Just been grinding and doing some Circuit Experiences lately. I decided that I want to get a million collector points so I’ve been buying a lot of cars from the LCD and UCD. I’ve now got 6 962C, 3 917K, and 4 CLK-LM but I have the credits for a 5th CLK and I’m waiting for the F1 road car and I’m getting number 3 and 4 of those whenever they drop and I’ve had the 40 million credits for what seems like forever now.

I’ve been getting silver in the sectors for the CE and just settling for Bronze for the lap. I couldn’t manage silver in the Rally courses nor the final sector of Le Sarthe. I have not tried Nurburgring or Asia yet either but I finished all the American courses and most of Europe.

Got a 4-star ticket that spat out the 458 Italia engine and I already have the only swap for that already so I’m not too excited about it.
I have.:sly:

For Christ sake @Chikane_GTR , you're that close to be the Bollywood " Billionaire " of GT7 version .
You have more car copies than a Bollywood film have dancers.👀

Is there somewhere on this website that lists the good instructional videos that are out there to help a driver improve?
Check Youtube, there are plenty of content creator's that do lap guides and instructional videos, like @Mistah_MCA @Tidgney @super_gt @Blayney (a short list of content creator that also are members of this forum)

1. Improved my PB at Brands Hatch at 1:43.076.... with a 0.5 penalty :banghead: So, I should be able to gain 1 second to get closer from the yellow medal if I drive correctly :dopey:
Indeed, it's easier to get closer to gold without penalties...: 1:42.379 😍 !
Still not fan of that car but now, I only need few tens for the yellow medal and it should be ok if aliens are busy somewhere else.
Next goal: score below 1:42.000 :)

Wow, really appreciate being mentioned next to the big guns! I'm nowhere near their level and can't do as much content with full time work and a 12 week old, but yeah hopefully some of my videos are helpful to people! Latest one just went up as I've gone 8th in the world on the Brands Hatch time trial

I've just seen one of your posts a few min before, that's the reason you came to my mind. I am sure your videos are helpful too !

Having no PS Plus subscription I was relying on free multiplayer weekends from PSN to rack up those sport mode races.
It was mostly painful experience, but here we are:

Having that online racing nonsense out of the way I can safely return to time trialing which I love and grinding credits for those insanely expensive cars.

Today I tried to improve my time for the Watkens Glen TT. I got down to 1.56.6xx. if I keep at it I'm sure I could get gold on this one.

I also bought the Ferrari 500 Mondial then I decided to try and gold "the sun also rises" missions so I could win the fridge car. I didn't think I would be able to find another thing in GT7 that I absolutely despise but I did. That stupid expert drifting mission took me nearly 100 miles and countless of tries to gold it. I was so annoyed after I did it, I decided to just try and gold all the other drift missions so I never have to go back to them again and oh boy was that a frustrating endeavor. I thought after completing the expert one all the other ones would be easier but nope that dodge viper at Daytona was a complete 🤬. Anyway, now that I've golded all of them, I'm done for today. I need to go decompress.

Menu Book 39 — Championship: World GT Series. 2nd place with a fully jacked GT-R 17. Would have been first if I hadn't come in 8th in the last race. I was too tired to start over.
That last race will get you if you're not careful I had the same thing happen to me but I finished 3rd but I had a 7th place finish on the 4th race when I took the last turn before the finish line too fast and dropped from 1st to 7th

Did some work on the Watkins Glen TT, in the F-Type this time. Improved my score a little deeper into gold, but my goal is to find my limit so I can hopefully use that experience for the Manufacturer race on Wednesday.

DW - 5 star ticket gave me some carbon brakes for some AMG that I don't think I have. (Got 1 million Cr. from a 6 star ticket yesterday, so I can't complain).

These drift trails are ridiculous. Are you on the pad or wheel?

I've been working on the BRZ one recently, my best score so far is 5003 on the wheel. Tried a few times with the DS5, but I've done everything with the wheel so far and it feels better to me.

This morning, I was focused on WG and it was gold session :dopey:

1. Golded again WG with a decent 1:56.054 even I would prefer sub 1:56. This gold score should stand till the end. It's time to be fully concentrated on BH now :mischievous:

2. Golded the sections 2, 3 and the full lap for WG CE with the Genesis X 😍

3. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ : another Ferrari invitation (after the F8 Tributo yesterday)

I bought the CLK and won Sardegna with it easily - a bit too easily though, so I will detune it a bit to make it more of an interesting race.

I had planned to save up for the 917K but that was pretty much out of the question, so I decided to go for the CLK and the 330 P4. Unfortunately, I doubt I'll get the latter, and for a really stupid reason...

I'm on holiday all of next week, but I have a work trip as soon as I get home (which I tried to get out of...) so I needed to prepare for that today - basically iron a couple of shirts. I put the iron on and then noticed it was out of water - when I went to add some water, I forgot that the iron had been on for a few minutes, and so when I went to tilt the iron forward to pour the water in, I placed my hand on the iron face, which was red hot. I've burned three fingers on my right hand and it is currently very sore, so that's GT7 out of the question for the rest of the day :(

It will also probably make lugging my cases etc. harder than it should be, and it will probably remain sore for the rest of the week, so I'm hoping it won't spoil my trip to Spa, which starts on Tuesday.

Improved to silver at WG and then got silver at BH. Nothing remarkable in that, but what is remarkable is the improvements I’ve had in the last two weeks.

