Found this quality livery today, for anyone familiar with the yellow Racing Modified version of the XJ220 from Gran Turismo 2 days. ā¤ļø

Didnā€™t feel like grinding a whole lot tonight so I did LM in my SR20 swapped Fairlady Z 432 which I didnā€™t have a tune for and tried it after just buying all the upgrades and something was terribly wrong with the suspension, so I exited the race and tuned it myself which I donā€™t really know how to do but I managed to get the suspension and gearing good enough to pull off an easy win. Then I took my C8 Corvette for a round of Sardegna and then the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP for a round of Spa. I got a 6-star ticket worth a cool million credits so I ended the night with 12.1 million credits. Iā€™ve got the next 2 days off work so I wonā€™t have any problem getting the 25 million credits I will need for 2 more 95ā€™ F1 GTRā€™s when they reappear at the LCD.

Today I did something I never done I got silver on the online TT before I was lucky to even get bronze so it was amazing to get silver on 2 of the 3 TT the one in red bull and the Gr3 at Fuji I got silver, the TT in deepforest I just don't get that track I'm down to 18:912 but I just cant find the time needed to go below 18:600.

But either way that's 2.5M free credits coming my way in the next 10 days.:)
As long as no evil aliens come along and post so quick a lap that you drop out of the silver zone.
This has happened to me many times now, I usually don't bother trying to set a proper time unil the last couple of days.

Highlights from Saturday to Monday:
Bought a Ford gt40 mk I, Toyota SF23, AMG gt3 evo, a Shelby gt350 and 2 XJ220s.
Did the new races, won a Bugatti a invitation, bought all the cars needed to complete Bugatti extra menu, also bought the Alpine VGT, still waiting for the Cobra, the Shelby menu is the only one unfinished.
Tuned the gt40 and one XJ220 for 700PP with Praiano's settings. Drove the GT40 at Le Mans grind race and won outright. Next weekend I'm going to try the Jaguar.
Started modifyng my Coyote swapped Pantera for the Le Mans grinding race.

Have a good session yesterday (bank hols - 1 may), attacked the game for like 3hrs. Over that time I acheived this.
  • Firstly I attacked the Supra Racing car Tokyo Expressway CE and acheived GOLD in that. (SEE BELOW)
  • Then I tried to do the same on the Subaru GT3 Racecar on the clockwise Tokyo Express section. Didn't happen lol.
  • Moved onto Grinding and did some hypercar race on Lemans with my 700hp 20' supra. Got 115,000cr
  • Took the MAZDA 787B on the 30min longer Le-mans race, netted a cool 825k of credits.
  • Got a 4 star roulette ticket and unlocked a ****** Camshaft mod for Civic Type R, Geee, PD Thanks!
  • Then I thought, why not try the Rally Sardegna Windmills, as I just had the lap time attack trophy to take out and after a few tries got GOLD on that on that too, another 1,mil netted. (on about 75 million now!)
  • Lastly did some more practices run in my GR010 HYBRID before doing the Sport OLYMPIC online Time attack (seperate post with more info coming later), was not happy with these timings but gonna keep trying. :D

Did a few laps around RBR chasing TT Silver time, not so far, but I keep getting penalties with track limits...

Got a 6* !!! šŸ„³For parts šŸ˜”stage 5 weight reduction for Corvette C7 ZR1 '19...

Did a grind at Tokyo and another at Sardegna, bought the Alpine VGT to complete the extra menu 22, got the 5* ticket which brought me 100k... 1/10th of the Alpine VGT cost... cool I guess.

Bought the two Shelby 350GTR from '66 and '16 (or something like that), just need the Cobra to finish that menu (which will again cost at least 10 times what it will reward, that game is really genious)

I had a little time last night to jump on. I decided to do one very dry run at LeMans, got my 825k and left. After that, I decided to attempt the olympic and Fuji TT and got my silvers for each. I will probably go back in a few days and try to do a better time in the olympic TT, just for security. Still just patiently waiting for another F1 GTR and some more Porsches.

1. After few attemps, finally.... (sorry for the photo quality)

Spa francorchamps CE golded with the RSR šŸ„‡
Some advices:
  • practise the circuit as much as possible (the WTC800 1 hour race is a good training)
  • gold all the CE steps
  • for the final lap, display the demo ghost and follow his path as much as possible

2. āāā = Cr. 10.000 .... :indiff:

3. Bought the 4 last Japanese cars to complete my Asian car collection at 100% šŸ’Ŗ

4. Bought the Mangusta šŸ¤©

Just put 42 miles on the RBR TT,
my old time was 0.01% from dropping into silver.
I ended up with a great lap that was 0.9sec ahead of my next best for the session,
clocking a 1:39.570

My 2-Star roulette paid 10,000cr.

I think Iā€™ll have an early night and jump into a VR session tomorrow.
Plenty of menus ahead of me,
currently on Menu Book No. 22 (BMW M3 collection).

I did my first full races in my motion sim and VR <3 by completing the SF23 races then AFK'd some credit grinding back up to something like 98 mil. credits, enough for now.

Not much time today, but did a daily marathon on RBR TT.

Just improved my silver time a bit. I should have a clear silver now, and won't have time enough to try for gold.

Olympic TT I am still within Silver but I may have to improve it a bit to stay safe.

