trail Gardens after changing the colour and adding a medium-sized rear wing.

I'm working my way through the Cafe books on the backup account to unlock everything. Only use it for anonymous online racing so will sell any non-race cars and just have a proper Sport Mode garage, with my own liveries rather than renting the standard cars.

Took the Chiron out to LeMans. It's much better than I thought it would be. I did have to do a little gas-saving to get to 2 laps. The AWD is nice in the rain. The guttural exhaust note is different, too. Dominating car there. I waited at the finish line with a 3 minute lead.

The wheel spit out another Ferrari invitation.

After 5 months of no Ferrari invite. I decided to spend the credits I saved for the Enzo, LaFerrari and FXX on the Carrera GT, 918 Spyder and the Ferrari 500 Mondial from the legendary dealer.

I've been laps round the Green hell for the past 2 hours in the Last 918 Spyder and it's absolutely mental but I love it.

Santa if your listening. Please can I have a Ferrari invitation for GT7 as I've had the game half a year and still been able to purchase one of the Holy Trinity's of Hypercars!

It's so funny how sometimes once you get one invite they keep showing up. I got 2 Aston Martin invites with 4 days then I had a couple show up since. I need another Bugatti invite because I had one about a month ago and I was like I don't want a Bugatti now I need one for the extra menu

Sorry, I got another Ferrari invite today that I don’t need. Wish I could give it to you. I had the same trouble with the Pagani invite. Waited forever so I could buy another.

On the GTP account, I ran the Silvia Touring Car at a dry Sarthe on stock settings. I played with the fuel map to make the fuel last 4 laps, which was needed as the 31:23 it took to turn 7 laps was good for only a 19 second win.

I hoped against hope that the appearance of the Ferrari VGT would be enough to clear the latest iteration of the progression bug, but my win at the Monza Hyper Car Parade with the FXX K didn't register again. Instead, I took the usual lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. from the usual 4-star Wheel of Despair.

I then collected my bronze reward for the online time trial. I took a look at the new one, saw that tuning is required to get anywhere close to bronze, and said, "Nope."

On the Plus account, I overcame a bad tire decision (full wets on lap 2 as it looked like it would pour) with a pair of sub-4:19 laps at the end with the GT by Citroen Gr.4. The usual 3-star Wheel of Despair wasn't impressed, giving the usual low-showing 10,000 Cr.

On the Plus account, I dragged out a GT classic for Sardegna - the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car. It netted me a 6-star marathon roulette, which netted me a Honda 2&4.

On the GTP account, I took the Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.3 for the Sardegna run. The 4-star Wheel of Despair that netted me spat out the usual lowest-possible 10,000 Cr.