Read a thread on here about top times at Sardegna and got inspired to up my game. Tried the tune for Sardenga using the 787B and what a difference.

Then decided to aim higher on TT’s instead if settling for bronze. Now have two silvers in a row with two more in the pipeline. Might even try for gold on WG, as only about a second away.

Used to be solid gold in GT5 and 6, and just thought I’d lost a bit with the advancing years. Will see what the next week brings.

I've done all the drift missions on pad. I started with the wheel but I found it ridiculously harder to control. It's a lot easier to manage with the pad but still very difficult. IMO something just feels off with the drifting physics in GT7 and I don't like it at all. Same for all those rally events.

100% agree with you about drift and rally

My hand is a feeling better now, fortunately the burns weren't too bad after an hour or so.

I did a Daily Race at Suzuka and improved my Quali lap to 1.51.3xxx, good enough for 2nd place on the grid.

I'm glad to say that I won, but it was a strange and frustrating race...

I guess we are not in the habit of naming and shaming bad drivers, but the guy on pole was being a complete dick - which is werid as he was a mile ahead on pole (1.50.1xx) and much quicker than me on the track...

However, he kept slowing down on purpose and then would overtake me again, presumably because he had no serious competition. I'm not against someone doing that maybe once, but this guy's behaviour was really ****.... firstly, the first time he passed me, he was extremely clumsy (or so I thought...) and hit me on the exit of the turn before the start/finish line before breezing into the lead again... then, he let me pass again, and this time he passed me cleanly into Turn One, albeit compromising me by staying too close.

The third incident, however, was a real dick move. This time, instead of letting me pass, he very deliberately blocked me before letting me pass, and then he hit me again, this time as I was leading into Turn One. This cost me at least 2 seconds, which given that the gap to P3 was only around 3.5s, was a substantial loss.

By this point I was in no doubt that he was deliberately messing with me/trying to ruin my race. However, even though this brought us both to within range of the car in P3, I kept calm and he scampered off into the distance, only to then lose it at Spoon and quit the race. That left me 3s in the lead until the guy behind made a mistake as well, and I won.

I hope I don't encounter this kind of behaviour too often as it is very frustrating... but I'll take the win.

Hmm, not having much luck today... spend 45 mins practicing then waiting on the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup event to start, only for the game to crash as the 5 minute Qualifying session started. And then next race is an hour away :ouch:

-

I tried another Daily Race C at Suzuka and qualified 2nd again, but this time with 4 of us on 1.51.xxx times, so I knew it would be a tight race.

Myself and the leader kept each other honest for the entire race, but I never got a chance to pass him. Considering I didn't win, I really enjoyed the race... and kudos to the guy infront... didn't make a single mistake and stayed ahead despite 10 laps of me being within 0.5-1.5s behind... he won by 1.1s in the end, but it was a magic race, and we both finished over 11s ahead of P3.

I took another day off to guarantee more-than-expected 3-star Wheels of Despair/5,000-Cr. runs. On the Plus account, I used the Little Audi That Can't, the TT Cup, in a sopping-wet race. Its only saving grace is that the fuel lasts 4 laps, and in the dry, the tires just might last 7. Otherwise, it is so slow that the theoretical best lap was in the 4:27 range. Unfortunately, the rain came so early on lap 2, Mendoza pitted for rain tires ahead of me and stayed out on lap 6 to nab a 11-second win.

My horrible luck continued with the 10th 3-star Wheel of Despair of 18 workouts (55.6%) on this account this month/16th of 36 (44.4%) between the two accounts this month/56th of 145 (38.6%) this year on the Plus account. Naturally, for the 8th time on this account for this month (44.4% of all workouts)/11th time between the 2 accounts (30.6% of all workouts), it gave me the lowest-possible 5,000 Cr. I actually typed that before spinning, but I didn't need to edit the amount, but I did need to edit the percentages because I didn't get a 3-star Wheel of Despair on the GTP account.

On the GTP account, I ground the Honda NSX Gr.B into the ground at Sarthe. The 4-star Wheel of Despair gave the most-worthless prize possible, a nitrous system.

Woke up late today so I missed most of Geezers this morning. Today is going to be all about grinding. I need to get my bank back up to usable level. I'm over this have to sell something to get the car I need to run with my friends s&>t. On top of not being able to finish my builds I want to do. To much real world has been in the way.

8 laps at WG just to finish the day, get my daily mileage and hopefully improve my record.

Was tired after more than a GT7 daily marathon on my bicycle this morning and more than 50km on my windfoil this afternoon, will get a good sleep tonight !

With that tiredness, I was not hoping for much, except getting my DW ticket and train muscle memory on this TT.

But... I managed to do very consistent laps most in the 1:57's and some 1:56's

On my best lap I've had 1.123s in advance on previous best lap, which was setting things for a good 1:56, may be a gold time ? Alas I lost some of it and crossed the line with "only" 0.958s improvement.

Which gave me an light improvement on my record, but not gold yet.

Lap count 84.

DW 4* -> 10k 💩

Having friends is great IRL but also IG because they motivate you to be better :)

I've checked the CE where @nickf1gr was faster than me and I've deciced to "challenge" him (only for motivation)!
After tens of laps, I've finally golded on Dragon Trail with the RCZ with a faster lap.
Without him, I would probably never had the idea to gold this CE.
All credits go to you, my friend :)
