What did you do in GT7 today?

I hadn't been playing for a few weeks, so yesterday, I quickly got into silver range for the online time trial featuring the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm at Red Bull Ring, then tried out the Olympic time trial. I did indeed get into silver range for that, but I didn't even know I could adjust the settings until today, so maybe I'll give it another try, if only to improve my best time. I did get a three-star ticket that only netted me 5k credits for my daily workout, but I really don't mind.

I also bought the Alpine VGT Race Mode, as it was only car I needed for the Alpine menu, and I got 100k credits from the resulting ticket. If I really wanted to, I could buy both the original Shelby GT350 and the Cobra from the LCD, but they're not in the colors that I'd really prefer. Similarly, I could get the first-generation Ford GT40, but I'm frankly on a bit of a budget at the moment, where I'm trying to stay above 7.7m credits so that I can buy all three invite-only Ferraris if/when I become able to do so. Besides, the GT40 only seems to come in one color anyway, so I'm fine with waiting until it shows up again.

On the other hand, maybe I could just bite the bullet on the GT40, seeing how the online time trials are more frequent these days, and how the invites last for a whole month if I were to win one.

EDIT: I'm not sure if I'll have time to play today, but next time I do, I'll likely do that new Hypercar Parade round at Interlagos, using my Aston Martin Vulcan. I also am super-glad I won a Super Formula SF19/Toyota from a random ticket months ago, as now I can enter that into the new Super Formula races.

EDIT2: I also hope they haven't gotten rid of the six-star parts/engine tickets, as I don't think I've seen one as a potential Extra Menu reward for some time. Then again, that dataminer supposedly says we'll be able to straight-up buy engines/parts without relying on the random nature of tickets, too. Hopefully the invites will become similarly accessible...

1st, I bought the LaFerrari before my Ferrari ticket expired, then went for a few laps at Trial Mountain with it. It's truly a remarkable machine.

Then, I did the 30min race at LeMans. It was the 1st time I ever tried it. Tons of money where made and fun was had.

Cashed out my prize for golding the Alfa Romeo TT at RBR. Promptly bought the Gt40 MkII to complete the extra menu book. Then got the 2015 R8 LMS GT3 from the 6 stars tickets. Wish I got the pile of cash that was available from the roulette cause now my account is at 4K after that GT40 purchase....can't wait for the payout from the other TT events. Unfortunately I won't be playing for a few days so no grinding that money back right away.

1. Bought the Cobra 427 for Cr 2.500.000 🤩

2. Went to Spa with my Toyota TS030 for 25 easy laps (Cr 1.500.000)

3. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Cr. 500.000 (daily marathon) 🥰

4. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Porsche 919 Hybrid (ticket from the Shelby collection) - Sold for Cr 2.064.940 🥰

5. This morning, I made Cr. 4.065.940 in 1 hour 🥇 And you, what about your Thursday?

Objectives for this week:

- earn Cr. 22M to complete the Shelby challenge (if the Cobra 427 is available), to receive Le Mans silver trophy (if the Ferrari 330 and the Jaguar XJ13 are available) and to buy the last 4 Japanese cars still missing from my collection.

- get gold on IA-10 driving licence and on Spa track experience with the RSR
6. Visited some friends in Le Mans, Spa and Sardegna ;)

7. Won my first race online (BrandHatch) 🥇 - 3 races, 3 top 5, 1 won.

8. Finished the day with Cr. 10M in bank (still need Cr. 11.500.000 for the Jaguar XJ13 and the Ferrari 330)

9. I wish you a pleasant day/evening/morning depend on where you live :)

On the GTP account, after collecting my 1,000,000 Cr. from the online time trial, I took the Alpine VGT Race to Sardegna. It will get the job done, though unhappily. Had I not been stuck in traffic for 2 laps, including a yellow flag, it would have been a sub-26:40 race. The only good things I can say about this dump truck are that the tires do last more than 15 laps and the fuel lasts 6.

The 3-star Wheel of Despair continued (3rd of 4 on this account for the month to go along with 3-for-3 on the Plus account thus far), with the all-too-familiar smallest-possible 5,000 Cr. being spewed out.

