Bought the new cars, played around with the SF23, started the new Menu Book and won one of the races so far. Used my old SF19 for the job, though.
Did some test runs to get familiar with the SF23 and it behaviour on the Menu Book tracks, then decided it needs the Williams FW14B livery and slapped it on. Bit bummed about the car not getting any different tyre stickers, except for the stock one. Doesn't fit my livery, so now it has blancs.
Completed the GT40 extra menu and got 500K credits for the ticket.

Completed the Shelby menu, got 6 stars ticket which gave me 500,000 credits and that got me just above 1 mil. Proceeded to buy the xj220. Now only have just under 450,000 credits left in my bank....guess I'll be doing some grinding tomorrow. Quite a few other cars from the legendary dealership that I want to get.

I finally started Gone with the Wind mission last night and thought the 1st mission (Mixed Class Race Overtaking 2) was quite enjoyable. I wanted to see how much better I could do, so I played it some more tonight, and I ended up on top of the global ranking (as of now) :) Before I claimed the top spot, I actually set a time that was identical to that of the guy now in 2nd place (1:13.097).

Couple Tokyo grinds, bought some of the new cars with the 1.32 update, tried a couple of the new TT races. Roulette tickets were okay tonight.

Tuned the 700pp Viper to perfection 🥰

I took the Jaguar XRJ 9 to Sardegna to get some extra credits before I bought 4 XJ220s. Then I took the XRJ9 to Lemans to see if I could beat the 962 time. Not able to with the Jag. I went to the Legends dealer and grabbed the Jags. I found the PS2 liveries and put them on 2 cars, I maxed out the 3rd and a lovely dark green flake on it. The last one is stock. I might buy one more XJ220 just in case a V12 swap becomes available. Got 10k from a 3 ⭐ ticket

1. Visited some friends in Spa (x1), Sardegna (x2) and Le Mans (x4) ;)

2. ⭐⭐⭐ = Cr. 5.000 ....

3. Tried the RCZ on Lake Maggiore GT.3 race on few laps. Not sure yet which car I'll use to race the 1 hour mission.

O M G Can Gran Turismo 7 Races Be Won In Reverse?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

In GT5 a group of us friends did a backwards race. I let my son do it as he was better at the space awareness thing. Darned if he didn't win. It was a hoot! I did let my friends know that my son what at the helm. They were very supportive of bringing in young blood. My son plays GT7 now at his own place.

Bought 2 XJ220’s tuned one to the Max and ran in the Catalunya 800 but the car doesn’t have the grip to deal with the long sweeping curves so back to the drawing board.

Played with the vibration setting… was previously on 5 so turned to 50 and wow the difference is incredible. My G923 has come to life, I find myself deliberately running over the kerbs now.

Thought I’d try for Gold at the Olympics and with my improved immersion struggled to break the 1:18 barrier.

Thought Id see how Wind got on last night during his live stream. You won’t be surprised to know he nailed a 1:15.3. However what I did notice was he had his break bias set all the way to the rear of the car so giving this new setup ago I eventually got my time down to a 1:17.3
The key to the lap IMO is turn 3 which if caught right sets you up for the technical middle sector. With more practice I think a 1:16.9 is possible but no more.

On the GTP account, I bought 4 Honda S660's and 4 2015 Subaru BRZ's for future engine purposes, widening 2 of each. I then decided the Ferrari FXX K needed to go around Sardegna for 15 laps. It's a serviceable pace car, though one has to do both FM 6 and some fuel management to get 5 laps out of the tank.

The no-cash 5-star Wheel of Despair gave me another Bore Up S for the 2019 Toyota GR Supra RZ. Why couldn't it have gone one more spot to an engine? I know - then it might not have been a Wheel of Despair.

On the Plus account, I took the Subaru BRZ GT300 to Sardegna. It still is a grip monster, though its 26:56 finish was disappointing. What helped was Fraga was mired in traffic. I could have easily skipped one or possibly both tire changes.

The 4-star Wheel of Despair was more worthless than usual - it puked out a high lift cam shaft, and not even a "S" version.

Wow thank you for this I been wondering how many laps the FXX-K can do in that event pretty shocking cause my p1 gtr can do 7 laps on fm 6 so I thought the Ferrari would be the same.

I had to short-shift at just over 8500 rpm in addition to running FM6 to make it 5 laps on fuel, but it will turn 1:41 laps in my hands.

I lightly modified my Jaguar XJ220 before taking it out to Grand Valley. I then did the Super Formula races on St Croix and Fuji. I won the race at St Croix but finished a lowly 12th on Fuji because the AI are just too fast. After that I did the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm time trial on the Red Bull Ring and got the gold time without much hassle.

1:17 Am PST. New day, new milestones.

*Completed the Gr.2 Extra Menu for my engine ticket. Daylight will shed light on what it holds. I want to save it to PSN before trying my luck with the wheel of morality.
(Rolled it 3 times only to get the BRZ drift engine all three times. A LS7 powered Silvia just is not of interest to me. Ticket is good till 5/29 so maybe next update)

*XJ220 racecar tune & strategy video. Posted in the Tuning Sub-forum.

*Picked up a 3rd XJ220. Plans TBA

*Check off 700p at Watkins Glen and Laguna Seca

Took the XJ220 to Tokyo. Not my favourite race so I rarely run it. Stock gears were a bit long so I changed the gearbox, upgraded the brakes as well. 1 stopper for fuel only, going flat out, mostly 2:13s. Won by about 15 seconds with a CRB.

Finished the Alpine and Super Formula menu books - got 100K and an Enzo, a good day.

I ran 124 miles across the 3 time trials and managed silvers on all.
I’m using a controller at the moment, I can’t be bothered setting up the wheel and putting VR on this evening.

Olympic TT will stay silver but I’ll see how close I can get to gold with the wheel tomorrow.
1:18.340 currently.

Fuji TT is a second off gold, it should be easy to get over the line in the new merc, I’m loving that car.

RBR TT is 1:42.311 but I don’t have a good grip on the car yet.
I’m expecting many more laps on here to get gold :P

The 2-Star roulette paid out 30,000cr.
Not bad, but my lucks been used up now haha.

I took the Veyron to Tokyo but lost the CRB on the 10th lap so quit and I took a few pics from movie scapes with one of my XJ220s. Got 10 k from the wheel

Last night, I jumped on and bought my lost GT40 back and put a road plate on it, bought another Speedster to experiment on, and bought the White 3.0 CSL with M stripes. I took the GT40 out for a couple of races, but there are surprisingly few to choose from. Then, I took my trusty 911 RSR and did Watkins and Daytona WTC800 races to get back to 18 million. It was an expensive night! Oh, and also got 500K from the wheel of despair.

Now that I've bought all the Gr.1, 2, 3, 4 and B cars along with 90% of the legendary cars all the used cars and built up a lot of other cars in the game, I starting to buy out the manufacturers. I'm just grinding Tokyo with all sorts of different cars, making credits and buying cars. 370ish cars in the garage now, no repeats. I hope to have everything but the stupid expensive legendary cars by the end of May. Then I'll reassess if it is worth grinding anymore.