This will be a slightly detailed post so enjoy the read!

Today in GT7, I acheived my fastest time attack time on the "OLYMPIC time attack race series".
I managed to achieve a 1:17:924, which I thought was pretty good since I'm using a controller.

Check out my Toyota GR010 TIME ATTACK laptime recording off my PS5 here:

Now my slight gripe with this "OLYMPIC" Bop applied time attack event. On a practice run with a tuned TOYOTA GR010 HYBRID (with GAZOO RACING LIVERY), I achieved a time of 1:15:42 which can also be seen here on Youtube:

Watch in 1080p at 60fps for best effect!

Now the car has a tune to about 940bhp which is obviously not as limited in the actual online time trail. I just wanted to see the diffrence it made over the fast bits on the track raceway, compared to the limitations in BOP on the event.

My annoyance is that alot of fast drivers are achieving times like 1min 14 with the 640bhp stock GR010 HYBRID. Can they be making these rapid times with a proper setup and wheel, or they just have the persistance to jab at it for hours on end?
I am choosing not to fork out Ā£900 quid or more for a Logitec/Thrustmaster racing & seat/wheel setup combo at the mo, as it not affordable. But if I did I think I could shave off maybe 2-3 secs off this time realistically.

Would love to hear other member's feedback on how they tacklign this event and their SIM setups!

I wanna keep going and try my best as its a fun event to try and overcome and edge closer to success!

On the GTP account, I bought another Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.3 Road Car for future engine purposes as that's the 5th engine swap for April. It takes the new Suzuki engine, as does the 1989 BMW M3 for the 4th engine swap of April - no, not the Sport Evolution that just showed up in the UCD (info via @Nebuc72 and @Nenkai).

I finally broke the 3-star Wheel of Despair streak on this account. The 4-star marathon roulette didn't give cash, but it did give an Aston Martin DB11, which I didn't already have. I also bought another 2015 Honda Civic for this week's WRS time trial.

On the Plus account, I sent the Mazda RX-VISION GT3 CONCEPT to Sardegna. Had Fraga been on his game, it would have been a close win in 26:48. He wasn't. As for the car, it has an odd mix of a touch of off-throttle understeer and a lot of on-throttle oversteer, and it barely makes it 5 laps on fuel. The tires, however, should last 10 laps.

The second 3-star Wheel of Despair in a row (and 42nd of 111 workout tickets this year) gave the low-showing 10,000 Cr. on an all-cash wheel. That was enough to get the Ferrari GTO out of Hagerty's and knock down the number of cars I need to get to complete the collection on the Plus account to 17, at a cost of 169,450,000 Cr.

New objectives for this week:

- earn Cr. 24M to complete the Shelby challenge (if the Cobra 427 is available), to receive Le Mans silver trophy (if the Ferrari 330 and the Jaguar XJ13 are available) and to buy the last 4 Japanese cars still missing from my collection.

- get gold on IA-10 driving licence and on Spa track experience with the RSR
Work in progress... šŸ’Ŗ

Umm, yesterday now šŸ˜³ šŸ¤”

Looked for a 600pp JDM.

Then my son wanted to do some races with me in a lobby. I don't get to play much with him so I take it when I can. Showed him up in the final race just him and I. Viper GTS-R vs Viper Gr.3. No BOP, both full tilt.
Got some daily ticket in the process. Haven't looked at it yet šŸ„±

I took the Veyron to Tokyo. I didn't mes up the hairpin this time but on lap 10 I got into tussle with the AI and spun both of us and lost the CRB. I sold a few car and bought my fifth XJ220 for future engine swap purposes. Got the 787b engine from a 6* ticket which I immediately dropped in the RX -7. Went to GT Auto got some wheels and tried to paint it but I couldn't figure out what I wanted to some will come back to it later

Last night was another pretty small night. I did one completely dry LeMans race and a couple of other small races. I bought a third 356 Speedster just because I could. I think I'm starting to get bored with the game. The only thing that keeps me coming back is the LCD/UCD refreshes.

1. Top 5 on my first online race šŸ¤©
1683122962322.png

3rd place at the qualifications (such a surprise) and 4th after the race. I had some fingers issues (cramps) so it wasn't very comfortable but very fun experience! Because of the gap with the 3 first players, I imagine I was 1st in the category "controller player".

2. Won the trophy "First time in Sport mode" šŸ„‡

3. āāāā = Porsche invitation (already bought the Carrera GT)

Congratulations........ now you're serious infected by the online virus šŸ¤ .
And as am aware, no vaccine discovered yet .

Thanks my friend!
Infected, yes probably :)
But it's a shame, there's no option to search and add friends there (who's in charge of the user exeperience at PD?).

I accidentally did Daily Race B.
I donā€™t have PS+ on this profile but it allowed me to enter anyway, all I wanted to do was see what would happen if I tried haha.

I ran a GT Cup (Gr.3) at Daytona and managed 1st in the Mazda RX-Vision GT3.
I tried this race on controller last week and came 6th, so this time around I tackled it on the wheel.
1-Pit stop for fuel but kept the same RH tyres.
FM1 for the outside of the circuit, FM3 for the infield.
Finished 2sec ahead of the next guy, he kept pulling me in when I was fuel saving and grannyā€™n my tyres.

The 3-Star roulette paid 100,000cr.
Not too shabby!