On the Plus account, I took the Volkswagen Beetle Gr.3 to Sardegna. On the plus side, it will last 10 laps on tires. On the minus side, it is set up to plow except when you try to put the throttle down in 1st or 2nd - the combination of a short wheelbase and short gearing to accommodate a 7th gear means snap-throttle oversteer is a threat. I needed the 10-lap tire stint because Fraga was his usual post-1.31 alien self - 26:41 with a fast lap of 1:40.8 was good for only a 6.7-second win.

Good news/not-so-bad news on the Wheel of Despair front - for the first time this month, it wasn't a 3-star. Instead, the 4-star gave the low-showing 30,000 Cr., passing up an engine to do so.

@MIE1992, the parts/engine tickets were still there as of 1.31 - I got an engine ticket on the Plus account on 4/11 and a parts ticket on the GTP account on 4/12. The odds aren't very good of getting one - for those at or above Collector Level 20, one of the 6-star tickets (I'm currently guessing the base) has a 3% chance of showing up, and the other two 6-stars have 2% chances each of showing up.

Since I had an Ultra High Speed turbo for a ‘17 Nismo GTR, I went ahead and bought one. At LeMans, I originally ran it detuned at 700pp. A bit underwhelming. I then maxed it out at 992 HP. Now it really rocks. Ran a 3:37 with some overdriving errors. Got 30k from the wheel.

I wasn't playing when I said I wanted those 3 Ferrari's.

FXX-K - X17
Laferrari - X10
Enzo - X9

I'm broke again down to 323K but no regrets I love this 3 cars and finally getting to own and drive them is wonderful. :)
I guess we know what your "got to catch them all" is.

Meanwhile, I just woke up from my stuiper.
"Wait, I bought 3 Jag's?!"

Grind! 4 races worth. Trying to get that 330 in LCD before it leaves.

Got this doing it. Have to wait to see what it holds till later.

^ Gave me a Stroke kit for a BRZ '15. I will wait for the update.

Bought the Ford GT40 MK I, Ford GT, Alpine A110 and Alpine VGT Race Mode to complete the relevant extra menus. I then drove the GT40, Ferrari F40 and Alpine VGT Race Mode around Monza. After that I did the Super Formula race on Fuji again in the SF19, with a personal best result of 2nd after luck finally went my way with the AI. I then modified my GTO Judge to make it a bit more modern from a driveability standpoint and took it to the High Speed Ring. After that I drove my stock Suzuki Swift Sport (the latest one) and my modified 350Z around the Nurburgring. Again.

1. Bought the Ferrari 330 P4 🤩 (now, I'm really broke, not like @Chikane_GTR )

2. Silvered the Grand Valley South and Fuji Speedway at the TT (but not sure it will be enough)

3. ⭐⭐⭐ = Cr. 10.000 ... :indiff:

Objectives for this week:

Turned a Mitsubishi GTO into a race car and took it to the Grand Valley Clubman Cup. 80,000 credits for less than five minutes of driving. Not bad. The REALLY fun/interesting part of driving the GTO is that the 4 wheel steering means you don't have to countersteer when you break traction you can just keep in the corner and the car will find grip again.

Last night was a very productive night for me. Actually it all started a few nights ago from my gold on the S-10 license test at SPA with my time of 2:24.568

Last night:
- Lowered by Olympic TT time to 1:18.009 (which I feel should secure my silver)
- Bought the Ferrari 330 P4 ‘67, my missing legendary car
- took a few scapes to tick off a few trophies
- earned my very first ever Platinum trophy!!

I then worked on a new Supra livery. I hate driving the meta car and I always try to be different but my 2013 Nismo (I love this car for some reason) just can’t keep up with the all the Supra’s out there. I’m a low B driver and can’t seem to get improve anymore. Can’t beat them, might as well join them. Kinda sad.

Congrats with Platinium. I am slowly working my way there too :-)

Today I got silver on Fuji within two laps, 0.8 from gold. Thats not normal for me. I think this will be my first gold.

2nd race at Le Mans 700pp. Won with the 458 Italia GR4. I'm starting to like this race a lot.
Welcome to the club.
I already run one and preparing my C group Jag to take the dust out of her .
Hope to rain " chair legs " ( an expression we use a lot here ) cause am on the lazy side couple of days now.
So isn't bad at all to wait 4 plus min. at the race start avoiding 7th lap

Last night was expensive! I bought 3 more 964 RSs, 2 more 993 CSs, and another 930. Also included the Alpine VGT and Cobra purchases for the menus and immediately sold them after I got the tickets. I went to do a replica 993 GT2 and found out you can’t turbocharge the Clubsport 993.

Ran Sardegna and Spa with the F-1500 with no driving assists of any kind, no ABS, no countersteer, nothing. I did turn on the driving line and brake zones at Spa once it got dark, but Sardegna was no assistance at all. That brought me to almost 4 million in the bank. I've bought every car available to me from all three dealers and bought all the wheels and paints too. I'm just waiting for the 20 million credit card and a Martin invite to come around, and I already have the crazy expensive Porsche. I may run the Spa race with it and no assists to train for gold on that license test.
I also took the F-1500 to Road Atlanta and won but could not earn the CRB there. That was two nights ago.
My little gaming time yesterday was spent on Kane's Wrath where I put up a solid fight versus a Reaper 19 opponent who ultimately cleaned us all off the map about three times over.

Raced the super formula car around Watkins Glen again to psyche myself up for the Formula 1 practice I'm attending today. It will be the first time I see an F1 car in person. 🤩
I did the same race last night and it was absolutely epic.

Enjoy the F1 - I've only been to one F1 race (Monza) and Free Practice was pretty much my favourite part, hope you have a great time!!

Finally fired the game up for the update. Was able to clear some extra menus as some of my missing cars were available. Picked up the XJ220(actually 2) and did a max tune. Is pretty solid for the Sardegna 800 race, with the tune i found here, and enjoyable. Ran that twice so far and will likely run it a few more times. Guzzler of gas but makes up with no need to change tires.

Tried to cheat the drift missions but even with the cheat I am unable to gold them...

Gave a go with the GT51, comfortably sitting in bronze, not so far from silver, I need more consistency. I am able to gain 1s in the first sector, but I lose it afterwards. Silver should be at reach with a bit of training and the help of some lap guides. AT seems to be quite a handicap in the last straight 🤷‍♂️

Did one Sardegna grind to get some credits for the Ford GT40 '66

DW brought a 4* which ended in 30k, not helpful to get the GT40...

This video is very helpful:

I've already watched it, but before trying the car on this track, so I'll practice a bit more before being able to digest the video.

On the GTP account, I dusted off the WTC 700-killer Ford Focus RS and took it to Sarthe. In addition to the credits, I got an engine Wheel of Despair, which spat out yet another LS9 Corvette engine. Never mind I still had 12 from the jubilee, with all 6 copies of the Trans Am I could possibly want to install it into already swapped.

On the Plus account, I continued the Gr.4 retest at Sarthe with the Renault Megane. It won't do 4 laps on fuel or 7 laps on tires, and the best lap time I could get was 4:21.4 on a mostly-dry track. Worse, I got rammed and spun while obeying a yellow flag. Still, proper planning prevented piss-poor performance, so I got the easy win.

The 6-star parts Wheel of Despair gave a Bore Up S for the BAC Mono. Guess I should be happy it wasn't carbon brakes.

Ran some Wicked TT, got a 1:22.300. Solid Bronze, far away from Silver. Retuned an XJ9, ran Sardegna. Going through my Special Parts and found a stroke-up for a '02 NSX. Installed it, lowered the PP a little and ran LeMans with it. Great car. Got 10k from the wheel.

It was great. The couple I sat next to were also Alonso fans so that was cool and they also said practice was their favorite day because it was a more relaxed atmosphere.

Its not only relaxed, you fill up from F1 on first day .
Also qualifying are the top part ,cars and drivers at their limits and if you sitting on the right place you can see and feel the difference.
In the Sunday race many parameters are involved, tactics, saving tyres ,fuel ,pit stops etc . and many times are not interesting and that depends prity much on the track layout.
But whatever it is qualifying is spectacular, especially at street circuits that flirting an inch from the barriers .
What you see and observe there can't be repeated in any race .
Have fun .
